  Wit, your laptop is off, use a cushioned soft, lint or Microfiber cloth. Wipe the screen in gentle way to remove stains and fingerprints.  Alternatively, you can buy the screen of a PC shop wipes that are made for cleaning laptop screens.

  Maybe someone can help. Bought a HP15 Touch Smart (refurb) 2 days ago.  It was working fine until this morning. After entering my p/w the computer screen turns off and does not turn upward. I can't get anywhere to give instructions specific to the computer. Someone at - it ideas?

  In this case, I would say download AdwCleaner from the following link (there are 4-5 second delay until it's available)- Save in your downloads folder.

  A once downloaded, close all programs, open your download folder and double-click the application to run it (click Yes to any uac prompt).

  Click the scan button.

  When the results are displayed, click the Clean button - when you are prompted to restart, click Ok.

  It starts on the desktop correctly?

Taking it home found that wifi & Lan port does not work .in the 7 days I went to service center of Balasore. Insured the problem set. After that 3 days said, the problem being resolved & you can take. Winning the same persist.service problem Center send their service engineer 3days & a me mother a problem & return it to service. Then until December 14, the laptop has been with the service center. After that they call me Service Center, I found the touchscreen does not work & lan port has miserably sorted. When complained agains they said another hardware problem. So far they have kept with them. In this regard I ask the company to return the product immediately, because I lost my trust in this model. Please return my money or make arrangements to change the product with your model TouchSmart from HP HP ENVY 15 - j120tx laptop. I will pay the amount of the balance please let me pay according to the competitive market rate. I think that judge you my problem & grant my request as soon as possible. Thanking you

  Use a damp cloth to clean the underside of the mouse. Especially the Red small part brilliant in the Center.   Personally, I don't want to do the upgrade.  Why?

  Because HP does not provide drivers for your PC Win10, and if you force the upgrade, you will then be relegated to generic drivers that Microsoft provides. While those who can BE manipulated, if all are not, then you're stuck with hardware that does not completely, as the HP drivers so that the material simply do not exist.

  However, if you are determined to go ahead, you can protect yourself problems upgrade and recovery if, before doing the upgrade, you plan to use a third-party application Imaging/restoration as Macrium Reflect to image your machine off so that you can easily restore it if something does not work.

  Macrium reflect (MR) provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx

  What I recommend is the following:
  (1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
  (2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
  (3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key

  My experience is that SIR, when you use the option of Compression high, typically allows to compress the image file recorded at about 50% of the space USED in the OS partition. This means that if you have a 40GB and 80GB OS partition is used, MR must only about 20 GB to store the image file.

  I use all the time and it usually takes less than 10 minutes to make the backup of the image and at the same time or less do a restore.

  In addition, MR has the ability to add a recovery Boot Menu entry. This then allows you to boot into Windows re, and then you can use it to do a restore - when you cannot start Windows!

  NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.

  I'm having this problem a few months ago August 2015 rose with a combination of a green horizontal line appear in the middle of my screen with in a few days later the line moved to the taskbar line I said to my self "Yes, I can work with that " so only a few days ago lines moved an inch higher in my screen and there are now 3 horizontal lines of suggestions and you can tell me how can this happen?... and oh... the screen below the line is like flikering? I don't know if that's the word line move fast doward... are pictures 2 on 2 August from Nov.

  Here's the follow up:

  -You cannot restore your files once the HARD drive goes 'bad '. You can try to start the computer by using a few Linux based Live rescue CD, but chances are very small

  -You can not restore factory default before replacing the HARD drive as the old is defective. You must insert a new and then restore because the information is indeed stored on the HARD drive (new)

  -If you know how and where you can event the same HDD - manufacturer 678312-002

  If this is not the case, just use some as suggested above and as explained in the guide Service and Maitanance.
