• Firefox crashes when trying to download files

  For the last two days, Firefox crashed every time I have try and download something, even in safe mode. Even if I do not actively download and I just want to watch my downloads box to clear the list it breaks down. In fact, crashes maybe not the right word, it freezes just straight up and I have to use the Task Manager to close it. Apart from that, I got no problem with navigation. I can always download without any problem with Internet Explorer and Chrome.

  Also note that firefox 10 upgrades have been suspended, and now released Firefox 10.0.1. One of the problems that set is related to the use of java hook; that may turn out to be the problem you are having.
