HP Mini 210-3025 feeding issues its

Hi all

This is my first post here, so please forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong section/Council.

I have a HP Mini 210-3025 AA as a Christmas gift last year of my better half, that I loved and appreciated and never encountered problems with this day (Finally, nothing that I've failed to solve anyway).

So it's almost a year now and I use it, 2 weeks ago my better half and I went to a holiday and the laptop worked perfectly before that night, and since we were leaving for 2 weeks, I removed the battery (I usually use the laptop without the battery installed in any case, just plug it into the charger) But anyway, removed battery, external mouse and removed flash drives and put in his case.

This morning after I got home, I tried to turn it on, connected outside the mouse, charger and pressed the power button, but no response... So I unplugged the charger (both supply and the laptop) and reconnected, still nothing; then decided to give the battery a go, which lead to the power led next to the plug of the charger flashes 3 times indicator of low battery. So I plugged in the charger, the red light and should be in charge, but the Start button / stop it turns not again, waited 20 minutes to try again, still nothing, tried with another charger, still nothing!

Finally I let the battery charge and it was fully charged, but now he is dead yet and I can't turn it at all! Although the battery is charged!

For a person that most people consider a "geek", I have no idea of what the exact problem is, initially I thought that it could be the power button, but when the power led blinked by pressing it stack installed earlier I ecxluded; thought it could be the charging circuit for not working after 20 minutes, but now it is fully charged, still does not!

I tried the hard reset, but it doesn't seem to change anything

I am a very careful person with my stuff, so nothing has been spilled on my laptop, or something like that, but now I have a major problem happening for obvious reasons! And it's a gift from my better half which means I want to return to work just because this isn't just a laptop to me!

Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.

I was not sure from your post if you had been able to reset or not.  However, thank you to try my steps even if you tried this solution in the past.

It is difficult to identify these kinds of questions.  However, I think that your motherboard may be at fault here.  I'll try to explain why.  Battery (seem to) load normally so we can assume that the AC adapter and the battery are in working condition.  However, even with a charged battery, you get no response from the laptop.  With other kinds of issues (bad BIOS, bad RAM, etc.), you will get a SHIFT CAPSLOCK or Numlock blinking code which indicates the problem.  If it was one of those pieces of equipment that has been loaded you would receive a different set of symptoms.  Unfortunately, I can't speculate on the cause of the failure.

I think your best bet is to have the laptop repaired.  You said that you have already started the process to have the laptop repaired through HP.  It is the best option in my opinion.  Just in case where you do not have information you can directly join the HP Support at 1-800-474-6836 for the United States / Canada.  Other areas will have to visit HP's Support around the world to find their contact information.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.  Enjoy the rest of your week

How can I fix the user profile so that I can open a session?

    Hello

    You can try the following.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 24 hours prior to the issue of logon and then proceed to the restoration.  When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check if you can now connect correctly.

Another option if the above does not help is as follows.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

How can I install windows xp in hp mini 210 1010NR... I tried to install windows xp service pack 3, but I could not, can someone help me please its urgent thank you...

You need to integrate the drivers Sata ( ICH7M/MDH SATA AHCI ) and burn a new cd XP with nLite.

Here is a guide showing how to integrate and here are the drivers Sata . 7-ZIP or Universal Extractor are good out of the installer.

  • HP Mini 210-4000 blue screen of death PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Error

I've been up and down the Forums here with no specific luck, unfortunately, so I'll ask even if this has been asked and solved in another part of the site that I may have missed.

I'm trying to untangle HP Mini Notebook a friend, model HP Mini 210-4125sa. The machine starts well enough until last week, when it was suddenly decided to blue screen.

The text of the error message displayed in the BSOD reads as follows:

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

    STOP: 0 X 00000050 (0X87E40000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000, 0X92442B13)

I can't start after loading Windows 7 - the load bar screen makes two fifths upwards and that's all.

I had thought to try to recover the operating system, if possible, of what is apparently a recovery partition that is created on the hard drive (I have not worked with these machines before, unfortunately), but I can't figure out how to get to that partition before the typing error.

In addition, after trying to download a piece of software of HP USB recovery Flash Disk Utility, I realize it seems necessary to use it in fact of the computer laptop itself, that is not possible.
Having begun to run various tests on board in the menu of the BIOS, the hard drive Test failed just apparently (more specifically the hard drive part optimized DST test), with ID GGBXXV-66A75U-MFPX0J-61VV03 failure (I don't know if this information is useful but am nevertheless understood). HP unfortunately were not a lot of help as they wil only offers unique support technician call for forty pounds, or to take the laptop away for repair, which cost almost as much as the original of the material costs. Of course, I prefer to try and resolve this issue myself but have hit a bit of a wall at the present time. Any suggestion would be great at this point.

This test equipment for the hard drive is a gift died of a faulty element. A failed hard drive is a show-stopper.

Hard drive optimized DST part of the test), with ID GGBXXV-66A75U-MFPX0J-61VV03 failure (I don't know if this information is useful but am nevertheless understood) This is important information.

A corrupted NTFS (hard drive) volume can also generate the "error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" stop message.

  • Border in black screen HP Mini 210, screen shifted downwards - problem after power outage

HP Mini 210-1000 actually it's HP Mini 210-1060 EV PC

    Some specifications:

Display: 25.6 cm (10.1 ") diagonal WSVGA LED HP BrightView Infinity Widescreen Display (1024 x 600) SUBMISSION

Battery has been dead for a long time.

My display drivers and BIOS have been recently updated from the HP website.

After a power failure and a reboot, the screen looks weird. It was moved about an inch down with a black border at the top, on which the mouse won't and the task bar is not visible, as is the bottom of the screen.

When I go to the screen resolution in Windows by right-clicking on the desktop resolution is set at 1024 x 768, when I click on advanced settings, the monitor tab, monitor is set as a Monitor (1024 x 768 60 Hz) generic Non-PnP.

When I change to 1024 x 600 it seems blurred and stretched vertically, but the screen is always shifted down with black border on top.

    When I get the Intel graphics settings I can make the same changes as in the dialog Windows (640 x 480, 800 x 600, 1024 x 600, 1024 x 768).

In image format Options when I select full-screen (non-frontiere) the black border is fixed but always tense vertical screen but the screen is cut down with no visible taskbar.

Graphics driver reinstalled so that some Type Monitor of windows drivers, nothing changes.

When I turn on the laptop, the screen HP Quickweb appears also as a 1024 x 600 stretched vertically without black border at the top but will disable the display down.

It seems that Windows and Hp Quickweb see at 1024 x 768 60 Hz display after the power failure.

Before that, I had installed Windows updates, but nothing on the display drivers.

I only got a point system restore leave on earlier that day (very low disk space?) but that did nothing.

Guess it is a registry/driver issue since no pixel is bad and the black border on top is set in image format Options when I select full-screen (sans-bordure). Any suggestions please?

After noticing the OS startup screen/HP resolution looked normal, I just removed the plastic bottom and hit the CMOS battery, after reading this somewhere, because the audio drivers and webcam have been uninstalled too whenever I rebooted the netbook.

He has not moved even because it was recorded well.

So I restarted and the resolution has been set.

  • HP Mini 210: Sound silent light 'stuck' on

This computer was initially provided with Windows 7 Starter. I recently uppgraded to windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit.

Initially, I had bad turn the wi-fi/bluetooth radio.

Now the radio will function correctly but the volume mute led is on, but the sound of the computer is not cut.

I can turn off the sound by using the icon in the system tray.

    Any ideas?

I know it's a little slow, but a bit boring.

    Thanks in advance.

Here is the final verdict which has solved the problems for me.

    Computer: HP Mini 210 t-1000

Operating system: Win7 (originally shipped with Starter - 32 bit; upgraded to Home Premium 64-bit edition)

    All other parameters are OEM

When the Home Premium 64-bit Win7 was installed there are a few problems of key board because the sound has not might be cut from the keyboard (stuck on silent light) and wi-fi/bluetooth could not be extinguished (taped to light; required function two presses of the key wireless turns off).

These two issues have been resolved, thanks in part to the good advice of HP Support Agent D5GR!  View to look at the pilot sets put me on the track of successful correction gaps.  Note: I was very careful to replace the chipset drives until I did research more. That would be my last option.

So, my first step, then, was to look at all the drivers of the computer. D5GR has provided the link (see his response me above/below) by pilots.  Given that the original machine is equipped with a 32 bit OS, I excluded all the "32-bit only" downloads in this section.  That included the driver chipset - BTW

Then, I downloaded all the drivers and utilities that were compatible with the 64 bit OS.  This includes the audio driver (sp49308.exe), wireless driver (sp48591.exe) for the Broadcom adapter installed and the Wizard (sp45222) wireless. There are a couple, but I didn't feel that they were relevant to this situation.

After each installation, a reboot has been accomplished.  When I had finished all the problems have been corrected; the computer works perfectly.

Finally, it should be noted that when a retail upgrade (not HP) is installed, there are the features expected that are not addressed in this upgrade - it is usually an OEM "generic."  These gaps must be filled with the provided HP solutions for the specific computer that you are upgrading.

That is my lesson learned in a few words.

Once again thank you D5GR for your advice and continue.  HP; the only way! ><>

Is your mini still within its warranty period?

    If Yes, contact HP.

If not, buy a replacement keyboard and replace it. They are not very expensive. The reference is in the manual that I linked to in my previous post.

  • Mini 210: the mini 210

    Hi guys.

I have a HP mini 210 which I use mainly for internet when they travel, but also for playing iTunes for house music when I execute concerts. Last week the on the key sound turns power on and off remains permanently lit. If I hit him, the o/s tells me that his is switching on and outside, and yet there is no sound on the internal speakers or headphones if I plug them in. Device Manager tells me that the sound is very good, icon audio system looks very happy they control noise. You can see the icon switch between sound off (with the cross inside) and suite. Supposedly I can adjust levels. But no sound, and the orange light on this key remains resolutely. It makes me think that it is not material, but a software problem. All the latest updates are on board.

Met someone with something like that before or have an idea where to find the next?
