  For the indicator message for messages, press menu, select display folder, all search folders

  including the browser messages and WAP push messages. See if you can find it.

• Unknown status indicator on the homepage blackBerry Smartphones

  Does anyone know what means the status indicator that resembles a smiling face with a red star on a look? He is the number 1 beside him. I know this means I have a kind of new message (or something) but no idea what or where.

  You find the icon for Yahoo or AOL and click on it. Look in any folder of applications, Instant Messaging folder or where ever. Look for BlackBerry Messenger too. Look for an icon with this same red asterisk indicating a new message.

  Could you hide it?  On your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL although SHOW EVERYTHING checked and look brand new.

  The edge lights and stays on for about 5 seconds and then turns off then that plugged. There was an indicator that identified the percentage of charge and I think that the time to full charge. These details will no longer appear.

  Just rebooted it and then reconnected it and edge came to light on, stayed on about 5 seconds, then * beep * down. indicator % etc. came not

  The battery charge indicator will disappear if the phone is in a dark place. If you turn on the light in the room or even shine a flashlight on the sensor just below the listener, you will see the battery charge indicator again. It has nothing to do with you keeping the device or not.

  It was reported on misconduct... weather Bluetooth that connects to the listener or the car. A software update its in the works earlier this month (June). I can't tell if that delivers its treaties or not since I am not fully aware at the moment, what this update will correct or improve.

  Hi, I recently had a status indicator showing at the top of the home screen, next to the flag of e-mail.  It is a star of gold with an inner star cutout. Looking at the help that screens, the closest indicator is that for 'new notice' even if it is a red circle with a cut-out star and it is certainly a different indicator. I assume that it can come from a download, but I'm not sure. Anyone know what this could be please?  Thank you very much

  Open "there you will find messages"(pas les messages texte) n a notification of some wth asks the same astrological sign, jst click on tht and if you dnt close it... jst installed App tht the astrological sign will be gone... ".

  This happened after I have change the custom theme.

  When I get a new sms, I have two separate indicator yellow envelope top of the screen. so I thought it might be the theme, then when I change back to a default theme, same problem. I asked in another forum, that they said that I had to sepearte my messages. Despite this he appeared as indicator of 1 email and sms 1 indicator. the option I have now selected is theme controlled, but it wasn't like that before. all solutions? or do I just reset my BB?

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

  (2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your carrier for formal support.

  Hi Alexs1804, is a message wap, for some reason any you or stop of the unit running in browser applications.

  To remove it, go to menu, main folder message, press menu, display folder, wap push messages, and clear it.

  Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside.   Are sure you you are in an area where you have a good network coverage signal strength or if falls frequently.

  While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or all supported. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.

  We should always try to close Applications correctly - avoid using key end to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage.
