HP laptop PC 14 14-g008AU: restart sudden

Hello..

I have a problem with my laptop here. My product is 14 Hp notebook pc 14-g008AU, 4 GB of RAM and windows 7 64-bit. Keep restarting my device whenever I play / watch movie to a dvd or a file (even if the film / video only a minute or two as a movie trailers or so), but it does not restart if I watch video online and whenever I try to play the game such zuma, simcity4, or even counter strike. The retreatant happens instantly, it sometimes takes a while about 5-10 minutes, then it restarts but surely it WILL restart and never show a BSOD.

I usually use my computer for work, iam a teacher so I do not use or install a program, or 'heavy' software, I use avast free antivirus.

Does anyone know what the problem with my laptop? (this is a brand new, I just bought it on 5 March)

Thank you...

Hi @SamudraPrayitna,

I saw your post about the computer crashing when you watch videos and trying to play games. This seems to indicate a graphics problem. Try installing this driver AMD HD graphics and let me know how it goes.

  • Satellite A500 - 19(d) - blue screens and restarts suddenly

I am the most unfortunate customer or this model again? No one has problems with the A500 - 19(d)?
I bought, five days ago a new. First start: blue screen. Second: blue screen. Third: F8 safe mode → → can through the entire current configuration.
Then start: party started. A few times the blue pro displays time and restarts. Tempro have 2 messages based: BIOS and WLAN driver update. Update BIOS message: your BIOS is newer or the same thing. Updated WLAN: no driver for my Realtek RTL819 * 1 * SE for Win7.

Two days in vain have off turned parts and drivers downloaded. Third day: I have restored the laptop in its original original (thanks to the recovery of hard disk based) configuration and wanted to put back to give. But a small miracle happens (it's Christmas... or?)  :-)): no more blue screens. OK... just to start, it starts two or three times until OK and then just two or three times suddenly restarts a day. Yet once the drivers downloaded in vain. No change. Someone has an idea? It must be something wrong with the drivers in safe mode, that's OK. Again, there should be a driver it is loaded at startup (blue screen of the first and the second). I really like this laptop but have bought for work not for pleasure and, in this way, its quite risky, so I have to change them.

Stand by. Maybe I've misunderstood something and have to ask you once again: have you noticed this BSOD problem with State factory and without additional software installation?

Last month I had friends Satellite A500 for the test and I did not notice this kind of problems with original Vista and also clean install of Win7.
If you really think that it can be risky for you I recommend you exchange it again.

  • Computer laptop Windows 7 wakes up & restarts by itself

It has happened 3 times, the first was while I was wearing it - it was very hot when I took it out of the bag.  The other 2 times were hours after I put in standby.  It actually woke me, twice now!

Computer: HP Compaq 8510p Notebook (System 7 Home Premium SP1, Intel Core2Duo 2.00 GHz 2.00 GB RAM 32 - bit processor)
    Network cards:
    Broadcom 802.11 Multiband Network adapt
          No power management settings.

Intel(r) 82566 MM Gigabit Network Connection
          Power management settings
[check]    Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
[disabled]  Allow this device to wake the computer
[checked but greyed out]  Allow only a magic packet wake the computer
The computer shows usually connected both wireless and via ethernet (for the Broadcom) but wireless connectivity info contradicts itself - on.  I suppose that if I turn off WiFi hardware, the problem will not happen.
    ----
A separate issue, I got blue screen due to connect my ipod before the release of sleep.  It happened 2 or 3 times now.  It never occurred with my previous laptop XP.  Uncheck the "magic packet" would make a difference?

I tried to check if my BIOS is the most recent but HPs Web site is not very useful in this regard.

  • Restart suddenly streaming

someone knows a reboot suddenly while streaming nothing more than 2-3 minutes?

IM on Netflix - ABC - HBO - ESPN and streaming doesn't stop - but Apple TV suddenly turns itself and restarts!

have had this problem for 2 weeks. I have a connection to high speed Ethernet wifi n.

all apps work fine on roku well!

    Help!

I had this problem with mine as well and after some research, found out that the culprit was the IPv6. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason with regard to when the ATV should restart automatically. A few days that it would take place back to back, then he'd go days without it. When I disabled the sharing of my home network, my apple tv never automatically restarted after the IPv6 connection.

Know how to turn off your router for IPv6 connection sharing and you should be all set. I use a time Capsule airport so it was just a check box in the configuration of Internet settings.

  • Pavilion 15-p233TU laptop: laptop makes his pop then restarts by itself

A few minutes after that my laptop turns on it's a small "pop" sound and the screen goes black, then it starts to light up again. I connect fine and it loads my desktop then it turns off again in a few minutes.

Before the first time it happened, a message came when I turned on before Windows started loading a word on the BIOS and asking if I wanted to restart but I don't remember the details. I did nothing and he focused on marketing very well while the problem started to arrive 5 minutes later.

The laptop is 4 months old and the battery is fully charged. I tried to use it while charging and there is no difference.

Now I can't seem to turn on at all

    @Tess_Tickles,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  That pop sound is a component on the map to reach a limit and causing the system to go down.  This problem will require a repair.  Here is the link so that you can contact the correct service to the HP Support.

  • Laptop is not able to restart after the installation of SP1

I have a Toshiba laptop which has Vista Home Basic.
I installed SP1 last week and everything worked fine.
EXCEPT with SP1 I could not connect my iPod and so I decided to do a restore of the system for when I didn't have the SP1.
My iPod has continued to have problems anyway.

So just today. I tried to reinstall SP1.
Let him set up. Everything seems to happen normally.
I came back a couple hours later and my laptop has a black screen.
    It also has white text:

    !! Oxc01a001d! 9006/94145 (\Registry\Machine\COMPONENTS\DerivedData\...)

I turned off the laptop and tried to restart my laptop.
It is said that you cannot start Windows. I tried to do a repair. And I get a notification saying that he is unable to repair the computer automatically. And I tried to make me do a system recovery. ((I will not attempt recovery of the system until I know I must. Because I did not know this update was extremely important and have not backed up my files))

Again, I rebooted and this time I tried to start Windows normally.
Yet once, I get the above code.
So I guess that the laptop is verification of files? before we start?
This code is constantly flashing/blinking way glitch. (I hope this is necessary)

I think I can assume that this is not a good sign.
Can someone help me? And I would like to know what to do?
My idea is now to let sit and try to load all the files, otherwise I'll do a reinstall System...:]

BTW: At this time I had my laptop on the white text. And my computer is in standby mode. I tried to 'wake up' and now the screen is all black. Now I'm afraid it is stuck in standby mode, which has also held several weeks ago...

Please help me solve this problem!

I wonder if it is software problem or hardware problem...

    Hi SergeyPov,

I see that you are having problems with your fingerprint reader on your laptop. I'd love to help you.

You mentioned that you also updated the BIOS. After doing that you did that the fingerprint reader is always enabled in the BIOS?

Another option would be to possibly check the connections related to the fingerprint reader. It may have a bad contact, or it is also possible that the Board is defective. See the link below that can help checking the connection.

  • Restart suddenly during the recovery of the video: how taking this action?

I downloaded a movie from Hollywood on the Web and when I saw it on the media player - whenever it came to part - my computer suddenly restarted! I tried this three times and got the same result - a reboot suddenly exactly at the same place - as if there was a short cut. It played fine on my editing program - no error reported - and I fixed the problem by changing the scope of the problem, but I want to make at least an idea of how just watch that video could cause such a weird Marvel. Maybe something that has to do with WMP as an integral part of Windows?

Thanks for any comments that you want to give me,
    Rob

    Hi Dr. - shi.
in fact, the video card (more directly the pilot) is the most likely cause. Remember, a cause just the video driver is not a problem with a file does not mean that he will not be with each other. Without speculating too much, it's probably a dll file that needs updating through the video card drivers. I would suggest making sure your video drivers are up to date and your codecs. Do a clean boot, and rerun the film without any applications running in the background.

  • Windows Update fails, laptop breaks down at the restart, Windows 7

I had to buy a new drive hard laptop to my Toshiba Satellite after the first one stopped working. I reinstalled Windows 7 and did all the required Windows updates. So I wonder to restart, as usual, and I do. The problem is, when it gets to the point where the laptop screen goes black, and it should restart, is not. It is just a black screen, no response to the pressing movement or the key of the mouse. I know that the laptop is still technically because that light on is still green. I let him sit there for at least an hour, but nothing happened. Then I had the power button to turn off the laptop completely, he did and he turned his back. The laptop then turns and begins to set up the Windows updates, but it fails. After that I can log into the computer, and I can see that the Windows updates fails. Now, I have done this several times and sometimes the windows updates will succeed, but every time the laptop computer fails to restart correctly, and when I turn it off and turn it back on, he always tells me that Windows updates fail to configure. The last group of Windows updates I tried to do, they all failed to do.

I just looked at the history of updates to Windows, and these are updates that failed

Each update for Windows 7 for x 64 systems.

Daily security for Windows 7 for x 64 EXCEPT KB3035126 systems.

Each Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 security update

And each update Cumulative security for Internet Explorer 11

The only consistently successful updates have been

Update definition for Microsoft Security Essentials

Updates and security for Microsoft Office updates

and x 64 Windows malicious software removal tool

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C655D, it runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit (6.1, Build 7601), my processor is an AMD C-50 processor 1.GHz, I got 3072 MB of RAM, and my graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics card. If you need further information, I will provide it to you. Thanks in advance for any help provided. I appreciate it.

    Hello

Disable the antivirus and install updates, see if that helps.

Note: Please activate antivirus as soon as you check the issue.

If the previous step fails, perform a upgrade in Place (repair install).

How to perform an upgrade on the spot on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 & Windows Server 2008 R2

Note Run a repair installation will not damage files and applications that are currently installed on your computer.

    Thank you.

  • Laptop dropped; system does not restart

My phone fell a small table last week. Has started running very slowly. Tried to restart and nothing don't get going on... it was frozen. So I forced a stoppage. Restarted and nothing has worked. I cannot get into my laptop and already waited 24 hours while the system has attempted to create a backup of my files... which failed. Basically, I'm going to get a new hard drive (suggestions would help). My conern is to know how to reach all the drivers, software Windows 7, programs, etc. ??? My wife bought this for me to Best Buy. Should I go through them, or there at - it another option? My friend discussed that I would need a disc of recovery of some sort. IM also not sure what W7 system it was... If it's 32-bit or 64-bit. Does it matter? What is the advantage of a? Thank you much in advance.

    Laptop model - G72-C55DX

OS - Windows 7 (not sure if 32 or 64)

    You do well!

I just remembered why you had more than one large partition.  This is because you have run the recovery disk and it created a recovery partition and one for the operating system, then he bombed.

Then, read this tutorial, delete all partitions, create a big so the only thing you see is a player. When you delete everything and then create a new one, it must default to the maximum size.

But I always click on the arrow upwards in the area to ensure that it is the largest number.

Then, after reinstalling W7 (you get good at this, aren't you), go to your device manager and you will see all of the listed material that needs drivers.  They will all be listed with generic descriptions and have little yellow! brands next to each of them.

These are the guys that need drivers, more your video, which probably won't be on display in the device with a little yellow Manager! brand, but it is listed under the cards as VGA Standard controller display section and your graphics card will not look right.

I realize, you can't get online, then take another PC, get a portable USB flash drive, access support for your laptop and driver on the link below page and download the driver on your portable usb flash drive files, that connect to your PC, refurbished and install the drivers in the following order...

Now, who takes care of most of your missing drivers.

But the wireless card, you ask...

OK, because he could be one of several wireless notebook cards, I'll teach you a little trick to determine which model it is and this applies to any other remaining devices which may still have small yellow! marks next to them.

I am not your PC, so I do all the foregoing based on the pilots, I think that you have for this model.

You will surely have a device labeled with the small yellow network controller! Select this option.  Is your wireless card.

Then, click on the device in Device Manager. Then click on the Details tab. You will then see a drop-down list of properties. Place on this list, and then select the second element (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window. Those who will be identifty the model of the wireless card, and I'll send you the link to the drivers you need.

Do this for all other remaining devices marked with the small yellow! Select this option after you have installed all the drivers that I posted above.

  • HP Envy Phoenix, stop and restart suddenly

I've had this computer for a week and every time that I turn on and sign in about ten minutes later just stops and restarts without any explanation.  I tried to disable automatic reboot in the Advanced section in the properties of the system, but it didn't fix it, and I can't find any other explanations of what is happening.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

  • My laptop screen goes black and restart but not when I'm in safe mode. What could be the problem?

I am running Vista with Service Pack 1 (I tried unsuccessfully to install SP 2) and this started happening a few months ago.

    Hello

There are several reasons why he has done this for a few mouths.

You tell us when it happens, after what period of time, etc.

Overheating due to the accumulation of dust in the vents, etc., is a main reason for a computer laptop closed.

    Installation of SP2

Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

It will also tell you which SP you have installed.

Then choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Pack 2

    Vista SP2 32-bit (x 86): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16468

    Vista SP2 64-bit: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17669

This Information Microsoft can help you resolve problems that you encounter during the installation of Service Packs for Vista.
