  • PSC 2110 all-in-one now prints VERY SLOW

Maybe I just need to bury it, but my psc 2110 started extremely slow printing - 15 minutes for the align cartridges page, 17 minutes for the 'self-assessment report.  So, it has nothing to do with the connection between the printer and the computer (these prints are of the printer itself).  I tried unplugging everything, wait, and plug it in; Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges; align the print cartridges; Download the HP printer utility (who reported "No problems found"); looking for an update (it says I have the latest).  Any ideas?

If the printer prints a swath, and then pauses for 15 seconds before the next broke then probably the issue is one of the ink cartridges has failed.  If the PSC 2110 is capable of printing mode reserve (with one of the removed cartridges), then you can remove a cartridge, print something, then replace the cartridge, remove the cartridge else and print something.

Whatever that cauese cartridge the printer to print slowly is the culprit and should be replaced.  If the PSC 2110 does not support the mode of the reserve, then you will have to use trial and error to find out what cartridge is at fault.  I would like to start with the black cartridge.

  • HP psc 2510 photosmart and copy print very, very slowly

My PSC 2510 on windows 7 was working fine but now prints and copies at a speed very very slow (10 minutes to do a page in black and white)
    Any ideas?

This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges. I'm not sure that it will work with the PSC 2510, but try the following: remove the black print cartridge and print a test page.  The printer prints at a normal speed?  Is therefore the black cartridge was the issue and needs to be replaced.  If it isn't then, put the black back cartridge in and remove the color cartridge and the test page printed.  If the printer now prints speed the color cartridge is responsible and must be replaced.

  • __I have a range of printers HP psc 1200 and it's offline.

I turned off and unplugged and it is always offline

    Hi valerie,

-Is your printer connected to a network?
-When the question is is produced?

There are a few things that you should keep in mind.

    1. check the cables to and from the printer to the computer and make sure that all connections are secure. A disconnected cable is often the cause of making the printer offline.

2 set the printer as the default printer.

    3. This can happen if the print spooler requires other services, and these services are not running. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, in the search box type "services.msc".
    b. in Services, right-click on print spooler and then click Properties.
    c. click the Dependencies tab. The first box list all system services that must work for the print spooler start. These are dependencies.
    d. take note of each service, click OK, and then restart each service on which the print spooler is dependent, if the service is not already started. If a service is not started, right-click, click Properties, and then make sure that the startup type is automatic.

  • Is there a way to disconnect all devices?

People keep complaining that I do not answer when I'm not connected. I thought maybe it was Skype high reading on my phone, so I uninstalled it. But the problem persists. People see me as 'available' when I'm disconnected from all the devices I own.

Anyone know what could possibly be the cause? And is there a way to fix it or is it possible to display all devices, I'm connected?

    Any help is appreciated!

You can try the /showplaces and cat /remotelogout commands.

I don't do a lot of printing, so I don't want to waste paper by the presence of an extra page printed up evry time I want to just print a few pages. Is there a way to disable this test to the start page?

  • Direct printing of WIFI in Samsung Galaxy 3 Smartphone for a range of printers HP 8630

I have a HP 8630 printer connected to my local network via a wired connection.  The printer works fine for computers on the same network with the printer.  What I call the 'normal' network

I also have a Samsung Galaxy 3 smartphone using Android software 4.4.2.  I want to print directly to the printer from the phone using WIFI Direct.  I was not able to get this process works.  The smartphone is on the part "comments" of the network for security reasons.

Can I use wireless WIFI Direct to the printer from the smartphone function when the printer is connected to my cable network 'normal '?  The router is a 3800 NETGEAR which has both wired and wireless capability.  The phone has the ability to «direct WIFI»

    Thank you

  • ISE - network devices - Split larger range of IP addresses in smaller

    Hello.

We have several companies, each of them have affected a subnet of class B, 172.21.xx 16, 172.27.xx 16, etc. for example.

But each company has several locations, which has normally a class C subnet are assigned

It is a structure that I want to build in ISE also.
It is very convenient during authorization profiles and you will need to locate where the client is trying to access the WIFI. You know, to assign the VLAN, etc...

But when I try to do, I get this error:
Could not create the network device - given overlapping IP subnet with existing network device: 1.

    Why oh why?

Is there a way to get around this? If this isn't the case, please implement this feature!

It was no problem doing this GBA, then why would a problem here?

    Thank you

Another way to determine where the wifi client is to use an identifier Sin you can specify a group AP or WLAN (by default it is the WLC name) and you can use rules in ISE that make use of the nas radius attribute - identify. The disadvantages with NAS-identify is that you must configure the identifier Sin from the AP on the WLC group, it cannot be done by PI model and you can make a report to ISE using an nas identifier.

Thanks again, Enrico, but I wonder if we are at cross-purposes, because I did not clear I'm not now able to use my Mac Yosemite. My Windows PC (Vista 32 bit) is left behind in another country and will not be accessible for me until April. You say I can download Windows Vista 32-bit driver on my Mac and I will be able to install and use the software on my Mac?

    Best wishes

N ° you have not made this clear at all. I based my suggestions on the subject and the information contained in the initial post that you created.

You cannot use Vista with an Apple OSX driver.

Follow the instructions on the HP web document I have planned on installing the driver for the printer on an Apple device. HP printers supported in OSX 10.10 Yosemite. Your PSC 1310 printer is supported, but may not have a full pilot. Apple V. 3.0 for OS x printer drivers

  • After update for HP UPD PCL 5 on the network drivers, local printers now very slow printing

I've recently updated the HP Universal Print Driver PCL 5 on my Windows 2008 R2 file and print server.  All printers on network HP 5 now show the new driver of the UPD PCL 5, and 5 all seems to work fine from all clients on the attached network.

However, as soon as I had updated the drivers from server, anyone with a printer connected locally HP began to test response times very slow when trying to print jobs to their local printer or even bring up the properties of the local printer.  I think that it is because local printers also use the HP UPD PCL5 driver, and something "broke" when I updated the driver on the server.   If the local printer is set as default, trying to make it appear a Properties dialog box takes several seconds (before it was instant), and clicking PRINT in any application results in a noticeable delay for the print dialog box to appear, followed by another notable delay (as in 10-20 seconds) before work is treated and control the application returned ot the user.  The printer takes then to another a few seconds to process work.  Essentially print jobs local just went from 5 seconds to 30 seconds or more for each task to start to print more.  This is unacceptable.

I tried to remove all printers on network among the PC client, and then deleting the local printer as well.  I restarted, then used the install.exe HP UPD PCL 5 to start the installation on the local computer, choosing to do an installation of USB.  I turned on the printer local return and it has been recognized and loaded the new HP UPD PCL5 driver, but the problem persists.

So after messing around with this more yesterday I think I narrowed down it to a port number.  It seems that when computers with local printers connected downloaded the new UPD PCL 5 form the network (updated their drivers for network printer), he reconfigured the USB port for each printer connected locally.  The USB port on the local printer will now appear as "DOT4 generic IEEE 1284.4 support printing", while before I'm pretty sure he showed as "DOT4 HP Laserjet one."   This white paper (which is unfortunately for Windows XP) appears to support the hypothesis that the port has changed and that the generic port is much slower (this is what we see now with local printers).  White paper on the issue of generic DOT4 port

I tried to delete all printers that use the UPD from a local system and then using the install.exe form the UPD package to install the local printer as a USB printer (disconnection of the latter before installation and then in reconnecting it when you are prompted by Setup), still the same generic port is re-created.  How can I change the generic port to a specific port HP driver for printers normally respond again?

Furthermore, I opened a ticket with the help of HP on the issue Monday afternoon, it is now Wednesday morning and the only response I received was a request to make sure that my cables were not more than 6' long.  Seriously HP support?

My best guess is that you do not use the name of specific driver to the version on the print server.   Driver version-specific name will look like "HP Universal printing PCL6 (v5.9.0).   Non-specific to the version name will look like "HP Universal PCL6 print.

When you work with print servers, it is recommended to use the name of the version-specifc driver.   I think what happened here are that the driver has been updated on the server, and this update was then pushed to clients through point and print because the pilots names.

You have indicated that you are using the PCL5 driver.   In a general office print PCL6 offers the best combination of performance and print quality.   I recommend you go to PCL6 immediately, unless your devices or custom applications/solutions are not compatible with PCL6.  (This is very rare)

If it were my system, here's what I'd do.

    1. Download UPD PCL6 5.9.0 and PARK of www.hp.com/go/upd
    2. Install the UPD PCL6 5.9.0 on my print server using the name specific to the version - create a temporary queue.
    3. Run AutoUpgradeUPD.exe from the PARK to remove queues existing impression on my print server and re-create them with the PCL6 driver.   (See http://youtu.be/mYCVx1RBp9w for more information on this utility)
    4. Remove the temporary queue
    5. On my clients, I would remove the existing printer USB connections.
    6. Run the UPD PCL6 5.9.0 installer and select the USB - Plug and Play mode and make sure that both check boxes are enabled.
    7. Re-connect local printers.

Something else I could try to implement PRNCON of the PARK on each client.    It will be delete and re-create the connections to printer to the print server.    This can be run without command-line switches, but I like to use the '-2000 w' command to force a second 2 the delay between the removal of the printer connection and recreate.

In a last time, I'll make sure to remove any old/unused drivers from the print server.

  • HP PSC 1410 all in one printer scanner does not work

My printer, HP PSC 1410 all-in-one works fine as a printer, a scanner and a copier until I had a virus and had to reformat.  I have the original HP for the printer drive, downloaded the software undated and have loaded, deleted and reloaded the software 20 times.  The printer and copier works well.  Microsoft appears saying that scanner drivers are not certified, etc. and I can't scan to work.  I had put in hundreds of hours trying to get this to work.  I am 71 years old and I already have the computer work for my company 18 years ago.  My inability to solve this problem that bothers me more than anything else.  I need some young soul to help me that whip.  I don't buy a new computer or upgrade to Windows 7 until I fix this.  It has become a challenge, but I need help.  Kenny:

  • PSC 2175 printing very slowly

    Hello

My HP psc 2175 all-in-one suddenly started printing very very slowly.

No new drivers have been installed, or any other configuration change was made, so I have no idea what could have happened.

    Any clue?

    Thnks.

Hello Soldadoryan, there are a few reasons for this. In simple terms, it could be due to the age of printers and use. Maybe this isn't the case in this case, however.

Power supply from the printer is connected directly to a wall or connected by a surge protector? Visitors are often surprised the difference in performance when they connect the power supply directly into a wall socket because our printers have built in surge protector.

After to change that, I would recommend checking and updating the firmware of the printer if necessary. The document here will guide you through this just to solve this problem.

    I hope this helps!
