  • Home Vista Safe Mode does not start correctly. What should I do about it?

Hi, I was struck by an unknown number of bugs. I don't know how.  I ran my anti-virus software and could not find bugs. I tried to start in safe mode to run antivirus and Vista programs won't let me access Mode without failure. I turn on the computer, press F8 repeatedly until my options appear. I tried the Safe Mode and safe mode with networking Mode. In both conditions, Safe Mode begins to start. Crosses of approximately 42 drivers and comes to the black screen with the oversized arrow, then the computer restarts.  What can I do?  I can't access Safe Mode!

    Hello

I have experience blackheads on the dell splash screen, then it continues to the f1 f2 to Setup because I don't have a floppy drive, it is okay to continue. On this screen but I have blue dashes experience everywhere in this moving around every 20 seconds or more. When I hit f1 I get a low quality graphics Windows load bar and then a black screen after 5 to 10 seconds. Followed by a blue screen of death with the code 0x0000008e. Then restart. I then tried the F8 key and restored in a last known point that worked, does not solve my problem. Tried to boot in SafeMode (normal) and I get the blue wheel scrolling as it's almost here, and then a reboot without explanation. Also, I tried to move the cards gfx and switching of slot machines, this is not having an effect. But I noticed when using a card, I get a quick 5 beep at startup, then using the other card it works fine. Is a card? This would have an effect on my boot because of the missing material? original title: HELP for the installation of Win XP.

    Hi Jorge,.

So the only thing I can think is that it is a sort of master/slave thing.

Your IDE HDD will be a Knight, probably alongside where the power cable is inserted, to dictate whether the player will be considered to be a master, slave, or cable select. Assuming that it is the only HARD drive in the PC, make sure it is designated "master". Then, in the BIOS, make sure that the boot order is specified as HDD0 first (as opposed to HDDx where x is greater than zero).

In addition, assuming that the data cable is the new type of Ribbon with strands of 80, make sure that the blue connector of the IDE data cable is in the motherboard and that the end of the black connector is in the HARD disk and, if it is a two-disc data cable, do not use the gray connector.

There is no name on the back of my laptop sticker saying what product key to use. Thank you!

What virus? How did you know you had it? You run an anti-virus
the program? Which one? Is it updated? Why don't you use not to
    remove the virus?

So I had to upgrade to Windows 7,

Ugh! The upgrade to a different version of Windows does not remove a virus. In
did the upgrade when you have a problem is always a bad
thing to do and will be much more likely to make the problem worse than in
    solve it.

However, I have not the key product for Windows Vista or 7.

Where have you upgraded to Windows 7? Upgrade to a
legitimate version Windows7 is a bad thing, but if you went to one
a pirated version, it is likely to cause additional problems and you
are probably in trouble now and need to clean install a
copy legitimate of some versions of Windows.

Is there a way to set up in Windows Vista or 7 because
my product key for computers, which was at the back of it, has
has been deleted or worn. There is no name on the back of my
laptop computer sticker saying what product key to use. Thank you!

The product key on the back of your laptop is for what version of
Windows it came with and may not be used for all other versions. If you
don't have a product key for Vista or Windows 7, the laptop
no doubt supplied with XP. Is this correct?

If it came with XP, it is very old and it is almost certainly elsewhere
low power for Windows 7. In addition the drivers you need for Windows
7 there are almost certainly not, and you will not be able to run
    Windows 7 on it.

At this point, you are probably in trouble no matter what you do. You
must reinstall Windows XP itself, but you no longer have your
product key and you probably haven't a Windows XP CD no more. You
can try to ask the manufacturer of the laptop to a XP CD and product
key, but I doubt if you can get at this late date.

You can buy a copy of Windows 7, but once, you are likely in a way
low power for the drivers you need and it will be unavailable.

I am running windows vista on a PC laptop toshiba l300.  He did an automatic update of windows and this morning when I turn it on it will not load.  It comes with a screen saying download of updates please do not turn off your computer.  then, he turns his car on and keeps recycling through the same thing.

    Janhsmn,

If you do not want to install updates on your computer, you can select the "Hide" option and it will ignore them in the future and continue with other updates. Do not forget that the reason why the updates could be the cause of this problem would be because as a conflict with a third-party software. And most likely will not affect both your systems in the same way unless you have the same third party software installed on all your machines.

To hide the update in Windows Vista, please follow the steps below.
    1. click on 'start '.
    2. Type "Windows Update" and press on "Enter"(on the keyboard) ".
    3. Select "Search for updates"
    4. Select "View available updates"
5 right-click the update that is causing the problem and select "hide update"

  • XP Mode/VPC does not start on Windows 7 Ultimate upgraded from Vista Ultimate box

    1 Dell Studio 1735

2 initially loaded with 32 bit Vista Ultimate. Including one instance of VPC 2007 carrying a XP Pro Virtual Machine

3 before moving on to 32-bit Windows 7 compatibility check was done and recommended applications, including VPC 2007, have been uninstalled.

4 Windows 7 upgrade was performed without incident or error and to end all applications and data were good.

5 installed, strictly in accordance with the files of the web videos etc., XPMode, VPC and WindowsXPMode.  Once again without incident or error.

6 in the execution either XPMode or VPC ago approximately 45 seconds of the busy HARD disk activity and then nothing.

7 I have a backup image of the original disc loaded with Vista as it was before step 1, above, I have tried several variations on a theme whose hardware virtualization on and off the power, order of the file install etc. but nothing helps

8 to prove the process and installation files, I did a clean load of Windows 7 then XPMode etc. on some old iron P4 and it worked a treat.  I'm actually surprised by not only it installed at all, but by the way it currently works on an area that was originally intended to spend the rest of his eternal life as a dump.

My conclusion is that VPC 2007 uninstall is not clean; He leaves legacy shrapnel (register?) in the system which is farce VPC.  Note that the result is consistent on several uninstalls, step 7, above.

Question; as the XPMode function is essential and will determine if a quantity of boxes are to move from Vista to Windows 7 where only once from here?
