Identification of novice system

I'm new to the identification system (as both a concept and a tool box!), someone has suggestions I can begin to familiarize themselves with it? I'll make both linear and non-linear identifications during the project, I am working on, but unfortunately, none of us have ever played with ID system before.

Any help would be appreciated,

Andy

Hi Andy,.

You should take a look at the NI Developer Zone. There are examples and other useful documents. I found something that you may find useful, follow the link below

  • How to understand the relationship between the character of frequency and nonparametric estimation of the system?

    Hello:

I am on the show dealing with the identification of the system. The process is as below:

    First of all, I use a sine sweep signal (bandwidth is 0 to 50 Hz) to stimulate the actuator;

Second, I use a low-pass filter (the cutoff frequency is 45 Hz) to filter the response signal, like the image below.

The last problem has been resolved by installing drivers for devices on the target computer.  The only problem was that I had to re - install all drivers for devices on the host computer.  It was necessary because on the host, I first installed the drivers and then installed the RT module.  The order should have been installing the RT module first, and then the drivers.  After you have reinstalled the drivers, I was able to load the drivers in the PC target and MAX found the PCI-6024E distance.

Only SUPERAntiSpyware is NOWHERE near enough! You really need to run MBAM (the free version is very well; you can refuse trial):
Very well, you will need to search for rootkits as well.

  • Transplanting hard HP Elite SFF 8200, 8300 and vice versa

Some time ago I asked a question on the transplantation of the hard drive of my HP 8200 desktop computer for my new HP 8300.

As suggested, I installed files to controller hard drive before the drive, and almost everything seemed to work fine. (Windows installed some additional drivers after training has been installed).

The operating system recognizes the new serial number etc, but HP Support Assistant still thinks it is installed in an HP 8200 machine. This caused a problem or two becauseHP support help has tried to install a new update of the BIOS for the 8200, which of course will not work.

I have installled the hard drive of my new 8300 in the 8200 and run Setup from there. This has caused fewer problems but still think that it is installed on the 8300!

I assume that there is a file that identifies the operating system of the machine. Is it possible to edit this file, or replace the file with the correct version?

    Hi buzybeegirl,.

    Thank you for your message.

I got the error on my first visit, to see that I was not using Internet Explorer.

You can check by clicking on the Start button and type "internet explore" on writing that appears in the form of "Internet Explorer".

If this does not work, try right click on the entry that appears, and then click Run as administrator.

Even if your account is the Admin account, you will likely worsen your credentials in this way to run a program as an administrator.

I was also able to recreate the issue on my first visit to the site by using Internet Explorer Onecare.live.com.

I looked at the address of the error page (in the address bar) and she had identified my OS XP, something like "osunsupported = XP.

    So, I use Windows 7...

I tried a few times over, and it worked.

I can't recreate the failure of identification of operating system now that he's worked.

I'll see if I can find more information about this, and if I do, I will post it here.

In the meantime, see if the suggestions made above will work.

  • Pls help a "Newbie"!

    Hello people,

I am trying to set up a 1200 - straight out of the box, so by default (no radio on, set to receive the IP from a DHCP server, etc..).

Our guy periphery who would normally install this kit has resigned with notice very short and took all the information with him... so I went trying to set up this device with no information another PDF I downloaded from Cisco.

My normal line of work is to install PC-based process control systems, so I'm used to dealing with networks, even though CAN-Bus, Profibus and these other flavors - however, I also installed "wired ethernet", so to understand the basics and I'm very practical.

I made my own console drive and can now sucessfully communicate with the 1200 via a Hyperterminal session. I've set up an IP address and some other basic elements, but I'm stuck now. I am trying to connect to the unit of 1200 via the ethernet port to use the graphical interface to continue setting up (because I guess that's the easiest way for someone like me). However, I can't connect to the 1200 that way - and Yes, I have updated my PC network card an IP in the same range etc. and uses a cable etc. I also installed an applet called "IPSU", and who cannot 'see' the 1200 either.

When I'm in a console session, if I use the 'Ping' command built into the 1200 software, I get a success report of 100% in the INVESTIGATION period, I have implemented in the 1200 (do not know if this prooves anything if...)

Is there a PDF primer that explains all the choices that are available in the CLI?

How to invoke the "express setup" option in the console?

Hope someone can help me with what must seem like basics to you guys...

PS - It could be useful that I describe my request... It's really basic, base if I could do it with one (I dare say) type, but for the beach consumer product I need (so 'good' antenna's agenda). I hang the 1200 to a switch that is part of a system of environmental control effect of greenhouse. The AP is to allow farmers freedom to walk around the greenhouse with HP IPAQ, so that they can be in contact with the PC, who oversees the various control systems, the host PC performs a very locked down NT4.5 platform with a WEB server set up. The IPAQ simply uses their internet Explorer integrated app to post a link to the host through the AP. We've done that before, but then our network guys left us, as I explained above... ho - hum!

Part of the problem may be where you applied your IP address.

You should put your IP address on the "BVI1" interface, not the ethernet or radios.

BVI stands for "Virtual Interface bridged" and is the logic element that identifies the management system.

IPSU is a simple utility to assign an address without having to the console in the AP. To use IPSU, you need either the MAC assress (to get or set an IP address) or IP address (for the MAC of the AP).

As you mentioned, once you have an IP address on the BVI UI:

    Enable

    config t

    int BVI1

IP addr xx.xx.xx.xx mm.mm.mm.mm (k-x is address, me s are the mask)

    No tap

    ^ Z (; Control Z - back mode)

You should be able to use a web browser to complete the configuration via the GUI (including an "Express Setup")

If you browse through your locked-down system, you may need to loosen to the top of your firewall software (if you have one) to allow traffic.

The default value is SSID for Cisco 'tsunami' - with the AP connected to the wired network and your clients configured for the SSID "tsunami", you should be able to pass traffic back and forth. The IP address of the access point is strictly for management.

From the console, you can check the status of the interfaces with a 'show ip interface brief' (abbreviated as sh ip int br) it will show you the address and the State of each interface he knows.

In regards to the primer, start with the "Configuration Guides" (do a search on the main site on 'AP1200 configuration Guide').

There is also a guide to the CLI commands, but I think you need a paid account of Cisco SmartNet for access. It used to be on the same pages with the software download pages.

I hope that you get, so we can get you the information that will allow to continue with the configuration of the system (encryption, authorization, etc.).

    Good luck

    Scott

  • Option of DAP for the verification of the registry for remote access VPN Anyconnect v 3.0 + users

    Hi all

I'm trying to assign the attribute DAP users VPN (Anyconnect 3.0 +) who fulfil certain conditions of registry. When setting up political DAP, while selecting the condition of the register, it is in error as "secure desktop cisco (CSD) is not enabled, CSD should be enabled to configure the registry endpoint attribute. But as I link percevied, to check the attribute registry "scan host' which is integrated in the module anyconnect 3.0 will be charged. So why he asks me to activate the CSD? CSD is really necessary to verify the registry attribute even if we use anyconenct 3.0 +? Any pointer

The end of the ASA must be activated and more bits based on AnyConnect.

Notes elsewhere in the link you quoted, it is said ' host Scan automatically identifies the operating systems and service packs on any remote device establishing a clientless SSL VPN and AnyConnect Cisco client session and when the host Scan/CSD or CSD is activated on the SAA. " (emphasis added).

FYI Cisco is to denigrate these features over time for the Posture of scanning at the ISE in conjunction with the new posture AnyConnect 4.0 module.

  • Help in calculating risk rating

I am trying to understand the calculation of the risk on a sensor of IPS4240 scoring.  From what I can tell, it seems that there are a few additional settings added to the equation that are not easy to determine.  It looks like the (attack relevance Rating) ARR and/or WLR (Watch list Rating) are changes (e.g. added to the RR), but I can't find all the values for these.  There are default values for RIOS, who uses the system?  What of the WLR can be seen everywhere?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Pat

    Hi Pat,

I guess that below, that's what you're looking for:

    http://www.Cisco.com/Web/about/security/intelligence/ipsmit.html

    It says the following:

"Attack relevance of note: the relevance of note (ARR) attack is a value that indicates whether the target of the attack can be vulnerable to an attack specific to the event that is generated by the IPS.".  This information is normally collected through passive identification of operating system but can also be set by a user or collected in the course of integration with the Cisco Security Agent Management Console. If you don't know the operating system of the target device, there is no change in the level of risk.  However, if the operating system of the target device is detected as relevant, the level of risk increases by 10 in Inline and Promiscuous mode. If the operating system of the target device is considered to be irrelevant, the level of risk in Promiscuous mode is reduced by 10, and no change occurs in Inline mode. »

Let me know if this clears things up to the top.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Assia

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry ID nightmare

    Hello

Really hope you can help out here, after saving my backberry ID marry a few months back on the phone had to be returned due to a technical failure.

She has now a new phone, however, on setting up again I / she needs his backberry id password we forgot, not only we have forgottent the answer to the security question.

After reviewing all aid online and previous forum posts it seems that it is a circular process you must either one or the other?

Is - this from there anyway to get a password reset email as I don't have the password or the answer to security question.

Thank you for these details... but I suspect steps 2 and 3 are reversed... I suspect that your wife all emails deleted before that the BB has been fired and replaced?

    In any case...

    Thursday wrote:

(A). can I create a new BB ID using an e-mail address that is different from the original for me to set up to receive emails on the handset of the [email protected] account?

You can create a new BB ID, as long as you do not use the same username/email address that exists for the BB ID that you don't remember the credentials for. User name/e-mail address is the unique identifier for the account and therefore cannot be duplicated in the identification of BB system.

    • KB24062 How to create a BlackBerry ID

Accounts that you wish to integrate your BB (for 'send' on the BB) are technically unrelated to the BB ID, himself. All accessible by internet e-mail accounts can have multiple clients interfacing for them... Outlook, BBs, other devices, etc. all are configurable to work with the same e-mail account, as long as the server places no restrictions on multiple-client access to the e-mail account. I have no idea what btinternet done in this regard.

The BBID will contain the identification information for e-mail accounts that are integrated into the BB, in order to facilitate an easier transition for new devices. So there can be a single BB ID with an associated e-mail address (since it is the identifier unique account ID of BB), but several BB ID may contain credentials for the same account of electronic mail for use on the BB (still once, as long as multiple-client access is not limited by the e-mail provider).

    Thursday wrote:

    (B) if so, can I then associate the original email address with the new BB ID account so that blackberry emails go to this account?

Yes - as long as the e-mail account allows multiple access to the customer, then there will be no problem. But, even once, I have no idea what your email provider is done in this regard.

    Thursday wrote:

    (C) if not, is there a way to get rid of the original ID BB account and starting from scratch?

The original e-mail received, during the creation of the BB ID, should have included a link to destroy the account ID of BB. It's the only way (other that the human intervention method I discussed way above) to accomplish this feat.

Note Please again that I know nothing of your email provider. If, for example, this e-mail domain, you discussed is a hosted e-mail account (e.g., @bb, @carrier, etc.), so only you have access to this account's mails via the unit... most of the hosted accounts allow device access to their e-mail accounts. As a result, which complicates things. Hosted e-mail accounts cannot be used the credentials for any service of BB, that things become difficult (see the previous answer, with links to discuss this situation). But, yet again, I have no idea if your btinternet account is a hosted (by your operator) or an e-mail account available for free via other means of interface (for example, Outlook, webmail, etc.).

    Hope that helps!

  • OfficeJet 7410 does not connect via WiFi and will not scan

I don't know if this post is in the right place, but here goes:

I have a 7410 OfficeJet that was connected to my home network so that I could print/scanning wireless to it from any computer in the House.  It worked well for a while.  I am running Windows XP SP 3.

We lost power for a few days during the hurricane (Fortunately it was our one central issue), and when the power was restored the 7410 wouldn't connect to the wireless network (we have FiOS).  I checked the unit identifies the correct system ID (and I entered the WEP key), but when I try to install from the desktop computer, it can not find the 7410 (laptop computer also was not able to find the 7410).  The only way I could get the desktop to detect the 7410 is to connect it to the router with an ethernet cable (it does not work with the laptop).  I also can't connect to the wireless printer if I put the IP address in my browser (I'm able to do when it's connected via ethernet).  Not sure if it is a firewall issue.

When the 7410 is connected to the router with the ethernet cable, I could print to it without any problems.  However, I can't scan from it.  When I try to scan, I get the error message "when trying to scan, could not find the required user interface file (Please reinstall scanning software).  I uninstalled and reinstalled the HP software, but I still get this message.  I also followed the instructions here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00516936 but that has not solved the problem.

This morning, I uninstalled the printer with the hope that, put it back in place could solve the problem of scanning, but now the computer is not able to find the printer, even if it is connected by ethernet.

I hope I gave enough information.  Ideas/comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

I think I see what's happening. You just need to reestablish the connection to the printer wireless. The document below should help you with that. Once you have done so, the software shouldn't have a problem connecting to the wireless printer.

Installation of the software of the printer on a wireless network or network (Ethernet) cable

  • Satellite L500 - BSOD Identification of the Vista operating system

    Hello

I have the Satellite L500 (PSLJ0A-01F013 (experiencing a BSOD (Stop: 0X000C1F5) what googling has identified as being a file corrupted on HARD drive.)) Unfortunately, the difficulty MS must be applied before the corruption. I tried many options, I can not force a recovery by using the 0 key to the power upward and virtually abandoned. I intend to install a new HARD drive and load it Vista again. My main question is, how to identify if the licensing system is 64-bit or 32-bit? The certificate of authenticity only identifies it as Home Premium OEMAct.

If I reinstall Vista, is there a way to create a Toshiba Recovery disk as soon as I got the laptop works to my satisfaction, that is to say with all the drivers and additional software loaded?

    Thanks in advance

    > If I reinstall Vista, is there a way to create a Toshiba Recovery disk as soon as I got the laptop works to my satisfaction, that is to say with all the drivers and additional software loaded?
If you install the clean version of Vista, you will not be able to create the Toshiba recovery disc.

Only when the Toshiba recovery image is installed on your laptop, you can create this disk.

What you can do now is to install Vista clean with all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities and some third party application to create the recovery image. Many people here have reported that the right application for the creation of recovery image is Acronis.

You can also try to restore disc original order of Toshiba.
