  What utility Antivirus you have installed? Have you tried to disable it temporarily and and see if they work?

  What type of Internet connection you are on, wired or wireless? If you are on a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection and try the download.

  Out of the blue, my laptop just stopped starting sometimes.  It didn't fall or anything.  The screen remains black after start-up and only the fan turns on.  Verified the external monitors etc.

  He occasionally start and I have usually press f10 for that to happen.  I ran the diagnostic tests and memory, we came back ok.

  However when I leave configured BIOS, windows starts normally and works ok for a few days.  So is there really a problem with the hard drive?  This would explain why it won't turn?

  The laptop becomes quite hot enough quickly also, this can be explained by the error of hard disk or is it do? I don't want to buy a new drive hard to make it happen.  Is it POSSIBLE to repair a hard drive or replacement is the only option? This error is certainly correct?

  Win7 systems seem to be the problem.

  The Solution I found pending...

  The share for each user folder must be created by the system of the user in question. This sets the special folder permissions. (Originally, all sharing of backup folders had created by the domain administrator... It did not work. ) Once the user has created the folder in the sharing and the backup configuration has been created, and the domain administrator credentials are defined. The backups worked perfectly.

  If another error occurs at this point, I ran a chkdsk /f on the system and after that no problem remains.

  All backups are now working properly.

• Fresh install of Windows 8 the new SSD and Windows update found 127 updates and they failed with error code 80248007

  I've been struggling for weeks to try to get my computer Windows 7 update to Windows 8.1. It is not interesting to go in full history frustrating because I gave the update and now I just try to start over again. The recent measures and current situation is as follows:

  1 PC is powerful enough with i7 and 16 GB chip.

  2. new SSD this week.

  2. freshly downloaded Windows 8 Pro ISO burned to a DVD and checked.

  3 Ran install successfully and signed using my Microsoft Account.

  4 tried Windows Store for Windows 8.1, but said I need updates.

  4 Ran Windows Update in Control Panel.

  5. Windows update found 127 updates and they failed with error code 80248007.

  I don't understand how I can get these failures with a new facility.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance!

  Glad you got it going... If I had to guess, it was very likely updates .net 3.5, which has caused the problem... or maybe, Net 4.5...

  They require a process runs to complete their installation that seems to start running in the middle of updates remaining to try to install...

  I have a compaq CQ62 and when I started it today it started fine and the log on screen was fine but when the desktop appears windows stops responding and I can't do anything. I press ctrl, alt delete, but it does not work. I have restarted my computer several times but no luck. I can start my computer in safe mode, if that helps.

  As you start it in Mode without fail, try the following.

  Start the computer in Mode without failure.  When it has loaded, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a well before restore point before the problem started and then proceed to the restoration.  When finished, Windows restarts normally - this helped at all?
