HP Pavilion m94021: boot floppies do not match computer

Some years, I bought a desktop computer HP Pavilion back to Office Depot.  They MADE the disks to start for me.  Now, I have a new hard drive and I put in the first boot floppies and he whirred around for awhile, looking as if she was doing something, and then I got the message that the boot floppies do not go with the computer.

I have an external hard drive and backup Carbonite on that hard drive that takes pictures of the system and the files are saved on their web site.  So far, they were not able to restore my system from the external hard drive, so I'm up to their highest level of technical support trying to figure how to get the operating system of the external hard drive to my new hard drive.

HP support wants me $150 for access to my external hard drive to get the operating system to load, but Carbonite said HP will not be able to do that because the external hard drive has a proprietary of Carbonite on her HP technicians will not be able to work around.

The model number of my computer is m94021.  I had on this operating system is Microsoft Windows 7 Professional.

It seems you are running a software fake Antivirus or fake-SystemRestoration. They pay for nothing, and often their so-called problems reported are false also.
You should get a decent Antivirus software and check your computer against viruses and malware.

    Hi all

    I have a MacBook Pro 13 ", beginning 2011, 8.1.

I changed the hard drive with a Samsung SSD 850 EVO and installed the OSX El Capitan 10.11.4 Version (15E65) with a clean install (format, then install).

After that, I noticed that my fans are working more than usual. So I checked the SMC and EFI.

When I check the presentation of the material, here's what I find:

    Model identifier: MacBookPro8, 1

    Boot ROM version: MBP81.0047.B2C

Version of the SCM (System): 1.68f99

But it seems my SMC and EFI firmware do not match Apple list/recommendation:

  • Portege 7020 error message: PXE - E01 PCI vendor and device ID do not match

    Hi all

I get this error message (ID PXE - E01 PCI vendor and device do not match) when starting, when I use my portege 7020CT on a cd-docking station. The error message occurs only when I boot with the power adapter.
I know what means the error message, and I tried to change the boot priority and the BIOS update. None of that helped him. I can't say when the error occurred since I used a LAN card wireless for a long time.
The ethernet LAN for now, so im card dosnt work using an ethernet pccard.

Toshiba has released a "patch" for this problem but only with the station of transhipment on the DVD, I also tried, but it didn't work either.

What seems strange is why the problem only occurs when the power supply is turned on?
When the message appears, the screen is locked and I can not pass.

    hope someone can help me.
    / Dreadeye

    Hello

Well, you're right. This message is displayed if it of not possible to boot from LAN.
In this case, it s advisable to change the boot priority.
But it seems that you have already tried to change this option. It s very strange questions because it s occurs only if the power supply is turned on.
I n t really have no idea, but I found this site:

    http://support.Intel.com/support/network/adapter/1000/sb/CS-010508.htm

Try installing the latest Boot Agent. I put t know if it helps but you can try it.

    Good luck

  • Mouse BT is not matching in Windows 10

    Hello

I hope this is the right place to ask this question, since it's on windows (but on my Mac)

My problem is that my refuses to mouse (mouse Microsoft Comfort Sculpt) pair Bluetooth in Windows 10 (installed Boot Camp), while it works perfectly under OS X.

What I do in the Windows 10:

I start Windows, open settings - box Bluetooth, then turn on my mouse, then press on and has held the key "pairing" on this subject. The mouse appears on the list of discovered devices, I select "Even" and after a second or two Windows says "could not match, try again and make sure that the mouse is detectable again" the mouse disappears from the list and is not seen again here until I have restart Windows. I repeated this dozens of times without success procedure; I ran all the possible troubleshooting utilities - without success. I even downloaded and installed "Keyboard and mouse Center", but it obviously doesn't work because the mouse must be matched first to do the job of 'Center '. I contacted Microsoft, they suggested that I should find a suitable driver for my Bluetooth adapter, but the only driver I could find is dated the internal Apple Broadcom BT card driver, if I'm not mistaken, July 2015.

I really need to make it work in Windows 10, because I have to work a lot in this OS and I prefer to use a Bluetooth mouse (not necessarily the real mouse, but since it works under OS X, even if I buy another mouse, there no guarantee that it will work in Windows 10).

    So, two questions:

    1. How can I make my current work (MS Sculpt Comfort Mouse) mouse in Windows 10?

    2. are there other BT mice who do you think is more likely to be achievable in Windows 10

(I don't really want to buy Apple Magic Mouse - I prefer a traditional wheel 2 buttons + scroll mouse)

How do you normally run Windows on your Mac? You start in Windows only using Boot Camp or you run Windows and OS X both at the same time using Parallels or Fusion?

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
    2. What is the version of the operating system that you are using?

I suggest that you try following the steps mentioned below, that if you use Windows Vista and Windows 7 and check to see if it helps.

Step 1: Check in SafeMode with network.

You can also check if the problem persists in safe mode with network and check.

    Reference:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

If you are able to see the start icon, then executes the method 2.

Step 2: Perform a clean boot and check.

To help resolve the error message, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to start your computer in normal mode by following step 7.

  • "The file is maybe damaged. The file header checksum does not match the checksum calculated. »

    Hello

I work with a HP Pavilion a6030n PC with Vista OS base. I had problems with the computer recently when starting. He continues to work at some point during the process and crash, forcing a hard stop. I'm not too computer savvy, but can generally work through questions. I tried several (and probably useless) methods to try to get the computer to work, with a modicum of success. Today, I received this message: "the file is maybe damaged. The file header checksum does not match the checksum calculated. "Hmmm... I looked through the forums and found a lot of computer-speak, who basically told me that I'm over my head. I thought that I would try at least ask the question before resorting to what is the hard drive a person to fix if all goes well.
I can get it working again, or is my HP to his last breath?
    Thank you!

If warnings getting You ' r files are corrupted, which could indicate a problem with the hard drive (most likely) or the memory/RAM in the computer (a little less likely but a good possibility).  Your computer came with a disk diagnostic or diagnostic software you can run to test the components inside?  You can also download this software and run it to see if he can help you narrow the possibilities.  Otherwise, I recommend to find a local repairman good and trustworthy and have them check for you if you are not adept at hardware troubleshooting.  It can get very frustrating and very expensive, very quickly.

    Hey James,.

I does no change, I didn't download a document from my email (from a sender of confidence). I tried to start in safe mode, just, it restarts and goes back to the corrupted checksum display... Last known good config was the same result! The only error message is one that is in the title of this post, not others. Another detail, that I forgot to add is that it does not get insofar as a logo windows before it fails, just the toshiba start screen, then either passes the corrupt message checksum or a blue screen and restarts before I can read the text on the blue screen. Thanks for your response! Any additional help would be excellent if you can. In the meantime, I'll try your methods. Thanks again
OK, I have now managed a Startup Repair trying over and over again. Restore all settings and now looks very good, thanks for your help!

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem, it seems that you are facing the question with the reinstallation of Windows 7 on your computer.

Because the computer does not recognize the CD - R into the DVD player probably boot order is set to hard drive first. I suggest to change the DVD boot priority in the BIOS and then try to perform the Startup Repair.

Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

In order to make changes in the BIOS, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the computer.

    Method 1:

Unplug all external devices connected to the computer with the exception of the keyboard and mouse and check if the problem persists.

    M odes 2:

If the problem persists try the Startup Repair. It is one of the recovery tools in the System Recovery Options menu. This set of tools is on your computer's hard disk and on the Windows installation disc. To learn more about Startup Repair , you can refer to the below mentioned article:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/Startup-Repair-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 3:

In addition, if startup repair is not enough, you can perform a system restore, check if it helps you to solve the problem. For reference, you can see the article mentioned below.

What are the system recovery options in Windows 7?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7

Note: when you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

    Kind regards
