I have a memorex drive that used to be U3, it does not connect to win 7 Pro flash.

I have a memorex drive that used to be U3, it works with my XP machine and also in the Win 7 Pro 32 of this machine little but not in the 64 bits in the same machine (dual boot) flash. He works in a new machine to Win 7 Home premium 64-bit. What happens when it is plugged, it's that a connected sound appears the autorunwindow then disconnects and emits a sound then chirps connected twice more. It is not at all connected. Any ideas as to why it tries to install the second and third time. Obviously, the drive is very good and has been formatted several times. Installation of 64-bit problem is a new installation and other discs fine flsh.

U3 system was owned by Sandisk and they discontinued it.  You can find the method of removing the U3 and re - format @ u3.sandisk.com
