Note: I just bought new HP still makes the samething recovery disks or certain occasions will tell.
Blotmgr.exe did not hit ctrl - alt - del to restart

If you can read the Microsoft Windows 7 of 25-character license key attached to the bottom of your laptop, you can download a Windows 7 ISO file to burn to a DVD. The version must match that on the sticker COST Microsoft.

Hi I have a Satellite L500-1XC of second hand, the former owner has installed Ubuntu (which I can't access because of password) as well as windows 7 and I try restore laptop to factory settings, but I just don't know how.

I tried to turn it off and holding, then 0 and pressing the Start button. On the bottom of the home screen says HDD Recovery at the bottom left of the screen, but after that, he just the part of the selection for me to choose Ubuntu or Windows 7 and then just charge the laptop as usual.

I tried to get the Recovery Media Creator, but I'm not. It seems that a lot of original Toshiba Utilities and supports have been removed.

If anyone can help me fix this laptop, I'd be so grateful that I can not really afford to buy a Toshiba Recovery disk.

    Thank you

    > I'm trying to restore the laptop to factory settings, but I just don't know how
I put t I think that HARD drive recovery would work because Linux has been installed on the HARD drive and I think that the partition table has been changed.
This might be the reason why the HDD recovery isn't working.

You can always see this Toshiba document that describes the whole HARD drive recovery procedure:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD1303440001R01.htm

So now, drive HARD recovery does not work in this case, you can only use the installation disc.
You can try to install Windows 7 using the Microsoft disk (Toshiba drivers are downloadable) or you order the disc of Arvato:

IM do that tonight and it is literally taken hours and right when I click on 'remove' it is not an answer.  I had my computer folder (? I think it's what you call) open so I could see how much space I had, and it DECREASES in fact then I was "suppression" of backups, and yet it was inadmissible. She went from 80 GB to 60 GB. Help, please

Rescue and recovery in your folder of ThinkVantage software creates backups (a full backup and the others are incremental) and stores them on another part of the HARD drive that you will not be able to see just by going to the properties of the C: drive.

Check the record of ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery

Start-> all programs-> ThinkVantage (or Lenovo Care)-> Rescue and Recovery

Once you are there, you will see a bar upstairs with 4 or 5 options. Here, you have the ability to view the size of your backups. You also have the option to delete them. Search for the word "Advanced" in the menu bar, then select 'delete backups"to remove them and free up space on your hard drive. Don't forget that you can also "schedule" of your backups and you can choose to change the location you want to that backups going. For example, you can have the backups Save on a CD or on a drive of 'network '.

If you have Vista as an operating system, you can go to this document on our site of Lenovo to get a general understanding of our HARD drive partitions:

Let me know if you need additional assistance.

I am running Vista on a new Compaq Presario desktop computer that was good for me a little less than a year before. I recently changed my password the only admin account (I have the privacy of my teenage years on some things) on the computer, and now I don't remember what it is! I do not write it down because my kids have found in the past and I don't have a password recovery disk (I didn't know that there was such a thing). Is there a way I can get into my office without it, or find, or something that does not require of losing me all my games and images?

  • Compaq Presario 2199US recovery help

I have a Compaq Presario 2199US notebook that has been given to me.  The laptop came with factory restore disks.  There is a COA sticker on the bottom of the machine.  I have a Windows XP home SP3 and tired to do a clean install to use it.  When I try to use the COST he told me that I have an invalid number.

Could it not because the certificate of authenticity is to maybe windows family xp without service pack?

Any suggestion on how to be me and goes again.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I have is that you can order a set of recovery disc for your laptop.

HP has more, but you can still order a set from here.

    http://www.computersurgeons.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ID=4219

If you do not install a XP OEM installation disc, that is why the product key does not work.

In other words, if you si vous utilisez use a retail full or upgrade XP Home Edition installation CD, the OEM product key will not work.

  • Vista UPGRADE LOOP causing has major problems after normal recovery help

I have a Pavillion DV6226us computer laptop Vista Home Premium, 4 daus agp, I was forced into what I thought was a restart systematic due to some updates to VISTA & OFFICE until he got to the page config after the windows logo screen and update 3 or 3 remained at 0% and restarted and went into the loop of the startup-config-stop. I have had no other internet access at the time, but I needed the pc work so I tried options repair normal, start repair, latest config, safe mode, etc. and eventually had to do system restore, System Restore did not work, I tried 3 times I think and I know I got an error message 'cannot restore again or something' I went to the oldest available restoration and still got the update config, I deleted all the files of 3 updates in the software distribution folder, I thought this might work, I forgot pending .xml and restored then the register for a few days before the first update of Windows and nothing has worked.  I then tried a repair install and I have a windows vista business upgrade I bought that I never ended up using so I tried, but he wouldn't take the key not connected to windows, I put in the key OEM and it took, but I cancelled before starting installation cause I wanted to make sure that it was my only option When I had another pc, the next day, I found the pending.xml repair that I finally in windows. When I walked into windows, I found that there are all sorts of problems, from 1st installing office began to install but stop with the registry permission errors, I had 2 program files & program data folders (I moved the new ones to the old ones deleted duplicate files, the system was very slow I ran sfc and came back with a couple of errors that are not fixed, I watched cbs file but nothing came back under a ': can't fix "search of the file did not further that the errors were cause I had to restart with the repairs I did and run checkdisk, restart and decide if it is repairable or or try the upgrade installation , but the error of update 3 of 3 was back and now I was unable to boot from the disc, all I get is a white cursor with a black screen, I also tried 2 OEM windows vista home, & Xp Pro disk and a partition boot disk just to see if we can see the drive and it acts like its reading every time but after about 20 seconds to 2 minutes He let the fast blinking cursor and goes to loading vista, I can get into the bios, I can run all the advanced startup options (safe mode, etc.) but even a mistake. I tried to start with different bios settings and I tried to reset to default Panel of the bios, Ive tried hard reset - unplug all removin battey, by holding down the Start button / stop. Now, I've noticed a new screen coming during the load just before the screen of windows logo appears a black screen with 1/186 (_0000000_00000 CDF - MS) for 1 second and the only startup option that got no result was the controller of directory service. When I was able to run the checkdisk utility and found that this same file CDF - MS rode as error and checkdisk supposed to solve this problem, when I run the directory service again right after that it arranges the checkdisk says disc is clean, but it turns very quickly, just about 5 seconds to run checkdisk, then if I try to boot from the disc or other options of connection the error wil come back
and loop fixing and showing his own. Ive also ran the vista test drive diagnostic memory hard tool & bios, both tools ran without error is returned without error, there was something else that happened during one of the attempts of safe mode, do not know how I got ut open winload.exe screen but I do not change anything Please help thanks

When you did the repair system/upgrade using the version upgrade of the Installation of Vista Business disk, which was the operating system that was on the system before the problems started (before that you did the re-Setup)?  If not and you have used the OEM product key, it triggered correctly?  Go to start / computer / system properties and at the bottom it says it is active?  That is not an immediate problem, but can backfire on you in 30 days if it is not resolved.  To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain that this is the same PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista (as long as it's the same version of fix than the OEM version).

I guess you can still work in SafeMode with networking (but not normal mode).

We will test your hard drive, a different way.  To test your hard drive, check the manufacturer and then get the diagnostic utility of: http://www.techsupportforum.com/hardware-support/hard-drive-support/302602-hard-drive-diagnostic-utilities.html.  If she failed the test, replace it.  If she passes the test, then it's probably nothing wrong with it.

Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  I want to update the drivers for the CD/DVD device (because it seems to be in place, even if it worked at least partially for the repair of the system).  If you need to get pilots to leave the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.  Then see if you can run another repair of system/upgrade to Vista Business upgrade disc.

If the update 3 or 3 error always appears after that, then repost this question in Forum Windows Update: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/threads where people who specialize in updating the questions will be more than happy to help you with your problem.

    I hope this helps.

  • Remove recovery partition satellite A200 - option "Erase the hard drive"?

    Hi people,

I have a new Satlellite A200 and it won't start. Tried to run the recovery CD, but no joy.
Could someone please tell me, if I chose

'Clear the hard disk' then 'delete all data and partitions of the hard disk '.

This would also remove the computer's internal recovery partition?

I have the recovery CD, but as I said, they do not work and I was wondering if the compensation completely HARD drive then runs the disk recovery partition recovery help.

Sorry if this is a fundamental question for you guys! I read through hundreds of threads, but could not find a definitive answer.

    > This would also remove the computer's internal recovery partition?

If you mean the partition hidden WinRE Vista then; YES

But don t worry buddy. The Toshiba Vista recovery CD would be to format the whole HARD drive and erase all partitions, but it creates the hidden WinRE Vista back to the HARD disk partition.

  • laptop HP Clubhouse 15: help please!

My laptop goes down as I watched the YouTube video and I restarted and it started the repair of automatic recovery but it loads the screen and then goes to a black screen.then I turn it off and press f11 for recovery of the system and load it if please wait then goes to a black screen and never loads up the system recovery help please!

Fail short, DST = disk hard drive has failed and will need to be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 500 GB hard drive you can use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.

  • ES1-331 recovery partition

Have a Aspire ES1 - 331 and was trying to install Windows 10 but the partition SSD did not have enough space. Stupidly, I deleted the recovery partition thinking it would be good, but now it does not start in Windows.

I created recovery 8.1 of Windows on a USB media, and since these new laptops have COST, I don't do the whole no product key thing. I tried to repair the existing Windows 8.1 partition, but since the 9FR in the recovery partition has been deleted and is not attributed, the Setup program could not fix it. I ended up installing just a new copy of Windows.

My question is, how am I able to activate/authenticate Windows at this point? I can now connect to Windows and you can go online, but I am I don't have a product key and I do not know if Acer Recovery help. I want to just put things in factory default, since I deleted the recovery partition and the SSD is all 1 main partition now (there are a few other small partition that resemble a 100 MB each but I left those alone).

the product key is in your BIOS, you can retrieve it if necessary.
