  Looking at your specific model, I think you can try to connect an external monitor via the VGA port.

  Once you have connected the secondary monitor using the VGA port, press control + p and main Windows logo if you are able to extend or clone your desktop.

  Hi, try the normal mod F1, F4 or F5 Fn (function) button for the track changes and change the default monitor.

  the maximum resolution of your screen is 1024 x 768, so then the connection from the screen to your machine and power on it then you should get a picture on the external display.
  Maybe you have to push this button of automatic setting on your screen when the power. And if you can not get a picture at the start, it must at least be able to switch the screen with this FN + F5 combination when you reach the windows desktop (this key combination is to switch between the internal/external screen).   This is the profile for the HP USB graphic adapter (model # NL571AA). According to the specifications, the adapter kit consists of HP USB graphics card, a USB cable and a DVI - I to VGA. Plug the USB cable into the computer and the USB graphic card. If you are using a cable and a VGA monitor, plug the DVI - I to VGA in the USB graphics adapter. Then plug your time your monitor VGA audio and USB DVI - I to VGA graphics card installed.

  You can do the same thing with any other adapter USB / VGA on the market, including EVGA more + UV19 or the EVGA more + UV39

  I looked into the problem for you and I don't have a document for you to try for troubleshooting, but I also have a few questions to ask you.

  1 have you tried another pair of headphones?

  2. you hear any distortion of the other head phone?

  3 have you tried to use the HP Support Assistant to update all of your drivers?

  Recently, I had the same problem. Technical support had me to download the drivers for Windows 8.1 still and my sound returned. The explanation is that not all drivers have been created for Windows 10 again.

  All Dell monitors are equipped with CD for the drivers. Your laptop may not know the monitor without its driver, it will not install automatically. Please check:

  Ringht click an empty space on the desktop,

  Click Customize

  Click on display

  Click on change display settings

  You can see the TWO laptop screen and external monitor in there, as shown in the following image:

  

  For the test, I put my Dell monitor is my main screen. If I can't see 2 monitors, you need its driver first and then check the cable.

  I don t think you will be able to connect two external monitors to this laptop using HDMI and RGB port at the same time because of different types of signals.

  The RGB/VGA port supports analog signal.

  The HDMI port provides the digital video output and when the external monitor is connected to the HDMI port the device is set to HDMI.
