• TouchSmart IQ816 AC Power adapter is dead, which Part do I need?

  It seems that adapter to my Touchsmart IQ816 is dead.  The led light on it came out and it's cold.  The pc does not start at the top.  I tried to plug the adapter in the other outlets and using another cord to it, no luck, the adapter appears dead.  The only one that I could find online that seems to be compatible is HP 5189-2785 charger 230W, or one that says KT457-69003.  Is this good for my model?  I couldn't find anything else.  I'm afraid with this Assembly of the pc.  Someone had replace one of them for the 800 series?

  Here are the specifications of your HP TouchSmart IQ816 desktop. Please note that there are at least two models IQ816 made... the IQ816t and the IQ816cn. These models may be very different from the IQ816. It seems that there are two issues of power available for the IQ816 feeder... they are;

  5189-2785 - power - adapter 230W PFC Marsha

  KT457-69003 - power - regulated 230W power, power factor correction - TouchSmart PC

• Satellite Pro M70 usually power up when the AC

  Hello

  I bought my dad a Satellite Pro M70 for his birthday and it was used for about 3 months. All of a sudden without any reason that it not power up if it is not connected to the AC. The battery registers itself as 100% charged.

  When on AC, everything is fine no problem.

  But when it is not plugged into the AC, it lights. When put under tension however you can unplug the AC and it will all work very well again.

  Any ideas?

  Should I try a BIOS update? or does anyone have any other suggestions?

  Hi everyone, noob here.

  My dad just gave me his Toshiba M45 - S2693. There is a problem, it won't turn. When I plug in the power adapter, there is no power. A bit of history, he takes it to be looked out and he was informed that the "motherboard" was bad. They also told him that the AC adapter is working.

  I will try to check the power adapter works. That being said, anyone has any advice on how to address this problem? In addition, is it need a new motherboard, where could I get a replacement?

  The replacement can be very expensive. I don't really know if you want to spens so much money. What you can do is to check eBay. From time to time you can find motherboards used for a good price. For me, it's absolutely the best thing you can do.

  Another problem is remove the procedure. Without Maintenance manuals, it is quite risky because you need to disassemble the whole laptop and this must be done after the order.

  I'm trying to locate my envy Touchsmart Ultrabook 4 power management settings.   I am running the Insyde BIOS verision F.23.  When I open the BIOS to F10 (I also tried F10 + A with no result) before starting the only options are to hand, security, System Config. in and out.  Is anyway to get the advanced settings in the BIOS?  Thank you.

  I understand that you are looking for the power management option in the bios.

  After doing some checking this bios has no option for the management of food as some old versions of some time got back on our old systems. I was actually able to get their hands on a similar Ultrabook built with the same version of the bios and the options are no longer present.

  It is possible that perhaps a next version will be the available option. In order to keep an eye on this link because the future updates to the bios would be here. You simply enter the product number, and then select your operating system.

  13 "MacBook Air, purchased in November 2015.

  No previous question. Computer has been turned off, I've been carefully (or not) wipe the keyboard accidentally pressed the power button and goodness knows what that other keys. Computer does its usual power sound, then THIS screen came. I don't know what to do with it.

  It's just the Manager start screen. If you hold down the Option key (⌥) at startup you get this screen where you can choose which drive start. You only have one option specified.

  Bought a 'cleaned' Tecra A3-151 (from a reliable source, bought several wiped own laptops from them before with no problems) installed Windows XP on it for a particular use, but despite my efforts produced no sound.

  Everything indicates that the sound card works - volume icon showing on the taskbar, audio tracks showing that 'play' in media player but no sound through the speakers or headphones. All drivers are showing as properly installed and any drivers missing. I uninstalled and reinstalled, is taking the usual power and by removing battery and obvious controls on audio controls (mute etc.)

  I would like to get it operational and would be grateful for any help/suggestions.

  My A3 sound worked until I did a Windows reinstall. Used dirvers "realtek". Power led on the speaker is on a port audio disconnect/reconnect on the front of the A3 gives a crackle every time so to my way of thinking the sound side should work. Even tried an external sound card.

DVD and wifi are usually power hungry. also dimming your screen works somehow. I would not advice using your device by using a car charger because eventually, the current produced by a car is unstable. It can cause damage to your power units.   2. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

  3. what error message do you get when you try to start the computer normally?
