  Problem solved

  Maybe there is a problem of a catalogue of PowerPC upgrade to an Intel processor.  I finally mangaged to open my catalog (PowerPC) LR1 in LR4 (Intel) by installing the demo version of LR2 on Intel, opening the catalog LR1 in LR2 and then by opening the new catalogue LR2 LR4 that will modernize in then it.  Problem solved.

  Here's my problem and I hope someone can put me on the right track.  I bought several Adobe programs while living in the Netherlands. I moved to Curacao, last year. Now I want to upgrade to CS4 CS3 and Lightroom 1.4 to 2.0 seams to be impossible, because in the ADOBE database, I am registered for the Netherlands and you cannot change that. Or ADOBE will do it for me, despite my urgent questions. So I made a new account but here I have 2 problems, you can't choose Netherlands Antilles as home address and my credit card is still linked to my other email address and to the Netherlands (this is what adobe tells me but that changed a year ago in the Netherlands Antilles visa) announces a new question on the adobe Web site does not move forward me they answer after 3 days and sometimes not at all.  Then... legally the upgrade and move from the pc to the mac platform seems impossible now.  All of you who can tell me how to proceed? • HP Stream 14: Impossible to upgrade Windows 10-Anniversary edition 14943

  Thanks for reading my problem.

  My son 14 HP stream runs under windows 10.

  I know that the disk space is tight, but so far we have managed.

  Windows has a new update, they call it the anniversary edition 14943.

  He needs 8 GB of space.

  I managed to get it to 8.2 GB, but still he would not be executed.

  Now, he jumped to 6 GB.

  I uninstalled ave run disk clean up millions of times including removal of windows updates day and everything I can.

  I even disabled hibernation,

  This update will not move forward

  I think that because of the size of the disk, this HP Stream14 is unable to host windows OS updates more.

  any suggestion welcome, but please bare in mind, I have studied this topic top to bottom for hours and hours and resulted in nothing.

  During win8.1 upgradeing > win10, I have been authorized to use a flash drive to complete the installation process. But with this upgrade, the option is not available.

  Left on last night and the morning, Windows Update had resolved it himself!
  In hindsight, that I que j' etais was clear space to run the update tool (downloaded from ms site), Windows Update has probably been working in the background.

  If you do not already have a current backup, please backup all data, and then reinstall the OS. * you don't need to erase the boot volume, and you won't need the backup unless something is wrong. If the system has been upgraded an earlier version of Mac OS X, you may need to the Apple ID and password to use.

  There are ways to back up a computer that is not fully functional. Ask if you need advice.

  If you installed the runtime Java distributed by Apple, and still need, you will need to reinstall it. It goes the same for Xcode. All other data will be preserved.

  Related support article refers to OS X 10.11 ("El Capitan"), but the procedure is the same for OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later versions.

  I bought a new desktop computer (810-109 Phoenix) and wanted to upgrade the video card. The new video card is a Zotac GTX 660. The thing is that the system does not boot with the new video card. I got continuous beeps from the system. I used 6 PCI-E power connector pins. The power suply is expected to support the video card, as it is listed as 600W and it is the wat recommended for the video card. I am runing Windows 8.1 64bits.

  When you add a video card no HP in a PC provided with W8/8.1, you will need to change 2 settings of the BIOS before installing the card.

• Impossible to upgrade to El Capitan 10.11.2

  Have tried several times to upgrade to 10.11.2.  Whenever it comes to the recovery, I get a box that says that the available updates have changed, please click "View details", but after clicking, the details never present themselves.  I went through several cycles of reboot, but am still stuck on 10.11.1.

  The update still shows as being available when I click on software update.

  Clues?

  Restart your Mac and try again.

  If this does not help, go to the Finder.

  In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

  Then type or copy paste the following text:

  ~/Library/cookies/com. Apple.AppStore.Cookies

  Click OK, and then place the com.apple.appstore.cookies file in the trash.

  Restart your Mac once more and then try to update on v10.11.2.

• Pavilion P6-2330: Impossible to upgrade successfully from Windows 8 to 8.1

  I've updated Windows all files by following the instructions, updated the BIOS and back to the top of my files. I followed all the instructions and the result is a Windows 8.1 installation no funcitoning in which the screen keeps refreshing, sometimes bring back all the icons on the desktoop or simply refreshing do not at all. The courses is visible and sensitive, in part, but nothing is operational.

  The screen flashes could be a monitor driver problem that I also checked and nothing was. I simply can not properly finalize the upgrade! This is the first time in my life with Windows (since it first came out) that I can't magage to install an upgrade.

  Software deals with mysterious way: I finally managed to get the Windows operational 8.1 upgrade. the process was complex, multi-tasking and boring and goes more or less like this:

  1. first of all, make sure that your Windows 8.0 has all the updates that are available. Then, go to the command prompt and run the SFC \SCANNOW utility. You can find corrupted files and secure them.

  2. then install the upgrade for Windows. It will certainly install and appear to the system, but it will not respond and will present a flashing screen. Do not despair!

  3. restart the PC and hold the F11 key, until you get a blue screen with a list of languages. Choose one (probably English) and go to the page with the REFRESH and RESET the buttons of your software. Hit refresh. If it doesn't, try the RESET button. In my case, it offered to re - install - surprise, surprise - 8.1 of Windows, and it worked!

  4. After installing Windows 8.1 running an UPDATE OF FILES of WINDOWS before doing any other thing on your PC.

  It took me more than 2 1/2 weeks and several reinstl = all 8.0 Windows until I understood.

  This is what worked for me...

  I zipped and tied a tool that hopefully will get windows 10 icon on the taskbar of your PC, as it did for me.

  To run it, unzip the file and right-click on the file and select run as administrator.

  After reading the disclaimer notice, run the first menu item to confirm your PC has the required updates.

  Then run the second menu item, and it is the one that did the trick for me.

  Then simply click on the GET W10 icon to get a software booking W10.

  Windows Update is not updated my windows to SP3, always on SP2. I have Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build) 2600.

  When I use the update, I get a message that "upgrade software for some components required window. I go ahead and hit the download and install now button and I get a message that "some updates have not been installed. specifically the windows genuine advantage validation tool (kb892130). Update watch then a screen that says update failed please see history for more information. This story shows that (KB959140) failed to come back on January 14, 2009. There are a series of updates for XP; they are KB950474, kb92554, KB890830, KB905474. The last two have been cancelled twice.

  First of all, let's check that your version of windows is legitimate. Click on the link below. In the left pane, click "Validate Windows". Allow validation to complete. If you have MS Office installed so validate once windows validation is complete.

  1. you get the error message when installing updates or running the upgrade on the computer process?

  2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

  3 when was the last time it was working fine?

  4. do you have security software installed on the computer?

  Error 0x80072EFE means ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_ABORTED.
