HPTouchSmart 520PC: SDHC card download

I have problems to download from an SDHC card.    In the latest that I had to do was insert the card and the pictures have been uploaded.   I now get a pop-up on the lower left corner of my screen that says simply SDHC.    I'm lost for what to do.

Under 'Computer', right-click on your digital camera (that you mentioned the icon) and then click on "import pictures and videos".

I have a Dell Dimension E520 with Windows Vista desktop computer... The disc/sdhc 8 GB card works fine in my camera...   When I put the sdhc card into its slot in my computer to download photos/videos of the card on my computer, everything that happens is a green light near the slot lights up. It is possible that your media player is not compatible

  • Is it possible to edit photos on a media on my iMac SDHC card before loading on my iMac

Is it possible to edit photos on a SDHC card using my iMac, before loading the pictures changed on the iMac?

Yes but it depends on no doubt what application you use photo editing I guess. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and I can edit directly on the map of the camera if I want and download images to the iMac or elsewhere. I just did as a test on the card from the camera, but normally I upload the images on my desktop first and then go from there.

  • Re: Satellite U400 - Toshiba SD Format Utility works do not with SDHC card

I bought a Toshiba U400-10 opportunity and I am in the process of cleaning in Vista 64 stall.
Everything seems to work except 2 utilities.

Toshiba SD Format and Boot Toshiba SD utilities.
I guess that they do not work because I am trying to format a SDHC card and the utilities are not compatible with SDHC cards (SD only).

I hope that someone can confirm my suspicions.
    Thanks in advance.

Download the manuals for this machine and check the list of all supported cards that can be used with it.
You can download manuals on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_manuals.jsp

By the way: this old machine works perfectly with Win7 32 bit. Why you n t use Win7? It is much better than Vista.

  • Satellite L40 - cannot read with Windows XP SDHC cards?

    Hello

last year, I bought a Satellite L40 series and a Windows Vista has been installed on it. I found that everything worked properly.

Since then, I found that Windows Vista is slower than XP, I upgraded to Windows XP and I installed all the drivers manually. Everything works fine until I found that I can read only SD card with the Ricoh card reader on my laptop. With Windows Vista, he could read SD and SDHC.

Like all of my files saved to the SDHC, I really want to solve this issue.

I detected on the computer that is my card reader equipment:

Ricoh Memory Stick Host controller (1.0.2.5)
    Ricoh MMC Host COntroller (1.0.0.9)
    Ricoh XD-Picture Card Host Controller (1.00.02.08 / 6.0.1.13)

    The questions are:
    1. the drive to read SDHC card with the Windows XP platform?
    2. If Yes, what should I do with it? Maybe I need to install a new driver? (If Yes, where can I find it?)

Thank you for your concern. I'm really happy if you can help me solve this issue.

    Best regards
    Jenny

    Hello

You may notice yellow exclamation in Device Manager?

Normally, the Satellite L40 can read SDHC cards up to 8 GB so my question is have you tried different brands of SDHC cards?
I have good experiences with Kingston and SanDisk cards.

In addition, you should check the Web from Toshiba site for an update of the card reader:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

Last but not least you have installed all the Service Packs and updates for Windows?

  • Equium M70 does support 4 GB or 8 GB SDHC card

    Could someone help please?

My computer laptop readings (1 GB) fine standard sd cards,.
However, I want to buy a 4 GB or 8 GB SDHC to transfer the photos from my camera on my laptop, then on my ipod.

Impossible to find info in manual

    The answers really appreciated

    Thank you, Mark

    Hello!

Equium M70 only supports SD cards up to 1 GB, so the SDHC cards will not work.

You can find this information in the user manual. I checked and so, I know this.
If you don t have the user manual, you can download it on the Toshiba site.

  • SDHC card do not work on the Satellite A200-1J0 with a clean Vista install

    Greetings,

When I bought this laptop he had 32-bit Vista preinstalled and as usual some Toshiba drivers and software. As I remember there wasn't that no problem with no built in memory card reader, he read regular SD and SDHC cards.

One day I had to reinstall the operating system (without using the recovery disc) and I downloaded the drivers for my laptop's official website, install and the card reader now is not able to read SDHC cards. Is it me?

That's what I installed for the reader:

-Toshiba Value Added Package, where is TOSHIBA Flash Cards inside
    -Flashmedia driver
    Utilities - SD

I just want to underline that there is no problem with reading mmc or normal sd cards.
My sdhc card is 100% works correctly with other card readers.
Another sdhc card I have does not work, it's just that I put anything inside the player.

    Just nothing happens.
Is there something else that I missed, and it is the reason for my problem?

No fix for Vista or something like that?

    Hello

You the problem with SD cards are certainly related to the software I think that your drivers/utilities are installed isn't properly (in order) or on Vista may miss something.

    Maybe you don t know what important thing;
It is very important to install the driver (no matter that drivers;) XP or Vista) in the right order.
For most an installation instruction is placed on the page of the European driver Toshiba, which contains the essential installation order.

As I m not wrong not the A200-1J0 belongs to the series PSAE6E and you must choose this series first to get all the compatible drivers for you series.

    By the way;

The Flash Media Driver is a bridge Media Slot driver. This slot allows you to insert an SD card, Memory Stick (Pro) or xD picture cards.
The SD utilities contains utility Format SD Memory Card and other SD functions like utility of SD memory.

These three applications are very important to use SD cards.

    Download a driver?

    Did anyone know about this?

    Hello

Yes, the bridge media slot supports different maps.

But as far as I know this info can be found in the user manual ;)

  • Does my SX260 read jpg that I browsed PhotoShop and loaded onto an SDHC card

I use pictures originally taken with the camera. I'll download and treat them with PhotoShop. Then, I use a card reader to load them onto an SDHC card, which I then put in the camera. The question is to know if I'll be able to see the images on the screen of the device changed.

At the time, YES. When you take a card with pictures of the camera & watch on your computer, you will see a folder called DCIM, and in this folder, you will find a (variable name) with your images. Replace images within this folder & the camera will see them perfectly.

    Are you running Windows XP?

You should be able to format the card using the camcorder
menu... Check your camcorder owner's manual...

And FWIW... formatting the card erases the content... If you
having useful files on the map do not format.

Another thought... If you are running Windows XP, it is possible
that your system is not compatible with the SDHC technology.
If you have an external media player, it may be worth trying to
Remove the camcorder SDHC card and insert it in the
Media player. This can help you to download video.

  • I want to better understand the support of SDHC cards.

I have a HP Pavilion DV3 running under Windows 7 64-bit.  I saw that the standard response to messages that you can use SD, but this is not true.  I can put a 8 GB SDHC card in the SD slot and it will be read/write it.  So if I buy a young (say class 6) SDHC 16 GB can I put in the SD slot and the read/write to that?  Wil support for laptop speed class 6?  Otherwise if I buy an SDXC card, put it in my camera and link to my camera using a USB cable, can I download my pictures and videos on the laptop?  I've combed through all the documents that I can find, and it is not written on.

    Kevin,

    It will always work.

Until the cameras no longer use the USB dongles/outputs.  / Edit

  • Cannot read an SDHC card in Windows Vista SP2

Hey, I bought a SanDisk Ultra II 8 GB SDHC card some time ago card for my camera.
While I might as well use the cable for my photos, I also have a built-in card reader fit with a hybrid MS/SD/MMC slot.
Although none of my MemorySticks seem to have a problem reading, reading of the SDHC card is simply impossible.
The light is just green flicker, then after awhile it just turns off while the Device Manager freezes.
I tried to install the fix of the so-called related to this problem, but it seems not to apply to my system.
My system is Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 installed.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

    Yes. Download a SDHC reader.

Although the SD and SDHC cards look alike, as do readers SD and SDHC,
    they are not the same.
