HP Photsmart C4583 all in a cartridge number

First of all I can't find the C4583 on the HP website.  I guess the closest is the C4580.

I recently bought a (350 HP) ink cartridge that is supposed to be compatible with the machine (or at least with the C4580 - again once I could not find any cartridge with C4583 listed on the side).  However, it is to be rejected (Incompatible print cartridge).

Can anyone confirm that this is the right cartridge for the C4583 all in one model?

Thank you

Hello

As you are based in the United Kingdom, the compatible cartridges are

HP350 or HP350XL (black)

HP351 or HP351XL (color)

HP348 (Photo)

You will need to contact the helpline about this, because you might need to reset the region.

Hope this helps,

    Hello

Looks like you did the correct steps to try to resolve the problem. If you did all the steps on the below link without resolving the issue, the hardware may be damaged.

  • new out of the box, all the ink cartridges damaged or missing error 8500

So, I just got the officejet pro 8500 wireless. follow the instructions in game. at the start he said that ALL the ink cartridges are missing or damaged. I have a hard time believing that, if something is down or I missed something very basic in the installation program.

I tried to remove the cartridges and re - install. Also checked that they are in the correct order. Don't know what to try next.

Well he chalked it up to random mishap. I installed the software to see if she said something more useful. not a lot, but he pointed out that he was missing all the cartridges. I went back and exchanged the printer. the replacement is fine.

  • HP ENVY 4500 e-all-in-one: cartridges and country

    History:

My father-in-law is living in Belgium, near the border.  He went to Holland for shopping sow, a promotion for a HP Envy printer and purchased.  Simple.  Then when I was visiting him, he asked me to install the printer.  I tried and it sucked!

Following the installation guide (a double-sided with only the images page), I removed the protection, under voltage, chose my country (Belgium), discovered the heads of cartridges and insert cartridges.  But the printer screen showed a message explaining that the cartridges were not intended for this printer.  They came out of the box the printer!

So time to seek the support of troubleshooting.  And I found this page http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02558798 explaining all the evils that you get if you cross a border with a HP product!

Assuming that the problem is related to this wonderful device...

WHY should I select a country?

WHY is there no clear warning on the box as 'to be used only for the Netherlands?

If the problem has some other cause...

WHERE can I find real support of troubleshooting?

    Conclusion:

    What is the lesson?

So far: do not buy the product HP more

While HP regionalize some inkjet products, the Belgium and the Netherlands are in the same region and use the same cartridges HP 301 in the Envy 4500 printer.

The question that you see is unrelated to the regionalization.  It is possible, that there is one grain of paper dust or other debris on the electrical contacts.  I would suggest the steps of troubleshooting in the paper here.  If this does not resolve the issue please contact HP.

  • H OfficeJet Pro 8710: could all really short cartridges at the same time?

I recently bought a new printer HP 8710.  I always used cartridges supplied with the machine when I bought it.  I received a lot of messages that the ink was low.  Since I have very rarely print in color, I assumed it was the black cartridge.  Of course, it stopped printing in black at Midway through a print using black only job.  I replaced the black cartridge, but the machine kept giving me a message that says that it would not print until a low cartridge has been replaced.  After a while, I noticed that there was a small point yellow, so I replaced the yellow cartridge.  Then I got the same message with a small red dot, so I replaced that one.  Then I got - you guessed it - the same message with the blue dot, so I replaced that.  My question is whether it is really likely that all 4 cartridges came out at the same time.  I found the idea of color cartridges separated that they could be replaced individually as they ran.  If they're all replaced at the same time, in any case, what is the advantage?

    Any comments?

    Hello

Not normally, at the same time. Looks like you him is not set up to print in black only so he mix all the colors to make it dark.

Please go to set preferences, advanced and select black ink only under the levels of grayscale/grayscale option.

Do not forget to click on apply before going out.

    Hello

You can uninstall and then reinstall your printer using the right drivers and installation on the HP Web site information, but I think it's more a physical problem with the ink cartridges and how they were installed, and the configuration.

There are some troubleshooting steps for her it too when you select the correct printer model number.

You have given us a serial number printer, rather than an exact model number

Once you install the first instant cartridges, the account is now active. It before, it is preferable to install the two inks in the printer. To store your cartridges open, should this guide has proved the best way to do it.
