  • Return to the home screen of the App

    Hi guys,.

I installed my WebWorks and the app SketchPad was correctly executed on a simulator, although .

Now, I have some questions for you guys:

    (1) I am inside my sketchbook app and want to return to the home screen (I mean Office of the PlayBook). How can I do this?

    (2) how can I know what to do for PlayBook and can they do with mouse (Swipe)?

    (3) where can I see a list of all the applications installed on the PB?

I'll come with some questions for you guys.

Many thanks for any help in this regard,

    yosoh

    1) click your mouse on the bottom bevel (a black bar that surrounds the PlayBook screen) and drag it upward, upward.  This will minimize the app, and you can close it from there.

    (2) touch interactions with WebWorks come the WebKit engine underlying, that supports the TouchStart event, touchstart and TouchMove (as well as all mouse events too).  Application gestures will have to be implemented on your own.  This is possible thanks to the time tracking & location of events sequential touch measure the direction and speed of a given 'gesture'.

    3) click on the category 'All' from the home screen to see all applications.

  • iMac returns to the login screen once logged on 10.11.6 version

After you install the update for El Capitan 10.11.6 my iMac (21.5 "mid-2010) returns to just login screen after I connect.  The disc is fine and the permissions are correct.  I can start safe mode and connect without problems.  Any ideas?

    Greetings JPfromFairfield,

Thanks for your post. I see that your Mac goes back to the login screen after you connected. You mentioned that you have done to ensure that the disc is fine and the permissions are good. Those who are very advanced. I know how much I rely on my Mac so I'll be more than happy to help.

With your computer is able to start properly in Mode safe, this indicates that there may be a third-party service that is causing problems. I have some articles for you to check.

OS X El Capitan: If you have problems with startup items

OS X El Capitan: login users & groups preferences pane items

You can remove all items start and the login items, and then test to see if you can boot normally, if you can, you can add one item at a time and continue his tests to see how the origin of the problem.

    Take care!

  • How can I return to a split-screen configuration?

While I have is on a business trip, a colleague shared my computer and somehow changed the appearance of my Inbox a mode full-screen. I want to return to the split screen that allows me to see my emails and read the highlight in split-screen format, I had originally.

Please keep your discussion on this topic. Do not PM me. Other people could benefit from the discussion.

You say that pressing F8 does not turn on the message pane? You are in the main window with your Inbox showing right?

In the Menu select View-Layout bar. Message pane is checked?

No Menu bar? Press the ALT key.

If it is checked, and still no message pane, maybe he dragged the bottom of the screen. Move your mouse down to the margin at the bottom of the screen and look for that to change in a double headed arrow. When it click and drag to the top to see if you can pull the top of the message pane.

  • IPad2 can jump from apps, return to the home screen

IPad2 keeps jumping by apps to return to the home screen.  Have tried the suggestions and have visited Apple Store twice without success.  Still do!

    Hi Dsimonian,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

I understand that when you are in some different applications on your iPad, you are taken back to the home screen unexpectedly.

Without knowing the previous steps, you're done, my suggestions will be to start with some basic troubleshooting. If this scenario plays in only a few different applications, I would first of all close applications completely by following the instructions in the following article.

Force an app to close iOS - Apple Support

Once these applications are closed, restart your iPad.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

If the problem persists, please let us know more about the troubleshooting steps you have already performed. This only happens with a specific application, multiple applications, or all your apps? How many times does that happen?

    Best!

I just install an update of Adobe Reader and find now that I've lost all screen savers. Please can someone explain how I can get them all back!

    Hello

try a restore of the system before this happened

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

If necessary do in safe mode

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.
  • Persistent image of "shadow" appears on all screens

Windows 7 OEM version installed by Dell.  Worked without problem for the few months that I got it.  Since yesterday, what appears to be a "shadow" of perhaps an empty text entry box appears on all screens, all applications.  I have no idea what application can be generated, or how to remove it.  It is not selectable and non adjustable.

Is it possible to understand what this generates?

Here is a link to a screenshot that shows what I'm talking about: http://screencast.com/t/ZjM0ZTJj

I don't have another defined (other than "Guest") account.  I created a new user to test and passed to it.  The false image was not present.  I went then on my normal account (Administrator), and the image was gone, either.  Then I deleted the test account.

So I guess the problem is determined, or at least is no longer visible.  I note, however, that when I went to my normal account, I had lost my Office customization - at least to the extent where all the icons have been reset to a different size and were placed in different positions than in my usual arrangement. What is happening with this?

    Thanks for your help.

  • Return to the main screen

    Hello...

I have 3 screens... when the user makes a click of a button in the screen has... I send screen b... and when the user to click a button in this screen I send to (C) of the screen

Now I have to put a button on the screen that the user can return to the screen has... (home) if I use the 'back arrow' key of the device returns to the screen (B) and later has... So what can I do?

The display "battery" is not strictly a battery. You can extract a screen that is not at the top. So to do what you want, when you tap the screen C, you could pierce the veil B backstage. However, users generally expect the 'return arrow' key (actually, the ESC key) to return to the previous screen. This regime would be in contradiction - when they pressed the screen C to ESCAPE, they want to go back to (which is what you want, but not typical for BB applications).

If you want ESC to return to the screen B and have a separate on screen C button to return to the screen has, simply write the change listener for the pop key field (or close) the two C and B display C would need to have (or be able to find) a reference to screen B.

Another approach is to have one screen and have three 'modes': A, B and c. when switching between modes, remove all fields and add the fields to the desired mode. ESC - unless override you the default behavior - would then always exit the application (since there is only one screen).

  • Close all screens?

A few times I have much stacked... screen I'm able to hit the "back" button until I go back to the main screen of the application, but is there a way to close all screens and return to the main screen when I hit 'Hand' in my menu?

    Thank you!

    Try this:

    While (UiApplication.getUiApplication () .getScreenCount () > 1)
    {
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .popScreen ();
    }
