  Hey! I seem to have a problem.

  I just did a clean install of Windows 7 on my HP Pavilion dv6. In the BIOS it says it's an a1u58av. (dv6t 6 c 00?)

  All those I work except for the Wifi drivers. I downloaded the ralink those, and they do not seem to work. I get the windows error message that they do not seem to be installed correctly. After several attempts, research on Google and it recharges, I still can't connect to wifi, or even find task bar icon in my status bar. Realtek LAN drivers work for the ethernet, and this is what I currently use.

• HP Pavilion dv6 keyboard works not properly

  Hello

  I use a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop running Windows 7 for about a year and a half.  Recently (I can't say exactly when) I noticed that my keyboard does not work properly.  There is nothing huge, but sometimes I have to push a button twice before she will comply, or it will be delayed in its response.  Another thing is that I originally used to have to hold the function key and press the space bar at the same time turn off the light that surrounds the touchpad. Now, I just simply press the function key (not now) and, no matter how many other keys I press on in the meantime, the next time that I press the space bar, the light turns off.  It's both distracting and frustrating because I need to press the space bar to operate normally.

  My drivers are all up to date.  I tried to remove them and reinstall them. I changed a few settings in the Bios, and then reset the default settings, all to nothing does not.  I would appreciate any idea or you guys can offer me solutions.

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP Pavilion dv6 and keyboard problems. Here is a link to uninstall the keyboard. Restart the computer after the uninstall, it must be reinstalled automatically.

  Have you tried to take a little air to the keyboard to see if maybe it's dust or debris which initially are intermittent use?

• Logitech software unifyier do not see a receiver is connected and so I can't pair the keyboard and mouse to the computer.

  I bought a logitech keyboard and mouse.

  I contacted support and they work in another machine (vista), they say, that there is an error on this machine.
  When the connection to the wireless receiver, it shows and installs in windows 7 64 bit home edition premium, however, unifyier of logitech software can not see a receiver is connected and so I cant pair the keyboard and mouse to the computer.
  I've tried different usb, front and rear ports and USB 2.0 and 3.0, but there is no change.
  Any ideas how to get this to work on windows 7 that I checked and the devices are compatible with my version of windows

• HP Pavilion DV6 6120us does not completely close

  My HP Pavilion DV6 6120us crashes during stop. Windows looks like it goes through the process of closing and the screen goes black but the border mouse pad remains on and wifi (f12) button goes orange. The only way to close it completely is to hold the power for a few seconds. Once I start it again, it said that Windows was not shut down properly. After a few days ago, now the laptop battery is not detected.

  I went into the BIOS and run the embedded memory test and hard drive, but both passed. I haven't done a reinstall of Windows, but the battery problem now I think it could be the motherboard, but I hope that it is something else, because it is out of warranty. I am running Windows 7 family SP1 64-bit edition.

  I've seen a few posts on this forum with the same symptoms, but it never seems to be solutions. Any help is appreciated.

  I'm sorry to hear that you both have the same problem with your HP Pavilion dv6-6120us Entertainment Notebook PC computer to not stop correctly. I have things that you can try before you commit a material error.

  First of all, I would like to you follow the steps in the HP Support document: performing a hard reset or forced to reset.

  Secondly, I would like to try a stop with ALL USB devices disconnected from your computer.

  Thirdly, I would like to allow you to start your computer in Mode safe. You can do so by following the steps in the HP Support document: Windows 7 Safe Mode and once it is completely started to stop him. If it stops correctly we have driver problem and I would like you to use the HP support document: use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7) to load the original drivers supplied with your computer. Make sure that you start with the Chipset drivers and install ALL the drivers available. DO NOT RUN UPDATES! Now try to shut down your computer.   If the value using the HP recovery discs you created when you first parameters for your computer or HP recovery disc set ordered you to HP, you shouldn't need all drivers to return the computer to a factory State.

  I have a Pavilion dv6-1030 ca laptop, and since a few weeks, I had trouble with my webcam. When I open the HP MediaSmart Webcam, I get the following error message: "no video device detected.   Don't pay fees to repair overpriced... it happened to dv6 my boss, lift just the frame surrounding the top and sides.  You don't need a crowbar on the bottom of the frame.  Use your nails under the inside edge of the frame, they have adhesive tape double-sided, so it can be a little difficult to dislodge.  Lift slowly so that the band can separate on its own.  Don't force quickly or you could damage it.  Make sure you are not prying the metal frame silver of the LCD, only the black plastic frame.  There are hooks plastic that will make a click sound when you lift up the frame, it will need a strength, so don't be afraid if you hear the wink, he should be able to put it back together if you did it correctly, otherwise you will need to use some tape to tape the rear frame, better than paying $100 +... haha.  Once you have pryed on the top of the frame and have access to the webcam module, you should see the cable going into it from the bottom, push the cable into the webcam, then see if the problem is resolved, the cable most likely just came loose.  If that solved the problem, I suggest to use something you can remove, as hot glue to hold it together, just in case the webcam really needs to be replaced, you can melt the glue wide and swap out.

  If your microphone works very well and just the webcam does not work, then the problem is most likely a driver problem, or the webcam itself somehow has been damaged, which is highly unlikely.

  Yes you can try to identify the hardware info induvidually and download the drivers from the website of its manufacturer, it may or may not work.

  The best way is to restore the operating system to the factory delivered one, so it shouldn't have any problems with the NB.

• DirecTV DVR not seeing internet via router TC

  I installed a modem Arris SB6183 on Comcast xfinity network.  The modem is turned on and connected to the network, xfinity without problem.  All my other devices connected to the TC and could see the internet without problem.  (Though, as I write this I realize that they were all apple devices.)  However my Directv DVR (HR44-500) did not see the internet via the wireless or ethernet cable.  My TC is a 3 TB A1470.  The installer has been in DHCP + NAT.  I also tried to give Directv a (local) fixed IP which address found DVR, but still couldn't find the internet.  When I plugged the DVR directly to the SB6183, without going through the TC, he saw the internet seems to indicate a problem of TC.

  After a few days of futile efforts, I have reconnected the router xfinity and replace the TC in Bridge mode.  Everything is working now and the DVR sees the internet, but I'm still pay Comcast 10 $par month to rent their modem.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  You need to clarify a few things.

  I would expect questions for Internet access to the DVR by the TC without doing manual port forwarding. The DVR itself must be connected to the internet as long as you have the correct values for IP etc. Although I suspect that ipv6 might complicate the situation.

  If the DVR awaits UPNP router compatible... the TC is a failure. Apple is not compatible UPNP, adopting instead their own port open NAT - PMP protocol which is limited to most of the time the Apple products.

  To get out, you need to return to the configuration without your xfinitiy router... and give us a stack of screenshot... To see the complete configuration of the RECORDER and the TC... screenshots are the best way to do it.

  DNS, in particular, can be a problem... so make sure you use Google public DNS on the DVR and see if that helps.

  Any other suggestions we really need to see all your settings...

  Some screenshots of a working Mac or iPad would also show the configuration of a unit of work... rather than the DVR has failed.

  I would suggest you try a slight variation on the first two methods.
  
  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.

  Right-click on the Audio display Intel entry and select uninstall - this time check the confirmation box to remove the driver and continue the uninstall.

  Then, right-click on the IDT device and select uninstall - for this entry, also check the box confirmation to remove the driver and uninstalling.

  Once completed, restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation. Once done, restart the laptop.

  Any improvement?

  I was given a Hp pavilion Dv6 some time ago and I tried to run but I don't know what's wrong with him

  I understand that after upgrade to Windows 10 of Windows 7 that you had problems with the laptop.  You tried to return to your original operating system, but was invited to the disc that you did not.  Then, you used a Windows 7 disc to reinstall the operating system.

  If you do not format the drive and remove the recovery partition, you can use it to perform a recovery to factory.  If you format the disk and the partition has been deleted and you need to contact HP support to acquire a laptop HP recovery kit.
