• [SOLVED + Sample Code] Need help with selector/addChild

  Hello all, I tried to avoid asking questions without looking up everything I could, but even it's a little difficult right now with like new as is everything.

  In any case, I'll have trouble here add a selector in my opinion. I am new to the development of BB and DEVELOPING as well, so I learn that I will, but I'm getting very frustrated by the lack of useful errors I get. Looks like a problem and the service, I'm just stops treatment and said nothing.

  So I try to use some of the example for the DatePicker code that has been published in the examples. I couldn't get this to work, so I took out just a small part of trying to create a selector to leave, but once I try to do an addChild (pick); just, the function stops the treatment and acts like it's done.

  Here is the code I have right now:

  As you can see, I'm creating the selector in the viewActivateHandler function. I'll put the text into two textarea elements different just to debug. In the State, the taDesc.text = "blah"; works very well, but he never even gets to taAmount.text = "test";

  Since it just silently fails without telling me anything useful (and I have yet to get any kind of work of debugging on the Simulator), I can't really say why it's a failure, but it's definitely on the addChild (pick); I cannot comment on what a single line of output and it makes all along.

  Someone at - it none seen why it hangs on the addChild?

  I appreciate the help!
