January 15, 2007 bought 24 inch imac os x 24/2.16/1g/250/sd/ap/bt-itp

Snow - 10.11.4

Hi, a long time ago I did not use my iMac and now does not work because there must be some update...

How can I to bring back to life? I have to go to the Apple Store?

Thank you

Best regards

Your iMac can't run the latest OS. The maximum BONE, it can be executed is Lion 10.7.5. If you're running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 you can buy Lion http://www.apple.com/shop/product/D6106Z/A/os-x-lion if you do not run 10.6.8 you will need to move to first, by buying an installation disc http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard and then download and install the jour.8 download Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update v.1.1 update

It seems that you only have 1 GB of ram, you'll want to update to the 3 GB maximum. Snow Leopard will run in 1 GB but not well and Lion requires at least 2 GB to even work.
