HP Pavilion g7 recovery questions

Hello

I plan to do a factory reset on my HP Pavilion g7, because the pilots somehow began to disturb, reinstall the original drivers does not resolve this problem, so I have a few questions:

How do I know that the recovery programs were not damaged, while I won't have problems when the recovery is complete?

I have updated BIOS with HP Support Manager a month ago, the recovery also moved the original driver for BIOS?

I can make the recovery of a battery in the laptop or I have to remove and do as the tank adapter?

How long it takes for this process to be done (approx.)?

Can I keep recovery (D and HP_TOOLS (E after recovery?))

This recovery will really put me on the language selection screen, after it's done and instal lall, the pilots and the original software?

Do I need Internet while doing a recovery?

Please help me.

How do I know that the recovery programs were not damaged, while I won't have problems when the recovery is complete? Use recovery disk series or usb recovery media that you should have right there.

I have updated BIOS with HP Support Manager a month ago, the recovery also moved the original driver for BIOS? A recovery will have no effect on the BIOS.

I can make the recovery of a battery in the laptop or I have to remove and do as the tank adapter? No recoveries with the AC adapter.

How long it takes for this process to be done (approx.)? Depends on the media you use. If you use a usb recovery media is fast enough. Maybe an hour. If you use recovery DVD, so maybe it will take two hours or more. If you perform a recovery from Windows, you may have one or two hours.

Can I keep recovery (D and HP_TOOLS (E after recovery?)) It would be a wise thing to do. Consider the fact that neither score is actually a lot of space on your hard drive.

This recovery will really put me on the language selection screen, after it's done and instal lall, the pilots and the original software? the recovery will be in the default language for portable computer was shipped with. It will install the drivers, but not necessarily all applications. and then it also depends on the type of recovery you have chosen.

Do I need Internet while doing a recovery? No.

Please help me.

You probably will not see my previous post because I think that I added it to a question, rather than to make a post - you know how we newbies are. I was able to solve the problem of not being able to make a pf my Pavilion P6267 recovery because I got was a black screen when I pressed F9 at startup. I found that, under control panel, recovery, recovery tools advanced, there is the possibility of creating a recovery disk. The option supports only USB memory sticks, so had better have a couple on hand :-) Of course I didn't read it that closely at first, and I jumped my CD in the drive and waited, waited and waited. Then I went back and read that he needed a memory stick. Boy, I felt stupid. Well, I think I'm getting better started on recovery. I have to stay up tonight until it is done, the necessary program installed, the database for this program on one of 5 external hard drives and the latest medical data for 2013 entered in the database because my husband wants to do taxes this weekend. Since we had more than $20 000.00 sundries (right, the company paid more than $ 1 million), we really need to be able to get this information back, then quickly, so that we can apply it to the tax return. Have a nice weekend - after finding this recovery option, the mine will be certainly more pleasant it looked like about 30 minutes ago! Janice

  • Hp pavilion elite hpe-570f system recovery question

I'm having all sorts of problems trying to do a reinstall my hp pavilion elite hpe-570f system. I'm trying to use the recovery partition. I can get to options and don't start the process, no problem. He has even reformat the hard drive. The problem arises when relocation of the factory software. Usually, it hangs at 1% until the screen loses the signal and that's it. I have disconnecged everything - including the usb keyboard and mouse on the last attempt - but the most I ever got was 35% before the screen loses the signal and nothing else happens. I thought that if I left him alone, he would install completely, but this last time I left for almost 4 days and still not install. Advice?

Given that it was me that pisses off the coast, I purchased a retail version of windows 7 unlimited and tried. The same problem. Bought a new motherboard - and the case since the case of HP is designed to put another issue - and he moved very well. Have not had any problems of video card. It seems therefore that the cause of this whole ordeal was the motherboard.

  • Pavilion m6 1045dx recovery questions

I had received a message that my hard drive is likely to fail. I had not created a before recovery flash disk (stupid, I know) so I made a. When you try to boot from the USB, I get the error "you are not able to restore the system with the media".

Before that, I tried to make an image of my drive to an external HD. After many hours, it has no (I think because of the compromised internal HD).

I have run chkdsk on the drive several times, but it is not enough to correct the problem.

I can still boot to Windows 7 on the laptop, but I don't know where to go from here. I would like to avoid having to reinstall everything from scratch, but that's perhaps what I'm stuck doing. In addition, it seems I have to buy another copy of Windows 7, since the recovery flash drive does not work. Any ideas or suggestions?

Here is a link to the file .iso image official Digital River Microsoft of Win7 HP 64 bit with SP1 already included.

    http://MSFT.digitalrivercontent.NET/win/X17-58997.ISO

It of an .iso (DVD image) and must be burned to a DVD using the software special .iso. Nero would do it or there are free applications for Windows. Use my recorder .iso. Your laptop is probably always able to bury a .iso to a DVD.

It's Windows 7 only you will need to add drivers and programs you want, but what I said at least will get you running on a hard drive of nu. You will have to plug your key Code to activate this facility and it may require the use of the phone MS activation but it works and is legal.

  • HP Pavilion a620n: System Recovery question

I turned on the computer and got a black screen with an error that read the file \system32\hal.dll missing. Could not start. Did a system restore and now the computer starts but I can't load a lot of Web sites without the update to Windows XP SP3. Also got a new OdiAPI.dll error not found.  Is it possible to get the necessary system updates as Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP and my computer is not compatible with Windows 8?

  • HP Pavilion G6 1283SL & questions Atheros AR9285

    Hello

you have a problem with the laptop from my friend who drives me crazy. Laptop HP Pavilion G6 1283 SL (Win 7 64-bit), malfunctioning adapter is Atheros AR9285.

Last night, she confirmed a HP Support Assistant update automatic and just after that, its wireless card has stopped working. LED light is always blue and the map looks like perfectly beautiful and functional - cell "sees", the drivers are up to date, everything is fine. It simply does not connect to the WiFi connection, Red Cross on the wifi icon.

I tried every possible solution: first of all, any combination of 'reboot - replace the drivers - download drivers', and then abruptly deleting everything about Atheros using ZSoft Uninstaller and reinstall all the drivers fresh and new. Still nothing. Then, I tried to perform a system restore, and any time I choose, laptop was never completed because of a problem of 'missing file' generic. Has opened a whole new chapter, I checked for viruses, malwares and stuff, laptop is now cleaner than ever, still no recovery and again, no Atheros card work (I mean: it works for Win, but it doesn't actually).

Please do not suggest me some "uninstall - reinstall - select X - enable-reboot" solution because 99.9%, I have already tried. Read almost any topic related to card wifi Atheros or Pavillion G6 questions, here and on the net.

The only remaining solution is replacement of the card or formatting of the laptop? Needless to say, this is a ridicolous pretty outrageous waste of time (and money, perhaps). She needs her laptop for her job, and for some a matter of update of HP, she loses of fact already two days to solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Colin

    Problem solved (by myself)!

Apparently uninstall ZoneAlarm by using a "deep" uninstall program has solved the problem. After awhile, a new wifi Win miniport emerged in wifi card and Device Manager began looking for networks and our network connection to domestic.

  • Pavilion p6610: recovery program Restore Points is no longer works after AOL System Mechanic ran on my computer

I have Pavilion p6610 desktop Win 7 Home premium 64 bit I have cleaned my computer, tune, Defrag, ran MS fixit, ran malware removal, called internet provider for bad connection (buffering, etc.) they said it was a software program interfering with my ability to computers to have full access to the output of my modem , (only 2 bars on the taskbar icon) so I gave in and decided to try the AOL System Mechanic. Ran all the tools last night, then stop. I tried to open documents of MS today (15/10/2015) will not open. Could not open one of my components of the Microsoft Office 2010 Starter program.  Canceled AOL system mechanic. Removed uninstalled from my system.  Tried 3 different restore point dates back to the 27/09/2015.  None worked. Can't use my program of recovery restore point!

I don't want to have to reformat and start all over again. I thought that AOL Sys.Mech done something in the registry that messed with the start of Microsoft Office 2010 (can't find a more free?) but why we don't joke about my restore points?  I can't restore anything from my computer.  I don't know if something's going to come to work anymore. How can I fix it?

Thanks for any help you can provide...

    Hi @TY965

I understand that you are not able to use restore points, and that you are having problems with a certain software factory installed on your HP System. I'm happy to help you with this.

As a first step, you can try using the Recovery Manager and see if the software is among those available from your original image to install instead of a full factory image installation. See the following document that shows how to do this.

Computers HP - using Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7)

Then, to the question of the restoration of the system, maybe try to use SFC/scannow, as described below. The second page includes more specific details to a problem of system restore.

Use the File Checker system to repair missing or corrupted system files - support.microsoft.com

    Difficulty: System Restore does not not in Windows 10 / 8 / 7 -thewindowsclub.com

I would like to know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, then please mark this message as a solution. Kudos are also becoming popular.

  • Pavilion: Support recovery - so frustrated!

My 13 month old Pavilion had a complete hard drive failure.  He was replaced by Best Buy (two weeks out of warranty) so that the cost of the hard drive... but HP says I have to pay for the recovery media.  I get that he died two weeks too late and they stand by their product after the window of 12 months... but I need to pay for the recovery media to never use their product?  Is it his right or have I missed a place where I can access the media I need to get up and running?  This week two outside the warranty thing makes me sick.  The supplement is just me then once I'm down. Anyone know of any other option?

And Yes, I know now that I had to create the recovery media myself.  I did not start the system... I'm just in the face of his untimely death.  (But I did run home and create a backup for my personal systems recovery media.  (Thank you!)

  • HP Pavilion system recovery partition deleted 15-e054se

My mom bought my laptop in the last Kuwait September 2013 and she brought here in the Philippines in October. last night, while I tried to install an update of my bluetooth driver, I met an error which caused my laptop restart and restart continuously. I tried to reset my laptop via the reset option, but it has encountered an error during the process, and the following error that prompted was "boot device not found. Please install an operating system"or something... in the meantime, I started to freak out already and I thought of simply replacing the windows 8 with a windows 7. so, I went ahead and install windows 7 on my laptop. After installing successfully, I noticed that my drivers are not installed, even my wireless and wired lan... my problem is the following: during the installation of windows 7, I was asked to format ALL my partitions. long story short, the recovery of the system partition was deleted in order for me to install windows 7. When I tried to search for drivers for my hardware compatible with windows 7, I could not found. I mean, I've found a few, but they do not installed correctly. So I have 2 questions...

    1: are there drivers available in windows 7 that are compatible with the specifications of my laptop (HP Pavilion 15-e054se)? and;

    Hello:

    Answers...

    1 Yes there is.

You can use all the W7 x 64 drivers and software of this model except the audio.

DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4063&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=5278311

Audio: Accept the agreement. Download and install the second on the list (W7 x 64)

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=24&PFID=24&level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GETDOWN=false

    2. you can no longer make a W8 recovery disk, because you deleted the recovery partition.

If you want to reinstall W8, you can try this...

Upload this W8 OEM ISO file from the link below.

    https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B0W9PBigPy94aVJWSndyTFNFMzg/edit?PLI=1

Then use this tool to make the downloaded ISO file on a key USB 4 GB or DVD bootable.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

The W8 product key encrypted in the BIOS should fill the W8 installation and automatically activate.

  • Pavilion a1203w recovery

I was doing a recovery on my Hp Pavilion a1203w with the HP recovery discs and disc 1 installation the computer was switched off accidentally, now when he started runs automatically to disk 1 and don't never stop even if the disk is in our. also, now the keyboard does not work so that I can change the options of ESC, F1 or on other sectors. The computer will not beyond commissioning. Any suggestions on what to do...

It might be fun to fix this, but it is indeed questionable. Support for Win XP (the a1203w is circa 2005) ends 08/04/2014. If you have a project, the only way to start-over would be pre format the hard drive. Because it's an EIDE/PATA, you can use this adapter to get in shape. I hope that the operating system will then install.

  • Windows 8 Pavilion g6 recovery disk

I am unable to create a recovery disc for HP Pavilion g6.  Can only run in safe mode, can't run the system restore or recovery without getting the error code 80070490.

If I do not run in Office safe mode keeps flashing market and I can't access anything. This question seemed to occur immediately after a windows update.

Is it possible to create recovery discs using another model HP running Windows 7?

When you request support, please provide the number full name or product model of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.

The information requested above are on the bottom of your computer, inside the battery compartment or on the BIOS boot screen. Please DO NOT include your serial number. Please enter the product/model information consumer HP Online Support page and post it here for our review.

NO, it is not possible to create a recovery media HP for this model on a different computer. When you first set up your computer, you must have created your personal HP recovery media. If you don't create HP recovery media, please contact the official HP support in your region / country, via the HP portal to support all over the world, to see if the HP recovery support is available for your computer.

Have you tried "F11" or "ESC" and "F11" to the power upward? Have you tried a Windows Update, reset or restore via the options of UEFI?

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

There have always been differences between Windows Desktop shortcut keys and shortcut keys (function) for laptop.  Notebook function keys are coded in the BIOS.

You are supposed to use the recovery media creator to create a copy of the operating system, drivers and HP software. This is your copy of the operating system. You can use media reecovery on your laptop when it is repaired.

The downside is that you lose the functionality of F11 Recovery Manager it may be easier to just install a larger hard drive and perform a recovery of image factory via the Recovery Manager.
