• HTML 5 output & Actionscript Question...

  Hello

  I was wondering if Actionscript is still a viable language?  It will work with HTML 5 output?  (A kind of conversion at the time of publication)?  Or maybe I'm better using JavaScript?  I'm a total newbie when it comes to Animate/Flash.  I used Flash back in the days of Macromedia, but ever since!  I did a job on board animate.  In any case, to stay on the point: what would be the ideal way to script in Animate?

  AS3, this is what you would use for (other than mobile) web applications, desktop AIR apps, apps Android and iOS. At the moment the majority of what people will use is AS3.

  If you do HTML5 Canvas and WebGL, you have no choice but to use Javascript.

  So, the ideal way to script depends on what you are doing.

  I still not understand what you are asking. All existing Adobe tools are 'HTML 5 compliant' as they follow formatting HTML 5 specifications and support all of the current tags, functions and methods. The magic sauce is to understand the details of the generated code and what HTML 5 features they use and of course that's debatable, if Muse bloated code is 'best practice', but otherwise there is not much to it. In DW you just set the level HTML will be strict HTML 5, but which still prevents anyone to use legacy code, even if the program he noted with its syntax highlighting. Similarly, people could inject 'bad code' for example with side Server edition or by using a snippet of a third party that is not a complaint. I'm afraid that you are looking for a simplistic solution, without taking into account all sides.

  To improve performance by reducing the components UI ADF jspx, I have a few questions.
  -Can I use div instead of panelGroupLayout tag?
  -If I have the opportunity to use the div instead panelGroupLayout to some places is it advisable to use the HTML div tag?

  To improve the ADF performance trying to introduce mechanisms for setting cache or compression for static JavaScript and CSS because ADF loads a lot of JavaScript.

  Your example is a context menu and is usually scheduled as part of an operating system or application, with the choice of the menu that offers other functions of the application. It would be really handy create this kind of feature for a standalone PDF document.

  Hi, I'm looking for a copy of FrameMaker 12.

  While I can do a lot with the settings available in the dialog box publish, there still doesn't seem to be possible to include objects from Master Pages or reference Pages in CHM output?

  When you use TechCommSuite, I can work around this by applying "Master Pages" within RoboHelp (for example to add a standard footer to each theme and with a small logo of declaration and copyright society).

  It's not like there's a way to do it with the command post of Frame12? Or am I missing something?

  If you look in the outputs > General properties of the publication settings page, there is now an option to import the HTML template file. The option type of works in a way bass-ackwards, you click on the box first, then you get a window to select the file and then you must click on the button import.

  is the correct code.  Use an alert box in your javascript to ensure function is called and "main content" is spent properly.  Once you get that straight, you can start debugging your javascript.

• Are there already experiments with FM 2015, scaling of the image to its original size in the HTML output

  FM 12 provides the following procedure (as read in the manual) to see the images in original size in the HTML output. I did and was happy. But now in 2015 of the FM, the operation is no more.

FM 12 it worked fine. The result was, that the style to the statement tag < img > is deleted in the HTML code output, so that the images keep their original size. But now in 2015 FM it seems there is a bug. The same procedure has the effect that the style statement is in the HTML (is not deleted) and width and height are on 0x0pt. The result is that all the images are invisible. If I disabled 'Preferred size' images in the HTML output are always scaled down in a 'random' size, nobody knows where it comes and how I can trouble or spend that in 2015 scaling of FM.

  There was a bug in the publication process of FrameMaker for which we had planned a work around to set the width and height 0pt. Now we have fixed the issue when you set 0pt as the width images will no longer appear.

  Now in your output images will seem to have the same size, such that they appear in the documents of source if preferred size is not defined. If this isn't the case, you can share your example of source document so that we can have a look.

• Receptive HTML TOC

  I have tried the release of a sensitive HTML (FM/RoboHelp HTML) my output project not poster not the table of contents in the left margin as the content of the heading displayed on the right. This makes clumsy navigation from topic to topic. The table of contents, isn't supposed to be displayed at the same time? The skins of sample for office together show the reactive HTML TOC and content of the topic. So why it is not combined in my output?  What is going on?

  I was hoping I could use HTML Responsibe because our management does not use ActiveX that are incorporated in the WebHelp controls. Management also doesn't want us to use FlashHelp. They both seem like "threats to security".  I tried to use Microsoft HTML help, but I just heard of this forum as these chm files cannot be saved to a web server, which is how distribute us the content.

  I'm running out of options, so I'll try sensitive HTML. But the TOC and display of the content in the topic makes navigation very difficult and boring.

  Any suggestions? Please help and thanks much for all your support previsous.

  Betsy, I thought that I explained the problem of tool earlier in the thread. Maybe you missed it? Or maybe you didn't fully understand what was said. In this case, I offer the following.

  During the generation of the output, the JavaScript code is involved. And it doesn't really matter if it's Multiscreen, receptive, WebHelp and FlashHelp.

  When Microsoft Internet Explorer attempts to present the content, it normally issues a warning on "ActiveX controls". The thing is, it's sort of a 'false positive '. A bit like FIRE smell smoke and screaming without knowing, there is fire.

  The main thing is that, although Microsoft Internet Explorer reports "ActiveX controls", there is no ActiveX control actually there. ONLY JavaScript. And this is the JavaScript code that triggers the message. As far as I know, IE only for this. And as I explained earlier, it does only when you open the content from your local hard drive. It does nothing and simply present the help when you open the content on a web server.

  I tried some of the existing scripts found here to collect information network switch port CDP natachasery on ESXi hosts.  These scripts assume that a host is queried or they connect to a server vCenter Server to collect a VMHost list.  When I try to connect to multiple ESXi hosts, that I will meet this error:

  The method call failed because [System.Object []] contains a method named "QueryNetworkHint".

  Can a PowerCLI script perform the next task?

  I wish that the script first to connect to multiple ESXi hosts that are not managed in vCenter.  The default Mode of the Get-PowerCLIConfiguration server has Multiple value so that "Get-VMHost" returns a list of the VMHosts.

  The script would then collect information from each bear on each host and export the results to the format of HTML table as shown in the example attached .htm.  I hope help with the section which gathers information for multiple ESXi hosts.
