InDesign CS4 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro installation

We bought Adobe Indesign CS4 in 2010 and have used without a problem. But we now need download Acrobat 9 Pro. I can't locate where this file is located on the CD. There is a second DVD, but it is titled Learning Adobe Creative Suite 4. How can I download Acrobat Pro. We wouldn't use it much and cannot justify obtaining the latest version to $16 per month.

Thank you

  • ADOBE ACROBAT 9 PRO INSTALLS BUT DOES NOT COMPLETE

    Hello:

I am a new user of Adobe Acrobat 9 pro. I had a trial version but uninstalled thanks to the superb Michael Kazlow and purchased a full version.

It installed OK (after asking my serial number) but when I started using it, asked me for my serial number again at the back of the DVD box that I inserted before installation began.

Problem: When I hit my correct serial number and click Next, the display shows a serial number DIFFERENT since he says is not valid and will not let me complete the installation.  The error msg is "serial number invalid-go back and enter the correct number. I returned 5 times and entered the correct number and click Next and a different serial number than I typed appears on the screen and the same serial number incorrect msg is repeated.

    I'm stuck. Help, please.

You have the CS Suite? If so what version? What is a unique retail version of Acrobat 9? If you had a test of the CS Suite he can cause problems. You can try running the CS3 or CS4 Cleanscript. Run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup tool then try reinstalling.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Installation problem

Hi, I just bought Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.  Cannot install that I get a message that my serial number is a version upgrade of Adobe Acrobat Pro.  I also have Adobe Reader 9 on my computer.  What is the most economical way to install it without having to pay for other updates or versions? Thank you, Oscar.

The cheapest is to return your purchase, a refund and then purchase the full version (somewhere?).

  • Adobe LiveCycle Designer YOU and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro

I recently bought Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, it came with Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES.  When I create a new document with Acrobat 9, it takes me right in LiveCycle for design, which doesn't bother me.  However, the properties of each field are very limited in comparison with Acrobat 9.  So, the file I created with LiveCycle I want to be able to reopen with Acrobat 9 and reach the field with Acrobat 9 properties, but the system, I cannot do.  What I am doing wrong?

To force uppercase, enter the following text in the change like JavaScript event (make sure JavaScript is selected in the drop-down list top-right language):

    XFA. Event.change = xfa.event.change.toUpperCase ();

As you can see from the picture, there are a lot of palettes available on the right side to change fields. I hope this helps.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro - work is not on the platform of El Capitan OSX...

    Hello

I just bought a new mac running on OS X El Capitan and noticed that some of my Adobe products have problems or do not properly transfer to this operating system platform. I use "Adobe CS5 Premium" and "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro" and met the next 2 questions so far:

1 adobe Illustrator CS5 crashes whenever I use the eyedropper tool. Any suggestions on how to fix this? You do not yet know what other questions, I will meet you as I still test all the software included in the CS5 Premium package.

    2. in addition, when I bought the ' Adobe CS5 Premium ' package for use with Web/Design, it included "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro", for which I also have the serial number of the product (shown as recorded in my account Adobe). I downloaded from the Adobe downloads at the following site: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html and it won't open at all (I realize this is an older version). Any suggestions on fixing this or provide me a link to a level which would work in tandem with the CS5 on El Capitan OS X platform?

Thanks in advance to anyone who cares enough to provide useful solutions to the above.

    Hi e999999999,

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Mac OS El Capitan Adobe Acrobat required configuration.

Make sure that you use Acrobat in a compatible environment to make it functional.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro relocation errors

My hard drive crashed on my computer (replaced by a new one) and I had to reinstall my Adobe CS5 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. All CS5 reinstalled fine. However, whenever I have reinstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, it errors every time. It will install, but every time that you open the program, it stops immediately work and mistakes by saying that adobe Acrobat 9.3 has stopped working. Windows cannot find a solution, and then closes.

It never gives me the chance to enter my product key or register the product. I went to the Adobe product page and tried to download and install all updates, but nothing works. No matter what I do, it closes immediately. Any ideas?

My PC is Windows 7 - I got first install Acrobat on this PC when I had a year or two ago and it worked fine. Don't know what has changed.

    Thank you.

I just tried to reinstall it - again, it wasn't giving me the possibility to register or something. Closing the minute I opened Acrobat.

So I opened the Acrobat Distiller who installed with Acrobat and who have been asked to accept the agreement and register the product. Once I did - Acrobat started working again!

  • Can I get Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 and Adobe Document Cloud Pro installed on the same computer?

My office has recently obtained a license to Adobe Document Cloud Pro and wants me to test, look at the tools, etc. However, I am also responsible for the training and diagnosis with all personnel who use Adobe Acrobat Pro 11. For this reason, I need to access both. Is it possible to have both installed? If so, how?

    Thank you.

    Hi Ryan,

It is highly recommended by Adobe to install software on the system, either 11 Pro from Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. Installation of Adobe Acrobat DC Pro will automatically remove the previous version.

  • ADOBE ACROBAT 8 Pro Upgrdade / WIN 7 Pro INSTALLATION

I replace my computer from Windows XP pro to Windows 7 pro. To install Acrobat 8 Pro (that thing a license upgrade) I should install step by step the following software: Adobe Acrobat 6 Std > Adobe 7 Pro > Adobe Pro 8. This does not work with Win 7 Pro?

    Concerning

    Hi B M I,

Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro is not compatible with Windows 7. I've seen cases where the installation goes very well. And with workaround solutions, you can get Adobe installed PDF printer as well. But Adobe always discouraged to use Acrobat 8 on Windows 7. Why Acrobat 8 is not compatible because the code of Acrobat 8 has not been tested on Windows 7 and it is not fully optimized for Windows 7.

  • Installation of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro existing on new computer - the 'check upgrades'

I recently bought a new computer (Windows 8) as a replacement for my old computer (Windows XP).  I had bought and installed Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on the old computer in September 2009.  At that time, I had the serial number of the previous edition of Adobe Acrobat to load into the screen upgrade check during the installation of Acrobat 9.  I've just disabled the Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro for Windows XP machine and downloaded the machine to Windows 8 and the installation went well (always had the serial numbers for the Acrobat 9), until after the restart when screen 'upgrade Check"popped up.  I don't have any idea what was the serial number for the earlier version of Acrobat, I don't even remember what version of Acrobat, I had.  How can I continue to install my Acrobat 9 Pro?  I have used successfully for three years and more!

    Thank you.

If you have more information AA7, you will need to contact Adobe to determine the key of the software that you had before you allow installation. I hope that you had saved your previous product or at least the installation.

  • Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro and Windows 7 (64-bit)

I got a new computer running Win7 64-bit. I have a copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro, I am getting down to work on the new system. During the installation process, he raised an error by requesting the file adobepdf.dll of Windows Vista. Since I also have a computer running Vista, I was able to locate the necessary file to complete the installation. However, when I try to PDF a website for example, it displays an error to the Task Manager (clock lower). When I check the properties of the Adobe PDF printer, it shows the port as being "LPT1".

I contacted Adobe via online chat, but was directed to the website www.adobe.com/support. There, I could not find anything.

I guess the first question to ask is... Is Windows 7 64 bit & Adobe Pro 8 compatible? If so, what am I doing wrong? If this isn't the case, that answers the question here. When I asked the cat Adobe representative, all they said about the compatibility, is that it has not been tested on Win7, so they don't know.

I tried to make the facility a couple of times / ways. The first time I did the installation, I clicked on Cancel when she asked the file AdobePDF.dll Vista. I got the same results as I did when I found the file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
