Desktop will not load. Error at startup messages.

When I try to boot my laptop, I get the application lsass.exe application error failed to initialize (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application.  When I click ok I get the savedump.exe Application error message the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application.  The two error messages appear twice.  I tried to reboot in safe mode and with the right configuration of lastknown, but everything that happens after the windows xp loading screen finishes is a white screen with the mouse pointer.  I can't do anything else that move the mouse around nothing else arises.

Spike Dude:
There are little hope if you do not have the restore of windows or partition disc.  If your computer manufacturer included a System Restore partition on the hard drive there is a second part of your hard drive that has all the data needed to restore windows.  You will need to read the manual or talk to the technicians of the manufacturer of the system in order to find a way to 'trigger' restoration program.   Usually, it is a function key pressed as you start-up, after the bios, but before the windows screen "splash."
If your computer is not this, but he came not with the drive, it is likely that there is an option to burn the disc when you got the computer, but you probably missed this option (most do).  If this is the case, even if you were able to get the computer started he would burn probably one infected or bad copy of files so it wouldn't help anyway.  Most PC manufacturers will sell copies of restore disks for anywhere from 10 to 50 dollars more shipping charges.  I had an experience with Dell where they charged $ 50 for a one-time-tech disturbances (because it was out of warranty) and records sent in this framework.  Other times I was able to buy the disc for about $ 18 and avoid calls of several it took.  I think it depends on if your system was built.

The short answer is that if you do not have the restore/os install discs, to get them, if you can not, there is little hope of the problem easily.

I suggest that you download and install OpenOffice.  It is FREE and is open to all documents created in MS Office.  If it doesn't, at least it costs you nothing to try.

I used OpenOffice for years.  Believe me when I say that he will do everything that will make MS Office and in some cases, the better.  At least, you will have to use in the future and you'll be amazed to see how they can do it for FREE.

  • Tried to turn off my computer and it froze. Now, the desktop does not load and I get a message saying that Windows Explorer is not responding

    Original title: virus Possible?

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium on a Toshiba laptop. The last time I tried to stop it, it froze (got as far as the last screen showing 'close', then didn't). The next time I turned it on the desktop would not load completely (white screen, no desktop icons, accesses start bar) and if I click on the desktop I get a message saying "Windows Explorer is unresponsive. I tried to scan antivirus, but that also froze. I ran Microsoft defender several times, and it always freezes on C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe. While I can access internet Explorer, I can't click on the links that would open a new page (gel once more). Finally I can't yet do a reboot or a full stop. If it's a virus, how can I solve the problem when no anti-virus software is running?

Here's what I use and recommend: (these are all free and very effective versions.)

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with all I have
launched on them. Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven to be very
reliable and compatible. Use MSE or Avast and Prevx, Prevx 3 but not all.

Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except leave the file system, Web,.
Operational network (Script and behavior are also recommended in Ver 6 +).

    Prevx - Home - free

    Windows Firewall

Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

    Protected IE - mode

IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
(It may temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom
    right of IE)

Avast - home - free - 7.x stop shields you do not use (except files, Web, network, &)
Shields of behavior) - double click on the icon in the Notification area - real time Orange - click on the
Shield that you want to stop - STOP. To stop the Orange icon to show an error indicator-
Click on the Orange icon - top right - settings - click on the status bar - uncheck shields you
    disabled - click OK

Or use Microsoft Security Essentials - free
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast

Prevx - home - free small, fast, exceptional protection CLOUD, working with other security
programs. It is a single scanner, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something come back here
or use Google to see how to remove.

Choice of PCmag editor - Prevx-

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever think malware and that
would be unusual with Avast and occasional Prevx running with the exception of a low level cookie
(not much), to UPDATE and then run it as a scanner. I have a lot of scanners and they
never find anything of note that I started to use this configuration.

  • Windows XP will not load past the Blue error screen

Hi, wondering for a while if someone can help me...

My xp system will not load past the Blue error screen that is displayed when the computer stopped suddenly or inadequate.

No matter what are the measures that you choose to take (safe mode, the most recent configurations... etc) the system will just beyond the blue screen on the windows logo download page, where the loading bar moves about 10 seconds before returning to the blue loading page.

So far I have tried to leave the computer as long as an unused months while I was abroad, remove the battery for varying amounts of time and leaving the computer as long as a day.

In the absence of a recovery disk, I have no idea how to do to return to the form and would like to receive advice or suggest, keeping in mind I'm not a computer genius (if had'nt you may have guessed). Preferably, without losing my element pictures and videos stored on the hard drive, but it's just preference.

    Hello

It does not seem good friend if the Windows operating system does not start even using safe mode, then I don t think you will be able to run the operating system without new OS reinstallation. :(

To back up data from the HARD drive I recommend that you connect the internal HARD drive to external USB HDD controller and a backup of the HARD drive on another computer.

Then you could try to reinstall the operating system on your laptop using the Toshiba Recovery CD

    Hello ShawnKohl,

We can also try to go back to a time where he worked with system restore.

Once this has been done, check the hat of Windows updates are available and hide the audio driver updates that are available.

    System Restore:

    Windows XP - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084

    Windows Vista/7 - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore

Please note that in addition to that, the advice of the previous poster remains true: we want to get the latest audio driver on the system of the manufacturer.

My computer is a Dell... It has 2.40 Ghz processor and 1 Gig of Ram... But it tells me my computer will not load Windows 8... Why?

    Can anyone explain that?

Yes, your CPU or the motherboard doesn't have the ability to run hardware D.E.P., so there is no chance of running the Preview Release of 8-all somehow.

There is the possibility to set the nx or xd bit in the bios and the cpu to support it as well.

The error message is not known to me and also looking in google didn t get advice.
Maybe your Windows operating system is confusing upward.

Have you tried to boot Win 7 in safe mode?
Try this. Restart your laptop, press the F8 key.
In advanced startup options, select the option called Mode without failure.

If the laptop does not start Safe Mode, try the last good known Configuration option.

If this n t help, try to fix my computer. Here, you can choose between different settings.
Who could solve that problem is HARD drive recovery that helps you define the notebook to factory settings. But it also means that your disk should be formatted!

    So be aware of this!
