  I think that the enhanced USB port is that which is directly soldered to the motherboard and, most likely, on the left side of the laptop where the ports HDMI, VGA or eSATA. The other side ports are connected to the motherboard by a cable and probably use another USB controller.

• Improvements in computer laptop Touchpad or additional features (I want to just right click by tapping lightly on the button of the touchpad).

  I have Windows 7 running on HP Pavilion dv6t-3100 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC with Synaptics (version of the driver - 15.3.29.0).

  • For a normal click (left click) I either press the touchpad or press on the lower-left corner of the button - and for a click right, I press the bottom-right corner.
  • The unique tapping (left click) works when I tap anywhere on the touch-pad.
  I was wondering if there was some way if right click I can by simple sheet metal without pressing the button.

  May I know if there is any other soft-goods other than Synaptics which has some nice features.

  No you are at the top of the curve. The A10 is as good as it gets in what for the graphics of the APU. You cannot transform a mobile entertainment/internet/Facebook consumer in a gaming PC. A mobile game is at least an expense of $1500. Sorry to say.

  I gave to my two daughters a Netbook Toshiba NB200 - 00L. Both came loaded with Windows 7 Starter. If I just upgrade to Windows Home Premium, it will slow down computers.   AFAIK NB200 can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM. Therefore, you can check the specs on the Toshiba site!

  I m not NB200 owner but I improved my other laptops equipped with modules from Kingston. I've never had a problem with these modules. They always run stable and don t make problems.

  Well, the procedure for the RAM upgrade is a bit tricky. There is no RAM module Bay separated with easy access.

  To access the free RAM slot, the plastic cover of the bottom must be removed.
  You need to remove the ODD (optical disc) as well as the battery and next by the screws around the cover.

  But remove the cover would mean that you would negate the warranty.

  I put t know if you want to lose the warranty, I think that security is a very important fact which should be considered before performing this upgrade procedure.

  I have a new Toshiba Tecra S3, I bought one a few years ago with a 100gig hdd.
  I'm running out of room and wanted to move to a larger capacity drive.

  I bought a WD 400 GB sata 5400 RPM and the Appricon Easygig 2 cloning software and the USB universal drive adapter.
  My first attempt I used the default settings and cloning went without problem, but the player does not start. I get the blue screen with an error message.

  I tried cloning with accurate corresponding partitions, same result.
  I tried to use the digital software West, the same results.
  I tried the Acronis software with all the different options, the same results.

  Given that my laptop came with the hidden recovery partition I don't have the original Windows XP pro disk, so I borrow one from a friend and tried to use the recovery of windows on the new drive I just cloned and could not find the hard drive at all.

  I suspect it has something to do with the RAID drivers, but I don't what to do at this point if it is.
  I don't want to start from scratch, I want just all what I have on my 100 GB to my 400GB clone.

  Interestingly, I have used the Appricon method on other SATA improvements on other laptops completely successful, but this Toshiba has me out of resources.

  Does anyone out there have a solution to my problem?

  Increase the RAM in your A60: his current 256 MB will certainly benefit even if I suspect that the improvement will be not exactly breathtaking.

  I suggest using the monitor of the task (available in Task Manager, during the execution of some of your applications to see just what the memory usage you actually is.

  You currently have 64 MB of your existing RAM allocated for use of graphics, and you may be able to reduce this to 32 MB or 16 MB even to give you an additional display options in RAM capacity advances.

  The actual gain from adding additional RAM will come if you want to run multiple simultaneous applications.

The only memory of Samsung in the second photo you have posted has all the correct specifications, but only a 1 GB module. Samsung sells the OEM like HP as 'Hynix' memory, but he sells the same memory to the public as "samsung".   You have already almost the best processor offered on this series. The i7-4700MQ at 2.4 ghz. You can install up to an i7-4900MQ to 2.8 ghz. You can install a Blu - Ray Burner instead of the DVD recorder. You can install an SSD instead of the mechanical hard drive. You can install 16 gigabytes of RAM instead of 8 GB. Add all of this, and it will cost you more to sell your laptop and buy one with stronger specs. Your big problem if you're trying to game are the graphics Intel HD4600. You can also get a dedicated video card, but it would need to replace the motherboard. Seriously, everything I've listed here costs a few thousand dollars for parts. The economics are next door. HP can buy the parts at a fraction of what they cost individually to the retail price, and they have already set up an assembly line. It's almost never profitable to try to do a major update for your laptop. If you have developed an attaction to your laptop, refuse to sell it and want to do a single upgrade that will make it faster, install an SSD. The difference at the start, application launch time and just overall joy of use is amazing. This assumes that you do not want to run games. The DSS will not help much with that. You could get a 500 GB SSD and a Blu - Ray burner for maybe $500 and both are easy replacements. 8 GB to 16 is not really worth the money; 8 GB is plenty. The upgrade of the processor also won't do much, yours is already very powerful and just is hampered by the slow hard disk.
