  I'm not even sure what to call this, but when I first open a file first in Speedgrade, the coloring is inconsistent (see photo).  Any idea whats happening or how to fix it?

  This graphic is would have been resolved in the 10.11.1 update. Please upgrade to OS X 10.11.1 and see if that solves this problem.

• My iMovie includes an iPhoto library but not my photo library. How do I update to include Photos?

  Try opening the pictures before you open iMovie. Some reported that they can open pictures and close it, and then open iMovie.   My experiences to try Auto mode it seems useless way more often than otherwise. For some reason any camera makes terrible decisions on what settings to use. Try this & please report.

  Take several pictures in the following way, automatic assistance for one & then the second program, then switch back to Auto and take another picture of a different scene, then switch back to the program & turn this scene again and that several kinds of scene, both inside & outside & where flash will be necessary for some. Continue to use the two program & car at each location / scene and then compare how did better. Always starting from Auto to each scene, you will know which photo in sets was shot using Auto.

• Can not print Photo Tray HP Photosmart 6510

  I saw many posts and responses on how to print successfully from the photo tray, but none seem to be adapted to the Mac user.  I tried all variations of Print f/Photo tray, Photo paper, main tray by default... and that you get inconsistent results.  Finally, I was able to print from the photo tray, then made u-turn trying to print using the same settings and has not been able to print again.  Several times, I got out the photo paper and reloaded without success.  Any suggestions on what I can do differently?  Thank you!

  Google searches only told me to try restarting and change my workgroup.  I tried both and was without success.  I also tried to disconnect a mapped drive and re-mapping (same error).  Other options in addition to trying to roll back all the updates of windows since last night (24 or almost)?

  -Update, the server is a Linux Fedora machine.  I am able to SSH and see that smbd (Samba) is running.  I just went to another box of Windows XP.  He said was update Windows and gives the same error trying to connect to readers.

  I have an Epson Stylus Photo R380 printer connected via USB to my Windows XP desk top.  I also have a laptop Windows 7, I want to share the printer.  I find that the drivers are not compatible.  Are there workarounds?   Thank you

  Windows 7 is not inconsistent with the Epson Stylus Photo R380 (if anything, it would be the other way around).  The link shows that it should 'work' with Windows 7.

  You may indeed need to connect the printer (directly) to the Windows 7 system once to get the appropriate drivers installed before trying to share your desktop Windows XP out to the other system on the network.  No guarantee it will work on the network like that - but I don't see why he wouldn't.

  Hardware support always comes from the manufacturer of the equipment, regardless of the operating system that you choose to run.  If a hardware manufacturer decides that they will not put the drivers for a device after a given operating system or even a service pack on an operating system - it is their prerogative.  It has nothing to do with the operating system, or those who made the operating system.

  I took pictures of my face for more than two years. Now, I am creating a short film with these photos.
  My problem: although I tried taking identical pictures, I am always placed a little different from the day before.

  Until today, I used some really basic programs: a journal on my monitor and the painting to move the image in the right place, Irfanview to cut the photos and finally Moviemaker to create the movie. You can imagine how much effort it is if you have to deal with more than 800 photos.

  That's why I thought I could try with Adobe After Effects using the tracking feature. I already looked at several tutorials and read a few instructions, but because I want to create a film composed of photos and clips video-no I have not found a way how to solve the problem. My idea was that EFA is both my eyes, move the image to the right position and it resizes if necessary. Finally, he should cut all the images to get a correct form.
  Do you know if that is possible with After Effects or is there another program I should use?

  Will not work. You must do it manually. AE has no way to detect characteristics across inconsistent data temporally and spatially, which is a sequence of Time lapse. There are a few experimental programs out there, but they are not generally publicly available and only research. AE can help you with the scaling and deformation by using patterns of fusion as difference or reducing opacity as effects like mesh Warp or optical Compensation may be useful to correct the deformation intra-image and lens distortion, but there is still a lot of manual work. Similarly, the fusion of panorama and Merge to HDR in Photoshop that could be used to create a few layers of basic DSP with aligned layers, but you still need to refine later.

• Why not Lightroom organizes photos and videos is missing 'date taken' by 'date modified' instead of 'creation date '?

  It always seems to be a problem with Lightroom 5. This post is one of the first results, after trying to Google this problem, and it's for LR3. I don't understand why something so basic to some photos (and video) Organization has been neglected for so long.

  I tried to import and organize all my old photos and videos by date with LR5. They have been backed up and copied several times over the years, most recently on an external drive last week. Thus, each file has a 'creation date' last week. But 'change' is the date recorded.

  It's not bad for pictures with a good EXIF "date taken" - but LR5 resembles the "creation date" for videos, making it completely useless to organize them into folders based on date. He puts videos I recorded in 2010 (in accordance with the "modification date") in a case 2014-12. Why.

  It is not only a video problem - some pictures that I took with devices that does not record date "EXIF taken" are also filed in folders of this month even if the 'update' on them is correct as is 5 years.

  It has been at least partially fixed in LR 5.5, for images: Lightroom: the dates do not match for the missing files metadata date/time.  But I just tested import a .avi in LR 5.7 / Windows 8.1 and the date below the thumbnail in the grid has been the time of last modification of the file system, while the Date of Capture in the metadata Panel has been set at the time of importation.

• Lightroom 5.5 crashing when I reject Photos

  I do not think that has happened before V5.5, but in the module library or development, if I click the button X several times rejected a series of photos, Lightroom will break.  Sometimes with "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 64-bit has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution to this problem".  Then he said: "a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. • Easier way to create a gallery of photos than that?

  Basically, the way I am creating galleries on my sites are a long process.

  In DW, I go to commands > Create photo web album (after creating the three folders to place the images, pages and thumbnails).

  Then the Fireworks he organized for me and I do the necessary adjustments in the HTML document.
