• Photosmart Plus B209a not printing yellow

  My Photosmart B209a more doesn't seem to be printing yellow. First thought was a lock, but have changed the cartridge, as it was low in any case, it is still not printing yellow. Any thoughts?

  Problem is now fixed, just need to clean the print head. I always thought that the print head is part of the cartridge, in order to change the cartridge, I changed the printhead. It turns out that that is not the case!

• HP Photosmart Plus will not print in black

  Black ink cartridge replaced with 564 XL that I ordered from the HP website.  A ran the test page and got a blank page.  Print heads cleaned twice and still nothing.  Black ink was replaced by another new cartridge that I ordered from the HP website.  Still nothing in black.  Printing color works very well, but nothing black.

  Any ideas?

  Printer is out of warranty and HP Customer Service wants to charge me $24 to see if they can fix it.

• Photosmart 6510 does not print in black

  My photosmart 6510 does not print in black. I presume that it was the cartridge but I replaced the cartridge and it still does not print. I cleaned the print heads and the cartridge ink levels are full.

  The printhead, cleaning of the screen failed touchscreen printer running.  But when I sat down at my computer and used the program utility printing, he did.  I ran an initial print head cleaning my computer and then clicking the button indicating that the print heads were NOT clean.  He then ran a deep cleansing process.  Then I lined up the printheads of the same print utility program.  Now it works!

  My HP Photosmart C6380 will not print whole pages.  Some lines close to the end of the page are not printed.  From time to time, it prints the whole page.

  I see that you are working with a Photosmart C6380 and sometimes it seems not to print the whole page and other times he does it. I'd love to help you find a solution to this problem

  To start, you are able to print an extended self-assessment report and it came out completely, or if you make a copy of a complete page, never there issues? This will contribute essentially to determine if it is the hardware or software, but since it seems to be sporadic we are not able to limit too much more.   Hello, I got the printer above for about 4 years with no problems. He suddenly started printing blank pages. I went through all the cleaning cycles, alignment etc., but without success. I bought a new genuine HP print head and installed new cartridges and still once, it prints blank pages. The message I get is that alignment process has failed. Does this mean the printer is down and I'll have to buy a new one, or can you suggest a solution? I went through all the steps suggested for this type of printer on your forum, but I still get blank pages. It is a disaster for me and my wife whose work depends on the network printer.   Given you have changed the print head and the problem persists, according to me, maybe it's time to consider a replacement printer.

  Alignment is a failure because the printer does not black. If you have followed all the steps in the following document, it might be time to give us a call to weigh your replacement options: HP Photosmart Plus B210 printer - color or black ink not print.

  If the problem persists, what you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

  Hello.  I tried to look for the answer and everything went over my head.  I have a Photosmart Plus B209 printer connected to a laptop Mac with OS X 10.4.11.  I've done through the installation until the part of wireless connection.  This is where to get this screen:

  

  I use an Apple Airport Extreme Wireless router.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  The printer works fine connected via USB.

  If you have a 7520 Photosmart all-in-one that doesn't seem to not want to print on color construction paper? Because the product is to feed the paper in the paper tray but isn't actually put ink on the page is does not seem to be a problem with the book itself and not filling not the management of specifications that your printer takes in charge for a type of paper.

  According to the specifications of 7520 Photosmart it can handle:

  • Types of media supported: Paper (brochure, inkjet, ordinary), photo paper, envelopes, labels, cards (greeting), transparent
  • Supported media formats: Letter, legal, 4 x 6, 5 x 7 in., 8 x 10, no. 10 envelopes
  • Recommended weight: 16-80 lbs.

  You know the exact weight of the construction paper?

  Your printer will print on other media, such as plain white paper or photo paper glossy with no problems?

• Photosmart C6300 does not print on my Mac since I put in a new ink cartridge.

  My photo ink cartridge was low, so I put in a new HP photo cartridge.  Now my printer does not print on my Mac.  Just paper goes through and come out blank.  I turned it still works, but not printing.  I got taken out and back again without success.  Also, I restarted my computer without no printing.  I tried a test message, but still no printing.  I don't know what to do about it.

  This seems to be a common problem for these printers.  Rank of ink so I bought new cartridges and everything prints fine except for blacks.  Diagnosis of print quality page show an empty bar for black.  The cartridges are brand new inks authentic HP.  Thought maybe I had a bad so I bought another black cartridge and same problem.  Have done some research and I saw that a few people had succeeded by soaking the cartridges in the hot water.  Tried it with hot water from the tap for 15 minutes and it will always print in black.  I cleaned the print head 5 times but still nothing.  Warranty expired on 24-03-14.  So 9 months warranty and I have an anchor instead of a printer.  Help please.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are facing some print quality problems on your HP Photosmart 6520, you cannot print in black ink.

  I wish you continue troubleshooting here: printer does not print black ink or color of ink or prints blank Pages, I understand, you may have made some of these steps already but I need you to complete all the steps in order to solve the problem of the missing black, you encounter.

  Please note: there are three stages of print head cleaning. Three steps if necessary. If the print head is badly clogged, it may require another round of cleaning. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last step of cleaning (third) to start the first stage of the cleanup process.

  If you are unable to print in black ink, I think that the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. I highly recommend call you our technical support at the 800-474-6836, I'm sure they will be able to help you regardless of the status of the guarantee.
