  Hey,.

  I've got Premiere Pro CS6 and I started testing the use of x 264 with Dxtory. The problem I encounter is that the film is incompatible with any suite preset (AFAIK) apart from the AVC-Intra 100 (AVC-Intra 100 1080 p 30 fps is the one I am using). However when I use this preset all Preview gives me a black screen so that the audio is played perfectly. It is not urgent, because it is always possible to simply convert the movie to MP4 with Handbrake, however not being is not able to use this codec would be a shame, especially since I've seen others use it without any problem at all.

  Okay, I tweaked around and I'm happy to say that I have to work. It's really simple, all you have to do is go into the settings of codec on Dxtory for x264vfw and set the FourCC to x 264 and the GOP (Min and Max) to 1. It is not an obvious solution, so I hope that the one who has problems with this managed to find this thread

  You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

• Why my monitor goes black after a minute?

  I have my standby power setting to turn off the monitor after 15 minutes when it is plugged.  But if I don't move the mouse or press a key for a minute, the screen goes black.  It's very embarrassing, especially if I watch a video.

  Is there another setting somewhere that says monitor going black after a minute of no activity?

  Here's another setting worth it.

  Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and select Personalize.  Click the link to screensaver at the bottom right.  In the next window, adjust the time before the screensaver kicks in the drop "Wait" to a more acceptable value.  Click on apply, then Ok to save the change of the parameter.

  Apparently, this was caused by an outdated ATI graphics card driver. I recommend upgrading your graphics card driver to resolve this issue. Should work fine then

  I always get a black screen when I deploy & launch applications for the test (I use a debugging token)...
