• Cartridge, HP 920 XL: Wireless HP Officejet 6000, the problem of black ink printer

  I have a HP Officejet 6000 wireless printer.  It's 2nd HP 920 XL cartridge that has not worked.  It does not show that it is empty, but it will not be printed.  Our school cannot afford to replace these at this rate.  Please let me know what to do to make this work correctly.

  I removed the printer as my default so that I could use another printer.  When I ran the program again to check for problems, the guest asked me to add the printer returned as default.   When I reconnected it the printer as long as my default, I tested the printer and it worked.  Don't know why remove and then add back in the set, but he did.

I even carefully cleaned the container for the black cartridge with a Q-Tip to collect a small amount of excess ink. Color cartridges are printing very well but the black cartridges will not print. (Either by the way, it seemed to happen suddenly, not gradually). I would be sincerely acknowledging all recommendations to solve this problem.

  There is no way to disable the mode standby on this printer. I went through the manual to the owner for you no options.

• OfficeJet Pro 8500 depleted a color ink cartridges - printer will print not except if replaced

  When one of my color ink cartridges is empty ink, my printer does not print until the ink cartridge is replaced.  Of course, I go out and buy new and install it then get the message that another cartridge needs to be replaced!

  I only print in black ink in all cases.  Is it possible to print only black ink without replacing color cartridges are empty ink?

  In addition, if a color is exhausted, I should automaticall replace all color cartridges?

  Officejet 8500 printers individual ink cartridges (IIC); This machine requires that all cartridges to be installed to ensure that the printhead not damaged.   My Officejet 6000 will not print. The power and light of the resume light blink - normally, this means that there is a paper jam in which there is not. Or that the rollers need cleaning I did. I also cleaned the cartridges where the ink comes out.

  Also I tried to unplug the printer and try again without success. When the power is connected, the green light - after a few seconds it starts to blink and the printer goes into his routine of cleaning after this stop the Summary button illuminates and flashes also.   Have you removed all paper from the input tray and look in the status bar with a flashlight to make sure nothing is caught in the rollers?

  * Wait 30 seconds

  * Plug the unit back to

  Once the device is fed up reinstall ink supplies in the printer.  Also check to see if the truck can slide left and right all the way inside the printer by hand.

  I have 4 computers, printing on this printer and I put printing preferences on all levels of grey: black ink only, yet I am still uses ink of color for a reason any.  All faxes and copies that are made on the machine are in BLACK.  Please help me understand this.  Y at - it a setting I'm missing?

  There are a few things to check.  Some ink will be used to keep the "plumbing" and clear print heads.  If you never run cleaning cycles (in the front panel or computer palette) ink will use black and all colors.  If the printer is off of an external switch that will serve the most ink - the printer must always be connected to a live outlet.  Finally, when you automatically print duplex some color ink will be used on the first page to set the ink more quickly so that the ink will not smear when the page is pulled back into the printer.

  The document described here how the ink is used.  In the terminology of this document the 8600 Officejet Pro is an IIC printer.

  Hello.  I use this printer-e609a via the local USB port on my 32-bit XP machine.  Everything has been working great.  The last time I went to print, was advising me of a paper jam.  I have rempoved the paper tray and I checked carefully, and there is no paper is located.  I followed all the troubleshooting steps.  What I notice is that when I opened the top, the carriage does not move to the Center.  He begins to move, and then stops.  I have unplugged the printer and tried to manually move the carriage.  I can shoot right to the end, but when I try to move it left, it will come to a point and stops.  I can not move in the Summit area.  I do not see the obstructions, but I can also see behind the cart.  Is - this toast to printer?  It is out of warranty.  Is there another way to move the cart?  Thank you very much for the help.

  I solved the problem.  I have chunked the printer and got an Epson.

  My E609A printer performs a second 40 self-clean cycle after every printing.  It wastes a lot of time between two jobs.  He should do or is there a fault.  I tried to reload the software as well as try the printer on anoyher PC.  Windows XP operating system

  Most of my printing is done in draft mode.  What I print only has no impact on the problem, each print is always followed by a cleaning cycle. (and has always been again)

  I can print the HP utility diagnostics, but I can't seem to get any Mac application to print anything. The pages are always hang in the queue with an unspecified error. I tried ALL the recommended procedures for the diagnosis of this problem, but nothing has worked.

  I have proposed several times, and it often works.  Make sure that your OS X is healthy:

  1. download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 updated Combo.
  2 download and install the Apple for Mac OS X v10.6 HP printer drivers.

Close the cover, flashing lites power and resume, press summary and unplug the power cord when the cart is centered. Remove print head, close the lid, back the start-up routine. Open the lid and now transport stops in the Center and all the lites normals. With lamp torch and lid open (with cardboard in photo electric switch) and print head installed in position, pressing on the set of the view CV under presses of subsequent print head print head to prevent fresh ink while the printer is in sleep mode, remove the cardboard (lid open simulating) tray does not move downwards releasing the print head. Has gone through all six steps of the Solution and no help. Impossible to open the case to observe the load mechanism. Nothing else to try? Printer purchased January 2011 and printed only 5003 + pages and no problems so far. Do not throw with using more than that most just bought full set XL HP 920HP cartridges. should be possible to solve other than maintenance workshop, can buy nine being the least expensive.

  I would try the steps in Th guides, r HP Officejet 6000 (E609) and 7000 (E809) Wide Format Printer Series - an "impossible cartridge" or "incompatible cartridge" Message is displayed on the calculationand lights flashing on the HP Officejet 6000 (E609a) and 6000 (E609n) wireless printers.

  You describe it sounds like the transport has stalls and if this is the case and you are unable to find the obstruction while the transport mechanism is defective.

  If you have completed all the above steps and your product still has a problem, service the product.

  Contact HP for service in all countries except Asia-Pacific.

  First, check your product warranty to check your warranty printer status and then go to contact HP support to find an authorized dealer or to schedule a repair.

  I have an Officejet 6000 ink and i ' ts was set up to print only in black.  The other day he had run more black ink and to my great surprise, he was also out the other colors of ink.  I bought a new cartridge 920xl and to my surprise that has not fixed the problem.  So the question is that I have all the work ink cartridges can get this printer to print again... ?? .. .   I'm sorry that you are experiencing this problem with the black print cartridge and printing. You need to replace all the other cartridges so that the printer to print to.

  Some older printers mode allows to print with just black only, but it does not work. Even if you want to print in BLACK ONLY, your color cartridges still used to mix with black to form a TRUE COLOR BLACK. It's only a small amount of each used cartridge, but after awhile, it will need replaced.

  So will have to get the other cartridges back, until the printer reverts to the normal state and printing.

  Yes, you will need to replace the yellow cartridge to continue printing. Here's a good explanation of the design of the print mechanism, and what is needed to keep them in good working condition. Your printer is user replaceable print head. With this printer's ink lines that need to be filled in ink in this way that the print head should not be clogged jets in turn cause poor print quality problems.

  HP, as other printer manufacturers, offers you with permanent print heads printers requiring ink for all colors, avoid the print heads.  HP, like some other manufacturers, also offers printers with user replaceable print heads.  These may of may not require ink in all colors in print, even though damage may occur if the print from the cartridge empty.  Finally, HP as some other manufacturers also offers printers with the printhead into the ink supply.  He is replaced at each change of cartridge.  These printers will happily print with a diet low, empty or many deleted completely same models.

  When you buy your next printer (from HP or from another manufacturer) be sure that you understand what is the type of printer and choose one that fits your needs.
