• Repeated messages "unreponsive script".

  I use Firefox for some years, but in the last month or two, I got many errors "the script is not responding" to the point where I'm totally unable to use the browser at all. Usually it happens first thing in the morning and not seem to get all the more I am able to use Firefox. I use FF 36.0.1 with Windows 7. I tried to change the amount of time THAT JS responded. Tried disabling all plugins and modules, and then allowing them one at a time. I tried to reset Firefox. I installed the addon "yesscript" and said one of the sites for me worth the most and is not something different. Probably tried some other stuff too, but so far nothing has worked. I'm at the point where Firefox is rendered almost unusable. But as I said, usually later in the day, it works as expected, as if the JS has managed to begin somehow. Not this chip on JS.
  I'm almost at the point where I'm ready to give up Firefox and use another browser that does not give me this problem. I love FF and do not want to use anything else. Can someone help me please? It has become a major frustration for me and try to use the internet. I am on and off the internet throughout the day and can't deal with this much longer.

  I have been using Firefox for almost 2 hours without a hitch. In addition, update of Flash and mms remained unchanged. Everything seems to work very well. In fact, Firefox starts very fast and continues to beat during the navigation. Thanks for your help. I had this problem only intermittently for some time, but lately it has gotten much worse. I looked around a solution, but so far without success.

• Rival drivers USB & Windows 7

  I tried to install Motorola Phone Tools and the necessary USB drivers on my laptop which is running Windows 7, but would not install the drivers. A dialog box pops up saying (wrongly!) «You have a machine running Vista... go see Microsoft KB941600.» But when I go to the Microsoft product support and the KB article, Microsoft quickly tells me that "your machine does NOT Vista; the info in the article does not apply. »

  So I called Support of Motorola, and the tech just told me that the competitor is NOT COMPATIBLE with Windows 7! How can this be? How Motorola put on a product, after that Windows 7 is on the market, which is not compatible with Win &? It's ridiculous!

  Someone else has experience this problem? Any suggestions... .other than buying a cell phone that works?  (Sorry...  I am major frustrated now.)

  What you trying to do? I use cell sync (http://www.synccell.com/) to synchronize my phone with my Bluetooth google calendar's calendar. You can also use it to transfer contacts, pictures, etc.

  I use a USB cable and "Mass storage Mode" to transfer photos, videos and ringtones.

  I use a USB cable and Windows Media Play sync music.

  Hi all.  I use Adobe Captivate 8 on Windows.  I have a slide that has 2 buttons.  The buttons are placed in advanced actions, when you click on it to play an audio file and display the text, and then set the variable key 1, clicked.  The button are similar functions and can be clicked in any order.  When you click on the two buttons, I need to read an audio of conclusion.

  My problem is that once the second button is clicked, select what action starts immediately, as the two buttons were clicked and the condition is now filled.  I need to finish reading the audio second-clicked the button before she turns to the next action, and no matter what I try it doesn't work!  Major frustration!  If you need me to post any screen shots, please let me know.  Thanks in advance,

  You must use conditional Actions, not simple actions.  With a Standard action or conditional button does not automatically frees the timeline AFTER it has been clicked.

  You must also configure the tracking variables so that your conditional Action will be able to determine whether or not the two buttons were clicked and that's why the audio file should be placed accordingly.

• About my work

  I downloaded the lightroom 30 day free trial I got when I bought adobe photoshop 10 elements. Now I am unable to download images directly to my computer because whenever I put a memory card lightroom appears and they upoad here. Why I can't download photos to any other progam, including the program that I spent $80 to be used. I tried to delete the shortcut, but it does not uninstall the lightroom program. I don't know how to uninstall it, and this is where I need help because I want it on my computer. If you can get back to me as soon as possible that would be great, I have pictures of the customer a lot to do and it is a major frustration.

  You can turn off the preference that causes LR to pop up when he sees that a card inserted, by launchiung, the program, go to edit-> preferences and on the tab general, under import preferences, uncheck the box that says "show import dialog when a memory card is detected."

  Thanks for your comments, but I managed to "sort" this problem when to dig more deep... it's easy. I have just re-ran the System Tuner for a second time and everything was corrected. Your it may have had or have the same problem should try this.

• Qosmio F10: TV tuner pal/Secam

  One of my friends has a Toshiba Qosmio F10 of France in Ireland. Everything works fine except for the (tuner) tv.

  I read in a previous thread on how to get a tv signal in the Qosmio player which worked for me as well.

  Problem is that this signal is "encoded" and now that I know a bit more about the standards of television used in Europe, I'm pretty sure that the tuner is set to Secam (laptop was purchased in France, after all).

  Anyone who knows how I can configure the PAL standard.
  The fact that this machine is the french version of XP MCE is not help either that my french is rusty to say the least.

  I know that Gettysburg mentioned in a previous thread that manually operated standard tv, too bad he doesn't explain how :-)
  Only that I can find is I NTHE bios but it is only for the tv (pal or ntsc), then that does not work either.

• HP Pavilion g7 1178 AC: windows jingle/tune does not sound and the start up programs do not start before the RESET

  When I start my computer, I have the lock screen, enter my PIN and then nothing really happens, I get all the blank screens or error messages just my old image of the windows desktop 7, then I RESTART my pc and then I get Windows Small Volkov song/jingle/air once it starts again , then my lock screen and then my start up programs start at work, bitdefender, toolwiz and things are working properly.  I removed my old windows, clean up the files using the disk.

  I do not understand why the windows little tune does not make its sound until I restart?  Does this mean that windows is does not start properly until I restart?  And would that be why my bitdefender is does not properly start as well. ?

  I checked in the Task Manager after the first start-up, he said that the two programs have been activated, but they do not work properly.  I checked bitdefender and it also says that it is on the startup list, but why he doesn't have the things I have planned to start rebooting?

  It is very frustrating having to start my pc, wait a while, then do a reboot to get things every morning.  Suggestions, ideas, help would be greatly appreciated.

• USB TV Tuner - required remote sensor or not?

  This destiny feel so much sense at the moment.  I did research on the USB TV tuner and online manuals indicate it comes with a remote sensor separated, but the "what's in the box" does not list these elements.  If I buy the dv7t laptop, I intend to integrate it with my TV and it spends the majority of his life sitting on the entertainment center, so I don't expect to use the remote control.

  Can someone clarify the differences between the description of the product and the documentation available?  I don't have to get sucked into another bad buy as my TV (the manual online for this was completely false on one of the features I wanted specifically for).

  Since it is clear that no HP or having useful information comes here, I thought that I'm answering my own questions now that I got it for the archives.

  First, the documentation provided on this site is not accurate, or at least updated, from this date, so don't base is not your assumptions about everything you see while performing your research.  The literature suggests a slightly different distance and images and description of what is in the box is different from what you will receive.  The online user guide shows an IR (infrared) receiver and additional cables.  Everything is in the box is what is stated on the sales page USB TV Tuner.

  Remote work in RF (in appearance), so one might think, there is no need "line of sight", but it does.  I've been using Windows Media Center and the remote active it is very good at a distance of about 10 feet.  I can't test it any further than that.

  Update failed?

  Try to install the update in a clean boot state. If a 3rd party program prevents this update of installation, this will remove the conflict.

  If you are unable to install the update and you said, the other troubleshooting steps did not resolve the issue, follow the steps in this document to perform an InPlace upgrade. Your current installation of Windows will be reset without affecting your personal information.

  You can also modify an existing printer driver:

  (1) system preferences > Print & Fax

  2) click your printer

  3) click on the Options button & supplies

  4) click on the driver tab at the top

  (5) in 'print using... '. "drop-down, choose Select printer software...

  (6) locate HP OfficeJet Pro L7700 in the list

  I followed the instructions to turn my printer OfficeJet OfficeJet Pro L7700 6500n driver. Let the JetDirect Protocol.

  Now I can print when connected to the Ether - and I can print duplex. AND I can print wireless.

  To sum up: If your print jobs stuck in the queue to print on a HP OfficeJet 6500n, but you can ping the printer or you connect via the HP printer utility, the following workaround solution:

  Change the IP to JetDirect Protocol

  Change the 6500n to OfficeJet Pro L7700 OfficeJet printer driver.

• Hauppauge Tv Tuner does not

  Hi all

  I just got a new p6180 of HP (Vista 64-bit) with Tv Tuner Hauppauge 1800.  After fighting with the IR taken in the back (had to jiggle just to establish a connection) I started working on the DTV tuner.  I spent so many days to update drivers, re-installing windows media center (6.1.1000.18304) and so on with highly volatile results.  Here's the problem:

  Every once and awhile I am able to boot the computer and television live works in windows media center.  Then after the computer goes to sleep, or I close the victory Media Center and do any other job and then reopen WMC or restart the computer WMC says "Tv Signal No."  Then I spend another 4 + hours messing around with drivers, re install WMC, playing with the installation program, etc., before entering TV again.   Once I get the TV it works fine for a session or two and then it dies and it takes me hours to get it working again.   I can't understand why he died, and then I can't pin point what I did different for this work or why it stopped working.  I have not installed anything simply surfs the web or the computer went to sleep, and then he died.    I'm so frustrated.  I received via the digital signal from the air (OTA) for a few years now and never had any problems of signal (signal 80 strength +).  I also connected the cable to my tv to check a signal when WMC said there is no TV signal and he was always very well.

  Ideas before you go try and return the card or your computer?

  Thanks for all the ideas.  I actually thought out if I turnned on the computer and then unplugged the card and plug it back it will work.  Which is until the computer could stop or go to sleep.  Then I would repeat the process to make it work again.  So I talked with HP after doing a bunch of diagnostics (motherboard and like) they decided to send me a new card tuner (same version Hauppage 1800).  I plugged a week ago and have not had a single problem since.

  All for a faulty card.

  Oh the connection works better now too.
