  • HP Pavilion DV6535ep power Jack / USB module compatible numbers

    Hello

My HP dv6535ep has recently begun to turn off randomly. At first, I thought it was because of the temperature of the CPU/GPU but then discovered that he was in fact the power jack which became very hot and it has partially melted. I completely disassembled the laptop and inspected the power Jack / USB module and not found other flaws that a charred soldering point corresponding to the + 19V input line. I tested the power cable and the PCB board for short circuits, there is everything. I also tested the diet that works. Since the tip of electric power cable have significantly melted, I replaced with a new cable and assembled the laptop again. However the problem persists, with the new power supply tip, the tip and connector instantly becomes very hot when the laptop is turned on. The laptop does not even pass the BIOS/POST, she shut it down. For completeness, I will add that the blue power jack light is on once I connect to the edge of power.

    So in summary:

    * After you turn on the laptop, the DC power connector tip and jack become very very hot in a matter of seconds (point melt the end if not immediately disconnected).

    * The power DC jack light is on after plugging in the power.

    * The laptop often depends not at all and when it does, it stops during the BIOS POST.

    * The power supply is working (I have tested) and the power cable and points work too (I replaced with new parts).

Then, leading me to believe the power Jack / USB is defective and must be replaced and that's the reason why I am writing here in the first place. You would be so kind and provide the power Jack / USB board of part numbers that are compatible with my laptop? Current reference number (defective) power Jack / USB card is

    DDAT8APB3002907

I have difficulties to find exact matches on the surplus stores, where the best that I got is DDAT8APB300XXXX, where the last four digits do not match. Are they compatible?

In hoping to hear talk about you,

    Thank you

  • x 220 power jack stopped working

    Hello

The power supply (port/card) has always been a bit wobbly in his hole but the other day it stopped any chance of turning on the laptop. It is not the adapter that is the problem, because it still works in my brothers laptop computer and its adapter does not work in mine.

So is the yellow jack and wire or the motherboard that is the problem. y at - there a way to check who has the problem related to the? Can be replaced easily enough, but I guess that the motherboard will be a complete cancellation? Maybe I can check the voltage at the connection somewhere? I looked but can not see anywhere to do this and I'm not an expert.

The power supply is called a 04W1680 editing DC-in cable in the manual. I can see theres some on ebay for $ 28ish.

Here are some pictures of the plug. I took apart all the way up to the motherboard. It turns out that x 220 HMM is slightly different in some places in my laptop but either. http://imgur.com/a/3sIb6

    Thanks for the help!

Seems to me that if you unplug the connector from the motherboard, and then plug the power adapter, you should be able to measure the voltage of the plug that goes into the motherboard.  No voltage is bad.  Worth.

Another would be to attach the portable computer to a docking (or ban) with the AC adapter plugged into the docking station.  If the laptop starts and the battery indicates charge chances are the MB is ok.

  • HP xw8600 Workstation: Jack ports does not not on xw8600 workstation

I just installed a new graphics (quadro m4000) cars and he doesn't use that sense displayport, there is no sound in my hdmi (im using my TV ihave to use converters) and so I had to use my ports for 3.5 mm jack. But these do not seem to work, I used those in the front, rear and uninstalled nvidia hd audio and used stock, but it does not recognize my headset. I was in the Woods in the security > device no matter but not to chance it. If someone could help that would be great.

    Hello:

It is very possible that the graphics card turned off the audio system built into your PC, because a model of PC of this age had a BIOS that is too old to tell if you have added a video card with HDMI and it disables the built-in audio system thinking that you have added a sound card too.

This nvidia card may have supported audio out of the display port, if there is a sound chip on the card.

Go into the BIOS menu advanced and in the section device options, there may be an embedded audio setting that appeared.

If there is, it will probably define to people with reduced mobility.  Change the active setting.  Save it there and once again when you exit the BIOS.

Restart the PC and get into windows, integrated sound card should work again.

  • Dynadock not power USB ports

I bought a new Toshiba Dynadock. As I uderstood documentation it should feed two front usb even when the host computer is in standby mode or disconnected ports. It doesn't seem to work for me.

Devices connected to everything (including forward) ports continues to load when the computer is suspended/disconnected. I tried with the ipod player mp3 flash with the same result.

It works for you? If it works if I understand correctly? Or my device is defective just?

    What is your opinion?

    Thank you for your help.
    Barthek

    Hi guys

I think I should clarify this question ;)

The dynadock s supports six USB ports.
But * only before two USB ports provide power * when the computer is turned off, suspended or disconnected. This allows you to reload some MP3 players, mobile phones and other devices.

But beware: not all devices can be loaded through these ports.

    I hope this helps!

  • After shutdown still power USB ports

When I used Bootcamp and Windows 10 on my iMac 27 "(end of 2012), the USB ports are still less power when I shut down the computer to Windows. A USB powered external hard drive and a USB hub are still active. When I shut down the computer from Mac OS X ports are powerless. Why is this?

Can you check Windows quick start?

  • SG100D - 08 p - how much power per port?

Hi all.  The Cisco documentation goes on to say '33.6W' dedicated power budget.  I'm new to PoE, but what this cdoesn can't answer is if you can get all the 33W on e to asingle port if you want to, or is it a share of about 8. xW by port.  I would like to connect an AP541N for example, which has a maximum circulation of 9.9W, so a single port on the SG100D - 08 p must support that much.

I'm sure that PoE is designed to facilitate a port unequal distribution else you would be stuck with a single type of device on all ports of a same switch, but I want o confirm if I can.  Thank you!

Hi, the Valley of the switch cannot provide more than 12.95 Watts per port. 802.3af specifies 15.4 watts which results in maximum actual 12.95 per port.

The maximum budget would be 33.6w for the switch set in the 802.3af parameter.

It can supply enough all class 3 poe (up to 3) device and enough power up to 8 class 1 device poe and 4 class 2 poe devices

Any ideas on cost or if it is covered by the warranty because it been 6 months since I bought the laptop!

    Hello

The standard warranty is valid for one year.
But I'm not very well if this dysfunction is however covered by the warranty, you should speak to your local Toshiba ASP in order to get more details and fix this m.

The entry on the laptop power socket is wobbly. If you touch the power cord of the power supply you can turn off the power to the laptop.

    I have 2 questions:

#1 do - that I have a HP Pavilion dv6500 or a dv6647nr? The reason why I ask is because spare parts are different between 6500 and 6600 series.

    do I need an assemblage of spare 65w or 90w a #2?
