HP SimplePass works intermittently

I have problems with HP SimplePass. Every so often, it stops working and will not enter details of password for my registered sites. Furthermore, if I then try to connect to any Web site manully, the web browser just hangs and will not open a session. If I uncheck the option allow HP SimplePass to connect with my registered sites and then restart my laptop, I can then sign in to Web sites. However, if I reactivate later Pass Simple it starts to work again, only for the problem to resurface at a later date. Because of the sporadic nature of the problem, I was unable to identify the cause, and, as far as I know, I have the latest version of SimplePass.

Someone else has encountered the same problem?

I use a HP Pavilion n271ea-15 computer laptop (Windows 8.1), with Internet Explorer 11.

Could you please clarify how you try to use the SimplePass software. As the software is intended to be used with a fingerprint reader. These are lying them to allow you to quickly connect in Web sites by swipping your finger.

It seems that you use it as a password storage, to avoid having to manually enter the information. Although I'm not sure how your using the program to connect, if your not using it through a finger print reader.

The only option that you have is uninstalling Simplepass, clear the cache and cookies in your browser (s), and then reinstall the latest version of Simplepass and setting everything back up.

You could try this, let me know how it goes.

    Same problem here, but I found a way to make this work (in fact there are two ways LOL)

    -Remove one of the batteries.  Believe it or not, the scroll wheel works perfectly when I remove one of the battery (any).  However, I do not know how long it will last since there isn't that one battery in operation.

    OR

    -Remove the lid of dough and remove the batteries.  Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw about 2 rounds (for some reason, I think that it is screwed in too tight).  Replace the batteries and you are or that you set.

    I can't guarantee that my methods will still work, but the fact is that it works for me since then.

    What happens is:

    I open HP SimplePass, it displays a message "looks like you are having some problems. Do you want to retry? »

    When I click on Yes and choose a finger, returns the message.

    Also, when I try to add a fingerprint in connection options in WIndows, it is also said that year error has occurred.

    I see you are having a problem your HP SimplePass since installing Windows 8.1. Part of the problem is that there is no drivers for Windows 8.1 for your model. Here is the latest version of the Software HP SimplePass Identity Protection and the fingerprint sensor fingerprint validity for Windows 8.1. I recommend you to uninstall what you have and then try this version.

  • Since updating my iPad iOS 10, using the button home to close or open applications re works intermittently

    Since updating my i Pad for ios 10, the ability to close or restore applications open with a double-tap the home button, now does only intermittently.  Yesterday, it was not working.  Today, it was and I was able to close open approximately 20 applications. Now, it does not, once again.  I've seen some comments somewhere relative to other people with similar problems.

    My first post so maybe wrong category, try to scan fingerprint to install it on my system and send me questions.     Short answer:

    You configure connection of the fingerprint without after crossing the Windows Hello > PIN > enable fingerprint.

    The fingerprint reader must be activated before it can be used.

    In general, everything works much better when you have installed the drivers needed for Windows 10 HP.  Your system drivers Support page provides 10 HP Windows drivers.

    Installation HP SimplePass before the login of the fingerprint is functional is not ideal:

    • Start the program SimplePass in the mixture can work (fix) - or to install SimplePass atop of a connection configuration nonfunctional fingerprints may not help at all

    If you install HP SimplePass fails:

    • Installation HP SimplePass before the login of the fingerprint is functional can cause the user (you) to believe that the failure is due to HP SimplePass (when the cause of the failure is located somewhere else).

    The question is perhaps the absence of a footprint of Validity Sensor Driver Update.

    • Shut down the system (full off)
    • Start the computer and connect

  • Satellite Pro 300 L. Wireless only works intermittently

    I have updated all drivers wireless on the laptop. It is running Vista and all updates have been applied.

    Wireless continues to stop intermittently. He doent loses the connection with the access point but ping fails, where another computer attached to the same access point works very well. I ran pc live version of linux on the laptop operating system and it remains connected without problem. There SEEMS to be something windows / vista related but I'm not sure of that. I did not check the bios to see if there's a updtae, do not know if this can help, but we saw it.

    Sometimes its worse than others and a fact of unpacking of 'possible' thing is worse when there is a higher load of traffic through the adapter as a download. The same tested in installing linux and he continued to work without problems.

    Advice appreciated ideas.

  • Equium A100-027 - speaker works intermittently

    Has just developed a problem after my laptop Equium A100 - 027 for only two years.

    Speakers began to intermittently fail. They worked last Thursday and then for a short time Friday. rebooting when I started the PC this morning but have stopped working this afternoon.

    When I play a video (e.g. YouTube) there is no volume at all and yet when I open the volume mixer I see audio visibly displayed.

    Any ideas on what the fix should be?

    First of all, I would say you should test the helmet on the laptop. So you can determine if the problem is hardware related (internal speakers) or related software.

    And have you checked for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager?

    Yes, I have the same problem with my Ford Escape of 2013 using MFT version 3.8 (just installed).  Use IPhone with IOS 9.2 6.  I can call him only intermittently SIRI when I use the long pull on the switch.  Also, when I do it, SIRI goes my audio setting that I played (usually USB iPod) to BT audio.  I'm trying to see if the fix suggested elsewhere for the BT audio works but were unable to invoke SIRI to check.  Ford Sync experts were of great help and finally told me to go to the dealer.  I read somewhere after a 'google' search a person represents himself as a guy HE said it's a problem of IOS and Ford does not change (code) until we as customers.  That's all I know right now.

    • FIRST, back up (export) your wbcards:

    Export the Webcard database:

    When you have working software SimplePass, export your Webcards.  In the case where you must remove the SimplePass software, your webcard backup can be used (imported) to restore your Web site login information.

    Start SimplePass > parameters > export NOTE: file will be called *.tsd

    • The driver will reinstall it connect you to

    I bought a laptop HP Pavilion with Windows 8.1 and two days later downloaded Simplepass.  It worked perfectly yesterday(installation day), but it now appears that the information has disappeared.  I tried to access directly from Simplepass, but still nothing.  Any help appreciated.

I would like to make a perform a reset. When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices and remove cards memory card reader location. Disconnect all non-essential devices.     Hi - I have updated my PC Windows 8.1 times back and had no problem with simplepass initially. I then suddenly could not drag my finger and sign in.

    I read through some of the conversations are realize others has had a problem too and saw some suggestions to resolve and follow up and was able to download an updated driver and it worked fine until last week when even once it has stopped working.

    I am disappointed that HP has NOT solved which I think should have been done long back because people are complained about beginning of 2013 (or before).

    I am at a loss to know what do it because, I depended on using this for a lot of my web sites etc. (keep my password in place course), but now I can't use my finger print recognition to make and need to type my master password every time.

    I bought this computer for ease of managing my security but HP made me lose confidence in their products, given the battle I faced.

    I'm worried about installing any software updated as indicates it a solution because I'm not sure it will solve the problem without deleting my files from data password etc.

    The HP team can advise you and if possible contact me directly for this problem.

    I chose to discuss this pubically because I think that HP is lying on I think it's a problem they have NOT delt with more proactive in reaching out to the loyal customers like me.

    First thing I would check enable biometric support in this document.

    If this does not help, I would say to uninstall HP SimplePass and reinstalled the latest version for Windows 8.1.

    My mouse, intermittently, works, or it, glitches and does not at all.  I have a NEW mouse to see if this corrects the problem.  No, he didn't.

    What is the problem?

    Wireless mice are more trouble that it be put in place with.  First recommendation is of use a cable.

    Wireless mice are common problems, because they depend on a radio signal between it and a receiving device.  If a device has a low battery, you will have a problem.  The radio signal between devices is very low and depends on being close enough and especially no radio no signal interference.  The signal interference can come from many sources, but the computer itself can be the worst offender.  Try to move the receiver close enough (a few inches) with the mouse and see if that helps.

    In your case, it looks like interference.

    I use 7 Captivate to develop a guide of online user and have problems with click boxes. Some of them will be randomly cease to function and to freeze the project when you click it (it is after having published both in the preview of Captivate). Who click on the boxes what happened is completely random - it will happen with a clickbox and 10 minutes later we're going to work even once and another (who worked previously) will have stopped working. This is without changing any settings.

    The clickboxes are just linking to other slides in the project and are put on pause until the user clicks. I checked that slide numbers are well positioned and checked the timeline to ensure that it is not not to do with this.

    There is other intermittent issues, how I feel, like images flown over appearing as red squares and the project as a big black screen. It is normally resolved by closing the preview and re - open.

    I was wondering if it could be to do with the size of the project (96 slides and 405 mb), because the problems are so random it seems to be bound to parameters.

    I use Windows 7 and the project is previewing or opening Internet Explorer 9 (using a work PC).

    Anyone have any idea what might solve this problem?

    405 MB for a project with slides below 100 waaaayyyy sounds excessive to me.  You have to deal with a corrupt project file.

    I suggest that you create a new empty project of the same size and then copy paste groups of 10 or 20 slides from the old project to the new.  Sometimes, you can strip the corruption caused by files bloated this way that it forces Captivate to recreate all the unique object ID again, but nothing that do not directly relate to a slide is left behind in the old project file.

    Let us know what your size drops down for once you do the exercise of copy paste.

    You use an extremely precarious technique that sets your form wide open to a malicious attack known e-mail header injection, which can transform your shape in a spam relay.

  • Forms just stop working intermittently when you use Excel too

    I have a random, strange and frustrating problem! I work in R12.0.4 do a few tests, which means that I have to keep referring to a spreadsheet Excel (2007 version), so I pass frequently between Oracle Forms and Excel - sometimes by clicking between the two and sometimes using Alt - Tab. What happens, intermittent - sometimes frequently and sometimes not, is that when I go back to Oracle, the form works more I can't tab through the fields, I can't select other buttons, I can't hit even the "quit" icon in the upper right corner. My only issue is to close the window of J-initiator (which in turn closes the session of forms) and then re - start my health session of forms of the homepage Apps.
    Has anyone encountered this?

    I have a HP Pavilion Elite d5000t ATX (about 3-4 years) and today the hard drive gave the soul.  I ordered the recovery discs, and they should be arriving soon.  Do I have TO buy a replacement HP drive? Looking at this drive, it's 500 GB Seagate that
