  I can't play youtube videos or access games on facebook and some websites, I get only 1/2 the page. It seems that something is blocking my flash. It says that my flash is updated and also of shockwave. I have included 2 screenshots. I started in safe mode and nothing works. Works perfectly in google chrome. The problem is that firefox.   The old QuickTime plugin is no longer supported.  You will need to download the old files .mov on your hard drive and either play in the QuickTime application or something like the well-respected VLC player (https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html).

  I suggest you to rebuild the Windows media player library and check if the problem follow these steps:

  a. exit Windows Media Player.

  b. click Start, click Run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Playerand then click OK.

  c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

  Note: you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

  d. restart Windows Media Player.

  Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
