HP Support Assistant not live connections to the HP servers
HP Pavilion dv7 notebook (QG703EA #B1A). Assistant HP stopped connecting to the servers of HP in order to retrieve updates of pilot since before the holidays. When to go to the host / maintain / Refresh, it always returns "Fail" steps "Download updates", "Collection of information", and "analytical system. The search in the forums, I found a post where the user is prompted to download a newer version of HPSA. I did, but the problem persists. Is this a known issue that will be corrected? Whether it has to do with servers or is my PC? Is that what I can do to try to figure out where the problem and solve it? I am running Windows 10 (x 64) (build 10586) on my laptop HP ENVY TS of m7 with HP Support Assistant 8.1.40.3. I'm used to seeing the blue Support Assistant of circular background of question mark icon located on the right side of my taskbar Windows in the notification area, just to the right of the up-carat for 'display the icons '.
However, about 2 days ago the Assistant to support automatically downloaded and installed the latest version of himself. The '? ' icon disappears from the notification area of the task bar and appeared to place on my desk. I clicked on the desktop, and then click icon on "PIN to Desktop". It pinned icon Assistant decision-making support on the left side of my taskbar with icons for Windows Store File Explorer and other icons open programs.

Success at last! I uninstalled HP Support Assistant and reinstalled. After the installation, I found that the wizard help icon was now right of my bar Windows 10 tasks in the notification area, where I'm used to seeing. See the image below. If this topic is now closed.

HP Support Assistant has stopped working after the installation of the HP-Helper to check network
My computer model: HP Pavilion SlimLine s5-1160 desktop with Windows 7 64 - bit Media Center
While I was away from my computer this morning installed HP HP network check Helper. When I got home there was a message that I needed to restart the computer. After reboot, I got the same message. After trying several times, I have disabled assistance program using Add-on management, but the message from computer restart guard appearing. When I tried to open HP Support Assistant it opens, but instead, the restart popped up message. In the HP Setup Manager Wizard, I clicked on help, then launch support assistant and received... the message to reboot. If I open HP help and Support Windows and click "Contact assistance (Get in touch with someone at HP)" I get... the message to reboot. I have re-installed HP Support Assistant with the latest version on the HP Web site. After the computer restarts, I have... the message to reboot.
Thus, the computer always tells me that I need to reboot, HP Support Assistant does not open and I can not get HP support number to call by clicking "contact support (Get in touch with someone at HP). Does anyone know a number I can call to "Get in touch with someone at HP?

After the last update of microsoft don't work plugin CorelDraw Whatthefont. Use corel capture. I can see only: your computer may not be connected to the internet or you may have a firewall installed that blocks access to the internet.

Hi, I work with someone who has a range of printers hp 2035 connected to a desktop computer running windows vista. another person has a laptop running windows 7. It obviously takes the laptop home, and every morning when he connects to his computer laptop back to the network it can see the printer, but not to print on it. HOWEVER, it can print a test page, and after that, it is good to go, until his laptop computer goes idle, date to print a test page to print again to it.
Looks like the computer is not automatically connect to the printer, but idk a permanent solution, guessing just a bit at the moment and it made the test page thing, but is a bit of waste paper right? any help would be appreciated.

Smart card reader does not correctly connect once the virtual machine is restored from sleep using the vmrum controls
Scenario is,
1. smart card reader is connected to the VM with card inserted in
2 initiate a prompt suspension of the VM toolbar
3. now to resume the virtual machine by using vmrun command into the host machine
WS t vmrun start xxx.vmx
Now, the recovery of VM but the smart card reader that was previously connected does not work properly in VM that is to say, sometimes after CV chip card reader driver is uninstalling and a few other times, chip connected to the drive is not available on a virtual computer
My requirement is after power, smart card reader can stay connected to the virtual computer with the already installed driver and the smart card.

I had a work around for this problem. By adding "usb.autoConnect.device0 ="0xVID:0xPID"" this statement to the VMX file, solves this problem, that is, whenever the VM is wake-up by clicking on the link CV or using vmrun commands, it connects the unit in question automatically and it is charging correctly with his driver. Obtaining smart card detected after sleep\hibernate with no problems.
VID & PID is respective ID of the device that can be seen in the properties of the Device Manager "Device Instance path".

I'm having a weird problem.
Here's the situation:
* I have a server that is running at http://192.168.0.179 . It serves as a file in flash, WebSocketMain.swf (of https://github.com/gimite/web-socket-js), who tries to make a socket connection to 192.168.0.179:5000.
* I have a socket policy file server clocked at http://192.168.0.179:843 .
* It works fine on the machine the server is running on (on OS X). Flash connects to the server policy files and on the server on port 5000.
* However, on a Windows (64-bit) machine on the same network (192.168.0.175), running Flash 10.3/11.2/11.3 (and in the two Chrome/IE9), I get the following in the JS console error:

* 192.168.0.179:843 is opened from the machine.175. I can connect via a client Terminal Server (e.g. PuTTY) and receive the policy without problem file. However, FP simply does not want to connect.
* I tried Security.allowDomain("*") and everything. Still nothing.
* I tried to change the URL to which public Service will connect to (which is served by the web server) to 192.168.0.179:80. Nothing. 192.168.0.179:10000 does not work either. Even 127.0.0.1 and localhost does not work.
I have more suggestions. This could be the cause? Why won't even try FP to connect to the policy server?
Found the problem: mms.cfg had an entry saying DisableSockets = 1, which caused the security error.

Downloaded CC without any problem. But now when I want to download Photshop I can't connect to the adobe servers so there is no apps showing everyone in the CC prog.
Windows 8 and there seem to be no problems with my internet connection or my firewall...
