  I upgraded the os to my laptop HP Pavilion 15-n259tx windows 8.1(in-built) Windows 10 a few days ago. Win 10 works well. But yesterday, I noticed that there is no software for my graph RAEDON AMD (TM) HD 8670 M. card so I open the AMD website, find my graphics card software and install it. But at the end of installation, I noticed that the brightness of my screen become maximum. And I can't control it by the default keys f2 / f3. After that keys, no effect takes place. Today, I uninstalled this driver AMD RAEDON (TM). But still the problem persists. Help, please.

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook 15-n259tx and problems with the brightness. You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

  Here is a document that shows how update the drivers that do not work correctly with Windows 10.

  Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that may need updating.

  I tried the following on a machine not that different to yours and it seems to work.

  First, download the Synaptics driver on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Disable your wireless card (should be f12).

  Open Control Panel, open programs and features, right click on the Synaptics driver and select uninstall.

  When you are done, reboot the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder and launch the installer of Synaptics - when this is complete, restart the computer again.

  Open the Synaptics settings panel, disable SmartSense, then check if the touchpad works now with a key on the keyboard is pressed.

  If so, turn on your wireless card and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the Synaptics driver.

  I got this laptop PC in 2012, it is a series of G7, I'm pretty sure. My problem is that when I turn the computer off and turn it back on, there is no option to open the menu of the bios (esc) or any option besides. Just a symble blue HP directly in the middle of the screen with a symbol of little loading below him. I pressed ESC, f1 - f10 and virtually all other keys to try to access it. What I really want to do is to disable most annoying f1 - f12 function keys.

  I'm no longer under warranty and my operating system is Windows 8.  There is also no error at all, just no response what that's right don't charge up to login password screen.

  I see that you are looking to access the BIOS of your laptop Pavilion. You can't access BIOS in the same way on Windows 8, because you have a faction of a second to get the right timing because of the quick loading of Windows 8 feature. This third party link will show you how to access the UEFI that will lead to the BIOS. You can also do it from the Windows 8 login screen as this Microsoft link will show.   The problem you are having, it is that the video card requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released in February 2012.  You must contact the Technical Support of Zotac to see if they have a VBIOS update that will solve your problem.

Your system uses only the Intel driver high definition (HD). Here is the download if you needsp68117.exe. I uninstall Nvidia and reboot the laptop.
