  • AE crashes when you try to use one of the effects

I use Adobe After Effects CS5 on Mac OS X Yosemite...

When you try to apply color Correction Effects > change color to... the application breaks down... then gives me this error message:

How can I fix this.  I have a large project, I am working on and have never encountered this error before.

Ah, you have a problem: the new OS.  CS5 does not work with Yosemite.  In addition, Adobe has no intention to make it work with Yosemite.  To do your current job, you will need to return to an older operating system, sorry to say.

He's a little old wisdom that you should know about - never change your system in the middle of a project.  No doubt you will experience it now.

    Hello

Hmm I think the BSOD appears because you didn t add SATA drivers in the Win XP operating system.

However, you can try to install Win XP on your laptop without the use of the SATA driver, but you can change the SATA AHCI in the BIOS in compatible mode.

  • I got a blue screen when you try to re - install Windows 7.

All started 3 days ago. I was using just my PC regularly, then I get a BSOD. Whenever I tried to reboot, I get a BSOD after about a minute after loading screen. The BSOD was rdyboost.sys I did a system restore using the windows via memory stick installation. Things were great, that 10 minutes later, I start getting BSOD, once again and each time after that screen as before loading. I tried to reinstall windows, but I have a BSOD at 30% to each hour. My motherboard is ASRock extreme 3 gen z68 3. Is there something wrong with the motherboard in this case? It seems to be a hardware problem, now, I guess. the BSOD now varies from as "changing the code of the system or a critical data structure has been detected" to "ntfs.sys" or * STOP: #.

I took pictures of the BSOD, but there is no option to transfer to this post. I am trying to install windows 7 pro 64-bit, which was originally about it.

~ I need help fast. Thank you. I'm willing to do whatever it is necessary. Should I try to install windows xp and see if I have some luck?

Solved the problem myself. I did memtest on individual RAM, a strip of RAM was defective. Thanks for the help.

  • I get a blue screen when you try to install XP Pro: Stop: 0x0000007B

I'm doing a new installation of my CD XP pro (SP2) on a sata drive.
My bios works with AHCI so I have the drivers on a floppy and press F6 when the installation starts. Finally, the screen shows it starts Windows but crashes with:
    A problem has been detected...
The rest of her talking about the virus check screen, remove newly installed hard drive, check the errors with chkdsk and so on and gives the following Stop error message.
    Stop: 0x0000007B (0xf78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000

I checked the hard drive with a test of surface (past) deleted and reinstalled the partition and formatted NTFS.
I have the disk sata hard connected to a sata 6 gb in the motherboard connectors, while the sata drive is an old one that is probably at the low speed of sata. Who would have something to do with it?

    Any ideas?

  • Blue screen when you try to install Windows XP on Intel ThinkPad Edge 520

    Hello

I have a ThinkPad Edge 520 type 1143-B5G with a clean disk and I need to install Windows XP on it, for reasons of inheritance. I read on the pilot of the technology Intel Rapid store being necessary, but this seems not to apply to the 520, only to 220 and 420. The recommended settings are not available on the 520 (nor is the driver itself), and the driver is listed by n/a for the 520 in the list of drivers of Lenovo. But, I always get a BSOD error just as Windows is starting from the installation DVD, after the DVD instructed all pilots, he can think about.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Would BTW - be possible to install XP in a separate partition, main alongside Windows 7, on a drive that already has Windows 7 on it? Or a clean disk is needed for this?

    Kind regards

    / EvA

    Hello and welcome,

What settings are you looking for?  It seems that there is a problem with the mode of operation of HD.  The E520 BIOS has an option to change the SATA compatibility instead of AHCI mode?  You will not be able to install a version of "Vanilla" of XP without adding the correct AHCI driver or compatibility mode.

What version of BIOS do you have?  I see this rather cryptic reference in the BIOS 1.20:

"[Fixes problem] problem reading/writing data to the SATA compatibility mode."

It is possible to dual-boot XP and 7, but the best way to do is to install XP first and then let the 7 Installer put in place the configuration dual-boot.  You would still have the problem of compatibility (IDE) vs AHCI mode.

Ah, lookinng a little further, there is a driver AHCI for XP in Lenovo driver matrix.  The readme file includes instructions on installation.
