HP laptop not completely restart

Hello

I have a laptop HP Pavilion 1b60us g6 product number: LW350UA #ABA and for the last month there has been trouble restart completely.  Whenever a windows update runs and my computer starts the reboot process to complete the update, it goes out, but will not turn back automatically.  The screen will turn black and the power light is still on, but nothing else works on the computer, unless you force shut down the computer and then turn it on again.  I waited all night to see if it restarts and it wouldn't.  I've updated all my drivers and run many programs viruses and malware to make sure it wasn't a bug causing, and now I'm stuck.

Thanks for the help in advance!

I'll try to suggest something that you can do:

First try a hard reset & check if had solved the problem:
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01684768

Test of hardware failure - HDD & memory two quick & intensive tests, following link might help you:
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01443317

Have you updated the BIOS, if not update it starting from here, select your OS & download save & install. No other program must be running in the background, disconnect all external devices, keep the wifi network, plug power adapter for the whole system.

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&DLC=en&docName=c01684768&LC=en&product=5128908&

If these don't work, do the analysis of auditor of system files of the administrator, right-click command prompt start menu to run as administrator command prompt:
type:

SFC \scannow

Wait for the results,
restart the system
If there are errors, run it once more

Also
Keep off Antivirus before Windows update software & try to update again. Then reboot, activate antivirus antivirus update too.

If nothing works
Do a restore of the system to a previous good state, at least 24 hours before the problem started & do things said above then re update.

Hope this helps,

-If stop: OS works normally without error or warning.

After sleep, OS works from the beginning. Because the data stored in RAM and will be deleted after power off.

  • HP Pavilion 14 laptop: HP Pavilion 14 does not completely close

    Hello

Recently, I follow several updates driver on my laptop as suggested by HP Support Assistant. I believe that most, if not all, these updates have been Intel. Since then, my computer was not stopping completely.

No matter if I push the power button / stop or klick on farm on the menu, my laptop to initialize the process of closing and I get the blue screen that says "Shutting down...". "but when the screen goes black, my power button light remains on and I can hear the cooling of laptop. Basically, I have to hold the power button for a long time if I want to completely stop my laptop (and to reactivate it later).

  • Windows Vista - after the RESTORE partition HARD drive: WINDOWS COULD NOT COMPLETE the INSTALLATION. TO INSTALL WINDOWS ON THIS COMPUTER, RESTART THE INSTALLATION

    Hello

I have WINDOWS VISTA and just tried to reinstall my laptop of restoration on a HARD disk partition.

The restore went through, but then I got the error: WINDOWS COULD NOT COMPLETE the INSTALLATION. TO INSTALL WINDOWS ON THIS COMPUTER, RESTART THE INSTALLATION

When I press 'OK' (which is the only option), it tries to start again, until I get the same error through the black screen.

How can I get out of this loop please?

    Thank you.

    Hello

For any problem with the help of the recovery Partition that has been copied to the hard disk by the computer manufacturer, you must contact them.

This recovery process is the manufacturer, not Microsoft.

    ________________________________________________

You never told us why you wanted to do a restore. If you had serious errors and the recovery process does not work, you will have hardware problems. BUT we're only guessing at this stage due to lack of information to help you.

    See you soon.

    Hello

Try disabling the hybrid Windows 8 start - you can do the following.

Right-click in the battery icon in the taskbar and select Power Options - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close open windows and stop the laptop by right clicking on the icon from the Start Menu, select prompt (Admin) and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

Type (or copy and paste) the following command (including spaces) and click Enter.

    Shutdown /s /t 0

Start the laptop and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking if it is now shut down properly in the Start Menu.

If this has fixed the problem, it may be useful by turning the quick start back on - sometimes simply remove and re-create the file will solve the problem.

  • I've updated my macbookpro (2010) snow leopard at elcapitan but when I restart it does not complete the installation then is no longer able to use it. Help?

I've updated my macbookpro (2010) snow leopard at elcapitan but when I restart it does not complete the installation then is no longer able to use it.

    I tried the following:

1 start with the R command and using disk utility that did say he had problems but then appear all ok after completing.

2 tried the Verbose mode and did not work

    3. I tried command mode S did not.

    4. tried to zap the pram was not working.

5 a couple other things that I had read, but nothing helped.

It starts up and the line begins to show the computer made his 'thing', but gets stuck about 3/4 quarters of and goes no further. Would appreciate any suggestions.

PS: also tried boot from the original disks as well, but no luck.

You said "PS: also starting from the original disks tried both but no luck."

Exactly what happened when you tried?

Have you tried formatting the HD?

Have you started the installation of SL?

  • Problem printing - "operation not completed; "print spooler service does not.

My laptop has suddenly decided to stop from allowing me to print, gives me the message "operation was not completed. Print Spooler service is not running", even though when I look in the Services, it is running. I am running XP Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301 - 1519: Service Pack 2.

    Hello

According to the description in this document from the Microsoft Knowledge base:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=314876

    Please try this:
    1. click on start and then click Control Panel.
    2. double-click Administrative Tools and then click Services.
    3. double-click on the Printer Spooler service and then change the startup type to automatic. This option sets the spooler service starts automatically when you restart the computer.
    4. If you want to start the spooler service immediately, click the Start button under the Service status field.

Maybe it helps you solve this problem.

  • "Windows could not complete the installation", Y510P

    Hello

Just got my new Y510P and realized it's impossible to start Windows.

Initially it displays error "Windows cannot parse or process Unattend...» [... \unattend.xml] [oobeSystem] pass... »

After reboot he start to display a different message - "Windows could not complete installation, restart the installation.

The operating system is Windows 8.1.

Looks like I'm not the only person having this problem. System recovery does not help, of course (as well as the graceful Lenovo tech support).

I think that the problem caused by the incorrect unattend.xml file that fails to install any software because of this error and unnesessary blocking Windows to complete the installation.

I see no other way rather than installing Windows from another source. I don't want to pay for another Windows license and instead return the Lenovo laptop, but perhaps there is another way?

    Problem solved.

I contacted Lenovo support and they offered me to send recovery discs I received a few days later. I installed the cleaning system of records and have not experienced any problems since.

I'm still not fully satisfied because I cannot reset the laptop to the factory settings without these discs, but I think I can live with that.

  • "Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete."

I read the posts that deal with this problem before, but none of the solutions seem to work for me. When you try to open the solution Center I get the error message: "Solution Center cannot work because your installation of the device is not complete."  Argh, again! He used to work, but all of a sudden no longer. I uninstalled it, reinstalled, restarted print spooling, update adobe flash, has run windows updates, changed the "HP CUE Device Discovery" start-up, disabled virus protection, tried to connect by USB instead of wireless, etc... I also tried:

    1. download and install the following update

    4 open the Util folder

    5 open the CCC folder

    ...

    ...

.. but is there a "Util" folder in the folder starting with 7z...

I don't have a disk, rather downloaded the software.

    It sucks, any other suggestions...?

I have a computer Dell Vostro laptop running Windows 7 Professional 32 - bit and 64 - bit, connected wireless to a HP Photosmart C4599 all-in-one.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I finally got it! I have decided, once more, uninstall and reinstall. I eventually several files that began with 7z... I found one who had a "Util" folder it contains and a "CCC file" in this context, so I was able to continue with instructions of a related post, HP employee "pcwizard":

If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:

    1. type % temp % in the field of race

    2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

9 download drivers and full software features

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=MP-80348-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&...=

    10. run the download to reinstall the printer

So I'm pumped it worked, but why is this problem even occurs?

  • Windows Vista will not complete installation on SATA hard drive

I tried to install Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit on a new desktop computer Acer X 1200 (less than 1 year).  Vista recognizes the drive, format and copy all the files on the disk installation.  Then restarts, is preparing to launch for the first time and get to the part where it says installation finished and hangs there.  The green progress bar does not move and it hangs indefinitely.  The hard drive is SATA and I put a new disc in hard, but exactly the same thing happened.  The motherboard has no IDE port on it and there is no option in the BIOS for the IDE emulation.  At this point I think the motherboard is bad, but I am working also on a laptop HP 1 year with SATA hard drive that does exactly the same thing.  The two systems are pre-installed with Vista Home Premium.  The two systems see the hard drive, but will not complete installation.  I even tried to run the WD Tools Data Lifeguard before installation with no luck at all.  There is no error message or error code, just of hangs and end no installation.  You have any suggestions for this?  Thank you.

What was my problem I bought the equipment... like motherboard, memory, cpu, and video

Vista would not be install.would blow on the end of the installation so I tried to put it natively and it worked!

  • Vista: Windows could not complete the installation. Reinstall Windows. Stops at CRCDISK. SYS in safemode, all the time.

A hard drive the HP dv2915nr laptop was dead. Installed a new hard drive and use the HP recovery CD. installs for 4 hours and then stops: Windows could not complete installation. Please re - install Windows again. Each facility is 4 hours. Because another install and it took 4 hours and then it restarts and stop at the same error. Now, I'm administrator (locked) - turn off when I pop in the recovery CD. Message: Your account has been disabled. Please, see your system administrator. I tried Safe Mode and loading Windows files stops at crcdisk.sys all the time and then restarts and displays: Windows could not complete installation. Please install again. Can't go in the office. Only restarts with these messages. Asked HP cat (3) Tech people and they do not have the answer. Said, could be a compatibility issue with the software. I ordered this CD of recovery on their part and he got yesterday. Now, they send in the laptop. So tried advice here. Please notify.

I found the answer. HP Tech Support Chat did not know the answer. When you run HP recovery CD, don't hit the restart WINDOWS button when it asks. The software will do it for you automatically. It will take a while (several hours 1-6 hours) to complete. You'll know it's done when WINDOWS ask you information of language, country and keyboard. In other words, don't touch anything once you start the restore CD program. Leave it alone and it will fix it for you. IGNORE the pop-up restart.

I can't believe HP has not even tell me that and 3 chat sessions with them was a waste of time. Last HP person ask me to send in the RECOVERY CD and the laptop.

No help from anyone on this issue. :(

BUT I thought about it. :)
