I'm copying of DVDs telling me that my c: drive is not enough space

How can I make room I can use my flash drive and move files

I did have a good cleaner anyway for a long shot

Double files such things know a good

You copy DVD to DVD... DVD on your computer?

You can use a flash drive and delete your documents and files on it. But beware if the flash player breaks so his good night to these files. Its good to have things recorded in several places.

I would say to empty your bin recycling and reducing the amount it uses. Get rid of folders, that you don't need. Maybe backup DVD. Using the windows program disk cleanup. Uninstall programs that you no longer use.  Here are all the right zones first.

  • Windows 7 says that my drive is not enough space - when it is almost empty.

I've been moving files from one disk of 1 TB on an empty 2 TB drive. So far, I moved on 200 GB on 2 TB drive. Twice today for moving groups of files that were 3 to 10 GB, my machine was told that he was not "enough space" on the reader target when there was, indeed, 1.6 TB of space empty remaining. After clicking on the 'try' new 'button' about 15 or 20 times, the machine is softened and allows me to move the files.

The target disk is new and has no bad sectors and on which I run chkdsk today.  I never saw this problem in Windows XP.

Taking into account the comment of Joel, what it has always been faster use copy it / stick and then delete the old file that order, use the command move.

  • Lightroom 5.6 - Application Manager keeps telling me that the serial number is not valid.

I want to activate 5.6 Lightroom. The application manager keeps telling me that my serial number is not valid. This is not the case. I bought it via Amazon.de and it worked a few months when I could always install Lightroom without the creative cloud. All solutions? Thank you!

See this thread for the info you need. You are probably trying to activate the version creative Cloud with your license key.

  • not enough space to copy the files

Using a 1 GB SD card with ~ 500 Mb of free space. Try to copy a file 1.8 MB it says there is not enough free space to complete the operation. Emptied the trash, restarted-still same problem. Any file I try to copy.

Could be a corrupted file system. Copy all the files off the card and reformat.

  • Try Powershell Copy-Item, get the message "there is not enough space on the disk.

    I'm using Powershell 2.

I'm trying to copy a file, not very complicated.

    Copy-item D:\Outgoing\tsc.sqb D:\Incoming

    I get this:

Copy-Item: there is not enough space on the disk.
    On line: 1 char: 10
    + Copy-item<  d:\outgoing\tsc.sqb="">
    + CategoryInfo: NotSpecified: (:)) [Copy-Item], IOException)
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId: System.IO.IOException, Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.CopyItemCommand

If I replace Copy-Item by Move-Item, everything works fine. I didn't ' t want to move the file, however, simply copy it.

Any ideas? Files is 230 KB or more.

    Hello

You may have a serious problem that you can't solve yourself.

Click Start > computer > see if D: is the recovery drive and in this case it must be sized anywhere between 5-15GBs about.

If it fits this description, you should contact the manufacturer of your computer, as they placed this hard disk recovery disk.

The recovery disk is placed there only for you to reinstall the operating system if you have a bad system crash recovery disk to reinstall the operating system in the event of total failure of the hard drive.

The recovery disk is cannot be used for these purposes.

The manufacturer will help you fix it.

If this is not the recovery disk please post back.

    See you soon.

  • Trying to extend the c drive with space unallocated in diskpart.exe - I get the message that there is not enough space. what I am doing wrong?

DiskPart.exe help - not enough space - I have more than 5 GB of unallocated space. trying to expand the C: drive

    Hello mark_kman,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

It sounds as if you have multiple partitions. Disk management and DiskPart extends the volume with a focus on the next contiguous unallocated space. For basic volumes, the unallocated space must be on the drive and must follow (have a plu sector offset number than) the partition with focus.

If you are looking at disk management, this means that, if you look at your partition C: the unallocated space MUST be located directly to the right of the C: partition. If you have another partition between the two, you will be allowed to extend the partition directly to the left of the unallocated space.

This could be a work around, if you have C: and D: and have files on D: but have more space.

-D: shrink to create just enough unallocated space to store your files located on D:.
-Create a new partition with unallocated space to move your files.
-Move your D: files to your new partition.
-Now, to delete the D: partition

This creates unallocated space between your C: partition and the new partition that you created to move your files.

-Now right click on your C: partition and extend as usual.

    Hope this helps

  • Could you please let me know if Flash Player will inform a user that its system requirements are not enough when you try to use a version of Flash Player?

    Hello

Could you please let me know if Flash Player will inform a user that its system requirements are not enough when you try to use a version of Flash Player?

    Concerning

    It depends, but generally, no..

Guidelines for the minimum system requirements are especially on what we and won't fix the bugs for.  Flash Player probably works on Windows Server 2000 and we will not intentionally break it or prevent you from installing, but we will also not fix it if it breaks.  In cases where it will crash on launch or some other out-of-box horrible experience, like trying to install on a Mac PowerPC, then we will prevent pure and simple installation.

Your Windows Xp disk is missing from the sata/raid drivers to detect the hard drive. This problem can be solved in two ways that I know.

First of all, you can slipstream the drivers in the creation of a new disk of Windows Xp disc. Second, you can enter your bios and disable the ahci.

Try a new Folder.dbx file. Reboot when finished.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

The path to the message will be very similar to this:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook Express

With OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it.  Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

    Note these possible side effects:

When you re - start OE, it will build a new index of all *.dbx files it can read and create a new Folders.dbx. However, understand that you will lose the mail directory structure and message rules will probably have to be edited.
