I use a Pavilion dv7-6c43cl running Windows 7. I'm looking to create a recovery using HP Recovery Manager media, but when I do, the Recovery Manager fails to check the disk #1. Can someone help me please?

  • Recovery Manager is not open / create recovery discs

I have a laptop of G61-410SA and have problems with the hard drive. So, I would first try to reset it to factory settings. Now, I would like to create the recovery disks, but the Recovery Manager does not open and when I go through F11, creating a disk is not available.
The laptop has always worked with Windows 7 x 64, never been updated. Out of warranty however. Have had a lot of blue screens and now 303 in diagnosis. Always be able to start, but very slow.

Is there another way to create these disks, I can see the recovery in D partition.

    Thank you.

At this point you can consider purchasing at HP or HP partner. They are fairly cheap ($25,00 USD)

  • The Acer recovery management will not run on switch 10

By the switch of my Acer 10 owner's manual, there are steps proposed to "create a backup recovery" and a "driver and application backup. But the Acer Recovery Management will run. When I click on Acer recovery management application, I get the screen of the security clearance. I click on "OK" to continue. Nothing happens. I tried several times. I also tried to run as an administrator without success. I have a 32 GB flash drive ordered. Is the flash drive must be inserted into the switch 10 for the application to run? If not, what am I doing wrong

You must insert the USB pen to perform recovery management, either by the way, if the Acer recovery management does not work, you can use windows built-in recovery.

Hello world. Just bought a computer laptop 1310sa m6 with envy. I tried to create a rescue disk set by using the Recovery Manager. • Pavilion dm4 2191us: restoring a backup made with HP Recovery Manager - data recovery manager has since been removed

My system (portable Pavilion dm4, Win 7 Home Premium x 64)) is works well but I would like to restore a backup of data made with HP Recovery Manager. HP Recovery Manager has since been removed from the system and I don't have a recovery disk. I tried to install sp45415 that supposedly runs a silent installation for the Recovery Manager program, but it fails silently on my system. The notes say that it applies to Windows 7 computers and the Pavilion dm1 and dm3. There is no mention of the dm4.

Y at - there a trick to getting sp45415 to work properly?

Y at - it somewhere that I can download an installation package for HP Recovery Manager that works on the Pavilion dm4?

Is there another tool that can restore the backup made by HP Recovery Manager?

    Thank you!

If you have uninstalled Recovery Manager he probably removed the recovery of files in the recovery partition. When these files are not deleted download Recovery Manager will install. You will need a recovery media to boot from to restore the files and the recovery partition. If you do not have a recovery media you order from HP.

As for the files you are trying to restore - if it's a backup of personal files, photos, etc. to the outside hard disk or DVD must be a file .exe inside these files, probably of Restore.exe or Recover.exe. Double click on the .exe will extract files to a folder on the hard drive of your laptop.

Well, this is my second attempt to create recovery media, initially I thought the drive was defective and returned. I would go to 8.1 but would create recovery first. • Impossible to install windows 8 - we could not verify the product key

    Hello

I have a HP G laptop computer series. The laptop comes with Windows 7. I. I upgraded to WIN 8 pro when windows 8 has been released. Recently, my laptop hard drive crashed completely due to bad sectors. I replaced with a new hard drive and tried to install WIN 8 from a dvd disk created from Windows download site.

Now, the installation fails in the "enter product key to activate windows. The error is , we could not verify the product key. Please check your installation media.

What can I do here? I can't install Windows 7 also because my laptop didn't come with a backup installation disk but just a restore system partition that get lost with swap HDD too.

I was struck here for weeks. Please help me.

To install Windows 8, you must have a previous Version (XP Sp3, Vista or Windows 7) installed at installation time. Your RESUME must have given you the opportunity to make a series of DVD of Windows 7, when you first start using your computer. If you have done these and then use them for the recovery of Windows 7 on your computer and then update for Windows 8.0. If you don't do this why? Your other option is to contact HP support and have then send you a recovery of Windows 7 DVD set. They will charge a small fee for these to help cover their costs.

Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.

  • Acer Recovery Management does not load! Anyone know how I can fix this please?

    Hi - I have an Aspire E5 - 511 laptop with Windows 8.1, 64 bit.

Although Acer Recovery Management icon shows in the Applications and open the window to allow changes to my computer, after a few blue swirls that briefly Flash on the screen and disappear more nothing happens!  What is the solution please - I do not understand why it does not load?

I guess when I did the initial USB recovery for this laptop about 7 months ago, it did not automatically a copy of the drivers?  It is that now when I need to wipe my hard drive that I have reflected on this process and find out from one of the videos that there is an option to create a backup of drivers. I need to know I have everything backed up and available for restore, and I can count on the Acer Recovery Management to be there program to do!

I'm very much a novice user and find it all very confusing - please help!

as JordanB said, the recovery USB key you created was all, so no need to create a backup of drivers.

If you want to create another USB recovery media and Acer erecovery doesn't work, you can use the USB windows media authoring tool, it's the same Acer erecovery use.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-USB-recovery-drive

by the way, if your HARD drive is always okay, with all the original scores, you can reset - reinstall windows without the need to support USB. just press ALT + F10 at startup and it will start the process erecovery.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates
and the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Hardware Profiles\0001\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

You can probably find more info here and maybe even the exact registry settings for your
CD/DVD drive someone with the same model.
