HP Pavilion b119wm-15 Sleekboo: conflict driver Audio HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b119wm

At one point, the pilots became a problem with my laptop. I have two drivers in the Device Manager. One is AMD high definition Audio Device and the other is IDT high definition Audio CODEC. When the AMD driver is enabled, the sound on the laptop barely records. If I disable this driver then the sound is much stronger, but this configuration is no where close to what I used to hear of my altec lansing/dolby stereo speakers built-in. It's frustrating that I can't simply updated the site with the right drivers based on my particular build. If I let windows to make it... It does not simply offer what I used to have.

Second, I need to use the features of 'stereo mix' so that I can record audio "what you hear". Who does more either.

Hello:

The audio device AMD is just for the HDMI port, controlled by the amd graphics card.

The IDT HD audio device is for speakers of the laptop and use with a helmet.

So select the IDT HD audio when you use the laptop speakers.

Reinstall the sound driver of W8.1 support page for your laptop and restart the PC and see if it works on W10, since there is no W10 audio driver listed on the support page.

This package contains the driver that allows Audio IDT high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

  • The PC HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15: Blurred and static Audio after update of Windows 10

I was using Windows 10 quite a few months now with no problems. My sound has been clear until this morning when my computer automatically updated itself. After the update, I noticed that my sound (which worked perfectly fine before the update) was blurred and subdued, with a noise static when the music I listened to hit a higher mark. This had not happened before. Not until I've updated. So far, I checked to see if I need to update something new for my audio device in Device Manager, but I was told that everything is up to date.

Previously, a few years ago I had a similar problem when updating from Windows 8, but rather my audio is completely out. Waiting to see if something like that happen again. I'm not sure what to do on my audio now, but I'm afraid to uninstall my sound card where I can bring him back despite says he's coming back. In addition, I don't know what to do for my specific product. I've read that many others have had similar problems, so if someone could help me I would be very grateful.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

You said that you have restored your PC using a DVD, but HP recover media consists of a SET of DVD, not a single DVD - so I have to assume that it was NOT a support of HP recovery.

Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.

Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page. This could be an oversight by HP, or it could also mean that HP stock is no longer the recovery media for your PC. They store any long recovery media for older PCs.

You can try to contact the HP customer directly, using the links below, to see if you can order them if:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!

If HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

  • Driver audio Conexant Z50-70

    Hello

After upgrading to Windows 10 8.1, I got the driver audio conexant installed by default. I have problems with it however, it does not account for multiple inputs and outputs, cannot distinguish between the speakers and the headphones etc..

I, of course, thought the easiest way to solve this, which has been uninstalled the conexant drivers and using the realtek driver base.

Now, here's my main problem, it works until I restart the laptop, because then the audio driver conexant reinstalls automatically.

Is there a way to prevent the installation of form, or maybe a way to make the driver work correctly?

    Thank you

I know to stop the automatic driver update:

    1. click on settings/devices
    2. Select an entry such as printers and Scanners
    3. Select related parameters: devices and printers
    4. under the heading devices click on the right button the device with the name of your computer icon and select settings to set up device.
    5. Select No, let me choose what to do.
    6. Select never install driver from Windows Update.
    7. save the changes.

Once you stop the update, you can now uninstall the driver conexant present and install the realtek driver.

  • Driver Audio IDT (?) Question

I had problems with my audio on my laptop. I have a HP Envy Sleekbook m6 model m6-k010dx running on Windows Update 8.1. A few months ago, I had problems getting my audio to work. I didn't know what I was doing, so I uninstalled by mistake and/or deleted Beats Audio, as well as the IDT, which is what I think caused my IDT drivers stop working correctly in the first place.
I restarted my pc after trying to fix my audio, and he ended up telling me that I needed to update my computer. The update apparently failed, but miraculously my computer restarted a few days later. When I reviewed my files as well as all my drivers, nothing seemed wrong. However, I don't have the Beats Audio program longer, even if my IDT drivers seemed to work very well. Whenever I have try and run the beats, he told me that the startup.exe file is missing, which I suppose means it has, unfortunately, been removed.
I'm not worried about it because I guess I felt lucky to get my audio back, so I have not dug too deep so far. Yet once, I'm having a problem getting my audio to work. I went into Device Manager, and my convenience store told me that it was another problem of driver.
Yes, see no other way to go about this after trying but failing to have my computer to reinstall the driver, I uninstalled it manually; I thought that Windows would detect the missing driver and be able to solve this problem, so I rebooted and went into my device manager. Now, it gives me a different error, I have attached a screenshot. I have no idea how all of these problems, and all the help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

You can try to use the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

If this does not help, you can use the Go Back is a feature, which will return your computer to the previous operating system that was installed before you upgraded to Windows 10. That something does not work with Windows 10.

    Thank you.

Unfortunately, yours is one of the models where you have to take the laptop almost all path that starts to get hard disk. Do so would void the warranty. I'm a big advocate of the SSD, but in your case, the difficulties and probable spending cuts against the fact.

  • Upgrade hard drive HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 to SSD

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 with the following product information,

Product name: HP Pavillion Sleekbook PC 15

    Product number: C6K58EA

Will it be possible for me to upgrade my hard drive with an SSD? If so, what are the limits of the SSD that I can use?

    Thanks in advance,

    ISURU.

Yes. You can upgrade the hard drive to a mobile (laptop) SSD. The SSD must conform to the following specifications.

Hard disk, without illustration material, Kit (includes hard drive support and support)
screws, cable and 2 bumpers) HP p/n 701945-001

If your laptop is also a present SSD 32 GB mSATA, he can line be used as a disk cache via the software Intel IRST.

The disadvantage is that it is that it will violate the guarantee that the hard drive is not known by HP to be part replaceable enduser. Upgrading a laptop of this type implies a disassembly.
