  The switch for the wireless button is always orange and nothing happens when I press them.

  Its possible, you could go into the BIOS of the laptop and make sure that the wireless hardware is enabled (available on some models only). Consult this manual for possible help with that...

  Despite these recommendations, some routers will work better with the latest Mac models if you turn the radio 2.4 GHz mode in settings and only use the 5 GHz. Note, however, that very old devices Apple and some third-party devices can then not connect at all.

  Some third party routers have advanced that you may need to change the settings:

  The encryption algorithm must be AES.

  The group key interval must be 3200.

  I can't give you specific instructions on how to change these settings, because all routers are different. Refer to the documentation for the provider.

• HP Deskjet 3055 A does not connect to the WIFI with security

  I'm trying to configure a Deskjet 3055 A on my DD - WRT router.  I am a highly qualified network engineer, so I don't know 100% what I'm doing.

  First, DD - WRT supports WPS connection, because these are very precarious.  This means that my only way to connect the pritner to my home network is to connect to my PC and use the Setup utility (downloaded from your page drivers) I use the 28.8 version.

  My router supports the 2.4 and 5 GHz and I know the printer is only 2.4 GHz.  I disabled completely the 5 GHz network in order to connect the printer, even though it shouldn't have any effect.

  I restarted my router and reset the printers wireless network using its integrated control panel.

  In any case, after a shameful 2 hours troubleshooting, I did discover that the printer WILL NOT CONNECT to the WIFI network if any security is applied against it.  It works 100% fine with open security however, it is totally unacceptable.

  I tried both WPA Personal and WPA2 Personal, both with the same effect.

  For reasons to try, I added also the printer to my network WIFI open and tried to manually change the setting WIFI via webinterface of printers, however, whenever I try and access the wireless configuration wizard, I simply get an error message saying "Internal system error" - eventually I managed to work around this another bug that has been there for years (see http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Networking-and-Wireless/Internal-System-Error-prevents-access-t...

  After installing printers web interface WIFI, the problem is always the same and it does not connect.

  HP, we were in the order of 2500 of these printers for users of our remote site.  If you don't come to the top with a quick solution/bug fixed, consider the lost business!

  After playing well, I managed to find a solution for this!

  For all users who are unable to find a solution by using the other methods, here's what to do.

  Change your local network to open the safe but note your WIFI settings for your default installation.

  Connect the printer to the open network the HP software (via USB cable)

  Go to the URL of the printer, but make sure that you connect through HTTPS - if you get an internal system error, keep refreshing until it works (WHAT A JOKE!)

  Click on 'Network', then click 'Advanced' on the left.

  Enter the network settings as they need to be secured.

  Downstairs, check "in an infrastructure network, use 802. 11b / g behavior (assuming that your assisted supports g, otherwise use the b only option), then click on apply.

  Turn on your wireless security, on your router and then the printer should connect!

  I am really confused as to why this is not automatically enabled, if the printer is not working with security on a Wireless N network wireless, then have this as the default!

  On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here, but I guess that there must be a mistake.

  At first be sure that your router is working properly and the WIFI is enabled it.

  Check it please as next step WLAN on your laptop satellite. Open the Device Manager and check if the WLAN card is installed and registered properly. Next step is to activate the card wireless network on your computer.

  If your laptop is the WLAN light remember that power is on. If everything is OK check if your WLAN is visible for your laptop.

• Time Capsule has lost the Internet connection and DNS servers

  I use a Time Capsule for Time Machine via Ethernet backups for a couple of years, use it in mode bridge taking its Internet connection directly from my router and connected in turn by Ethernet to my iMac. (Most of the time that I also had wifi off on my iMac and took my Internet directly via the TC Ethernet connection.) A few months ago I upgraded to El Capitan, and the TC has lost its connection Internet (flashing yellow). A few days later I drove back to the Yosemite (for other reasons - Mail had gone mad) to restore a backup of the TC and everything was fine again for a few months. It may or may not be meaningful I plugged TC yesterday to new laptop for my wife to support for the first time, and this laptop is running El Capitan. Since then, the TC has once more lost its Internet connection and DNS settings and is stuck on flashing orange. By clicking on the 'Internet connection' status alert, tells me that the TC is not a valid IP address.

  

  I have reset the TC, repeatedly and reconfigured but all without success. After consulting the other discussions, I also tried giving the unit an alphanumeric name with no spaces & special characters and change the IPv6 "Link-local" configuration only, but this did not affect the result. And I updated the firmware for good measure. Then I unplugged overnight and carried out a full power cycle the steps recommended here, restart the router, TC and the computer (and performed a factory reset on the TC, while the router & computer was turned off). After doing that, the TC has become undetectable by AirPort Utility, until I have reset reconfigured once again, he and ended up in the same place.

  It may or may not be important to mention the following:

  1 when you set the TC after a reset, I repeatedly selected the option of adding to an existing network instead of create a network, but the installation wizard who ignored each time.

• myRIO LabView Network Configuration, can not [SAVE] connection to activate the WIFI running.

  Recently acquired a new myRIO of NOR.  Now implementing the WIFI option on the Configuration Page of network OR.

  The instructions ask to press the [SAVE] button, but save it button is not active, only two

  other buttons are active, the [Certificate Management] button and the [refresh] button.

• The WiFi symbol indicates "!" even when properly connected

  Suddenly the WiFi symbol in the notification panel started showing "!" whenever connected to WiFi. I know what means the exclamation mark with the WiFi symbol. But in my case, even when I am connected to WiFi and can download apps and surfing, the WiFi symbol always an exclamation point. I tried a hard reset. It worked fine which is the WiFi symbol was back to normal as before until I restarted the device. After the first reboot I have faced the same problem, i.e. the exclamation point with the WiFi symbol even if it is properly connected. Tried clearing cache and also entered the mode without failure, but nothing helped. Is there a solution to this?

  PS - Did not change anything. The bootloader is locked.

  Have you used mobile data on SIM2 before connecting the WiFi?

  I have the same problem after the lollipop. Figured out that exclamation point appears them on WiFi sign only after I used mobile data on SIM2. When I use mobile data on SIM1 and then turn on WiFi, everything is OK (the WiFi sign is without '! ")

  So how you can solve this problem:

  1 turn off WiFi

  2. activate the mobile data on SIM1. Wait for that 'H' or 'E' sign indicating that mobile data sucessfully working. Put access point sometimes lost: mobile networks goto-> Access point names and be sure that this radio button is active.

  3. turn on the WiFi. Now, there is no exclamation point!

  And if you use mobile data on a single SIM card. just swap the SIM card in the first slot.

  Surely this is a bug. Big bug in Lollipop for Dual SIM MOTORCYCLE G. Motorola's remedy.

  Do you see a logo anywere wlan on your cpu (the logo must be under this text). If so turn on it could be like a touchscreen or there could be a switch. If there is a light on the switch or assimilated to the switch, it should be (in most cases) blue.

  Dell Inspiron 1545 used to successfully connect to the Wireless - is not now.
  It can detect the wireless avialable link, but not connect to it.
  Nothing has been changed before the top of what is happening.

  The router itself is fine and other devices connect to it without problem.
  The laptop connects with the ethernet cable plugged in fine.

  I have tried the following to the correct question:

  * Full re - install Windows 7 / Windows complete update
  * Re-install the drivers from the dell site.
  * Reset the router to the factory settings
  * IP Config renew / empty dns etc... etc...
  * Laptop does not connect to other wifi
  * Uninstalled antivirus / Firewall etc...

  Could it be a hardware failure?

  You may need to deselect Auto-Join and/or auto-connect on some networks in captivity. Otherwise, it may seem to connect for a second or two, only to disconnect immediately, leaving you without the possibility to open a session.

• Can not connect to the WiFi on MacMini 2014

  When I try to connect to any WiFi on my MacMini it says ' Unable to join, try to get closer the router. but the router is right next to my Macmini.

• Internet connection no longer works unless I have disconnect and reconnect the wifi regularly

  I find that after a time random, maybe twenty minutes a half an hour or so, my internet connection breaks down and it can only be fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting to my wifi network.

  It is a problem on my iMac of retina 2014 running El Capitan and 2011 MacBook Air my wife running Mountain Lion (but not on my MacBook Air of 2011 which takes place in Yosemite).

  It does not seem to be triggered by almost anything, but it's maddening to have to do all the time. It's a router NetGear btw, less than a year.

  If anyone has a solution I'd love to hear it!
