Insert simple problem.
HelloI had a simple insert that throws the error on line 9 below
values ( & emp_id ,&emp_name );
PL/SQL: ORA-00936: missing expression
create or replace procedure emp_id ( p_test_input in varchar2 )
as
emp_id number;
emp_name varchar2(20);
manager_id
begin
if ( upper ( p_test_input ) = 'I' )
then
insert into emp
values ( & emp_id ,&emp_name ,&Manager_id,sysdate );
elsif ( upper ( p_test_input ) = 'D' )
then
delete from emp
where emp_id = &emp_id;
else
dbms_output.put_line
( 'Please input ''A'' for ADD or ''D'' Delete EMPLOYEE'
);
end if;
end;
Hello
Rede says:
Sudhakar,Thank you.
But I ihave to pass all variables as parameters when calling a stored procedure?
# If you give default values to arguments, then you can choose do not pass them on.
For example:
create or replace procedure emp_id
( p_test_input in varchar2
, p_emp_id in NUMBER DEFAULT 1
, p_mgr_id in NUMBER DEFAULT NULL
)
IS ...
You can call the procedure with 1, 2 or 3 arguments:
emp_id ('D');
emp_id ('I', 9876);
emp_id ('I', 9876, 9999);
The calls above are equivalent to the calls below, in order:
emp_id ('D', 1, NULL);
emp_id ('I', 9876, NULL);
emp_id ('I', 9876, 9999);
In this case if the user wants to delete only the operation he might know only remove emp_id not all information as emp_name, manager_id which are not null fields.
You can have two separate procedures: one for INTEGRATION and another to REMOVE.
Assuming that there is a good reason for having just a procedure, i.e. once when you call the procedure with an argument.
And also some we know only insertion of a PGE values and we cannot not simple pass null as a parameter to remove the condition.
Sorry, I don't understand this sentence.

Hey,.
This should be a simple problem, but I still can't get it to work.
I have a class. I have attached a bit of the code.
SerializableAttribute public class HttpRequestDispatcher extends Thread
{
private String url;
private string method
private NetworkingMainScreen screen;
public HttpRequestDispatcher()
{
This.URL = URL;
This.Method = Method;
This.screen = screen;
}
public void run()I'm trying to pass the value of the url to this class in the main class to help-
Private Sub getURL()
{
HttpRequestDispatcher dispatcher = new HttpRequestDispatcher (urlField.getText (), "GET", this);
Dispatcher.Start (); urlField.getText (), "GET", this
}This gives an error and it takes the HttpRequestDispatcher class doesn't have the parameters of acceptany. But how to solve the problem
Thank you very much
public HttpRequestDispatcher (String url, String method, screen NetworkingMainScreen)
{
This.URL = URL;
This.Method = Method;
This.screen = screen;
}Follow these steps, u did not use formal arguments in the constructor

Hi Experts,
I am new to Oracle. Ask for your help to fix the performance of a query of insertion problem.
I have an insert query that is go search for records of the partitioned table.
Background: the user indicates that the query was running in 30 minutes to 10 G. The database is upgraded to 12 by one of my colleague. Now the query works continuously for hours, but no result. Check the settings and SGA is 9 GB, Windows - 4 GB. DB block size is 8192, DB Multiblock read file Count is 128. Overall target of PGA is 2457M.

Firstly, thank you for posting the 10g implementation plan, which was one of the key things that we were missing.
Second, you realize that you have completely different execution plans, so you can expect different behavior on each system.
Your package of 10g has a total cost of 23 959 while your plan of 12 c has a cost of 95 373 which is almost 4 times more. All things being equal, cost is supposed to relate directly to the time spent, so I expect the 12 c plan to take much more time to run.
From what I can see the 10g plan begins with a scan of full table on DEALERS, and then a full scan on SCARF_VEHICLE_EXCLUSIONS table, and then a full scan on CBX_tlemsani_2000tje table, and then a full scan on CLAIM_FACTS table. The first three of these analyses tables have a very low cost (2 each), while the last has a huge cost of 172K. Yet once again, the first three scans produce very few lines in 10g, less than 1,000 lines each, while the last product table scan 454 K lines.
It also looks that something has gone wrong in the 10g optimizer plan - maybe a bug, which I consider that Jonathan Lewis commented. Despite the full table scan with a cost of 172 K, NESTED LOOPS it is part of the only has a cost of 23 949 or 24 K. If the math is not in terms of 10g. In other words, maybe it's not really optimal plan because 10g optimizer may have got its sums wrong and 12 c might make his right to the money. But luckily this 'imperfect' 10g plan happens to run fairly fast for one reason or another.
The plan of 12 starts with similar table scans but in a different order. The main difference is that instead of a full table on CLAIM_FACTS scan, it did an analysis of index on CLAIM_FACTS_AK9 beach at the price of 95 366. It is the only main component of the final total cost of 95 373.
Suggestions for what to do? It is difficult, because there is clearly an anomaly in the system of 10g to have produced the particular execution plan that he uses. And there is other information that you have not provided - see later.
You can try and force a scan of full table on CLAIM_FACTS by adding a suitable example suspicion "select / * + full (CF) * / cf.vehicle_chass_no...". "However, the tips are very difficult to use and does not, guarantee that you will get the desired end result. So be careful. For the essay on 12 c, it may be worth trying just to see what happens and what produces the execution plan looks like. But I would not use such a simple, unique tip in a production system for a variety of reasons. For testing only it might help to see if you can force the full table on CLAIM_FACTS scan as in 10g, and if the performance that results is the same.
The two plans are parallel ones, which means that the query is broken down into separate, independent steps and several steps that are executed at the same time, i.e. several CPUS will be used, and there will be several readings of the disc at the same time. (It is a mischaracterization of the works of parallel query how). If 10g and 12 c systems do not have the SAME hardware configuration, then you would naturally expect different time elapsed to run the same parallel queries. See the end of this answer for the additional information that you may provide.
But I would be very suspicious of the hardware configuration of the two systems. Maybe 10 g system has 16-core processors or more and 100's of discs in a matrix of big drives and maybe the 12 c system has only 4 cores of the processor and 4 disks. That would explain a lot about why the 12 c takes hours to run when the 10 g takes only 30 minutes.
Remember what I said in my last reply:
"Without any contrary information I guess the filter conditions are very low, the optimizer believes he needs of most of the data in the table and that a table scan or even a limited index scan complete is the"best"way to run this SQL. In other words, your query takes just time because your tables are big and your application has most of the data in these tables. "
When dealing with very large tables and to do a full table parallel analysis on them, the most important factor is the amount of raw hardware, you throw the ball to her. A system with twice the number of CPUS and twice the number of disks will run the same parallel query in half of the time, at least. It could be that the main reason for the 12 c system is much slower than the system of 10g, rather than on the implementation plan itself.
You may also provide us with the following information which would allow a better analysis:
- Row counts in each tables referenced in the query, and if one of them are partitioned.
- Hardware configurations for both systems - the 10g and the 12 a. Number of processors, the model number and speed, physical memory, CPU of discs.
- The discs are very important - 10g and 12 c have similar disk subsystems? You use simple old records, or you have a San, or some sort of disk array? Are the bays of identical drives in both systems? How are they connected? Fast Fibre Channel, or something else? Maybe even network storage?
- What is the size of the SGA in both systems? of values for MEMORY_TARGET and SGA_TARGET.
- The fact of the CLAIM_FACTS_AK9 index exist on the system of 10g. I guess he does, but I would like that it confirmed to be safe.

Insert the problem using a SELECT table with an index by TRUNC function
I came across this problem when you try to insert a select query, select returns the correct results, but when you try to insert the results into a table, the results are different. I found a work around by forcing a selection order, but surely this is a bug in Oracle as how the value of select statements may differ from the insert?
Platform: Windows Server 2008 R2
11.2.3 Oracle Enterprise Edition
(I've not tried to reproduce this on other versions)
Here are the scripts to create the two tables and the data source:
Now, execute the select statement:CREATE TABLE source_data ( ID NUMBER(2), COUNT_DATE DATE ); CREATE INDEX IN_SOURCE_DATA ON SOURCE_DATA (TRUNC(count_date, 'MM')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120101', 'YYYYMMDD')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120102', 'YYYYMMDD')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120103', 'YYYYMMDD')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120201', 'YYYYMMDD')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120202', 'YYYYMMDD')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120203', 'YYYYMMDD')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120301', 'YYYYMMDD')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120302', 'YYYYMMDD')); INSERT INTO source_data VALUES (1, TO_DATE('20120303', 'YYYYMMDD')); CREATE TABLE result_data ( ID NUMBER(2), COUNT_DATE DATE );
You should get the following:SELECT id, TRUNC(count_date, 'MM') FROM source_data GROUP BY id, TRUNC(count_date, 'MM')
Now insert in the table of results:1 2012/02/01 1 2012/03/01 1 2012/01/01
Select the table, and you get:INSERT INTO result_data SELECT id, TRUNC(count_date, 'MM') FROM source_data GROUP BY id, TRUNC(count_date, 'MM');
The most recent month is repeated for each line.1 2012/03/01 1 2012/03/01 1 2012/03/01
Truncate your table and insert the following statement and results should now be correct:
If someone has encountered this problem before, could you please let me know, I don't see what I make a mistake because the selection results are correct, they should not be different from what is being inserted.INSERT INTO result_data SELECT id, TRUNC(count_date, 'MM') FROM source_data GROUP BY id, TRUNC(count_date, 'MM') ORDER BY 1, 2;
Published by: user11285442 on May 13, 2013 05:16
Published by: user11285442 on May 13, 2013 06:15Most likely a bug in 11.2.0.3. I can reproduce on Red Hat Linux and AIX.
You can perform a search on MOS to see if this is a known bug (very likely), if not then you have a pretty simple test box to open a SR with.

As it is a form ajax post then the form data should be inserted into your database using the insert.php script. All in the form of ajax jQuery is passed to the script of treatment if you process in the insert script it should work o/k.
You must then include a text response to aid a statement simple echo in your insert script, this should include everything that you want to appear on your page.
Php in your insert script would be similar to.
At the beginning of the script.
$date = $_POST ['msg_date'];
At the bottom of the script.
If {($success)
echo "Inserted on $date ';
} else {}
echo "there was a problem processing your information.';
}The jQuery to achieve code would be-
Perform tasks of post-tabling
function showResponse (responseText, statusText) {}
$('.response').text (responseText);
}More-
success: showResponse,
Treatment options in your ajax form
And just include a
where you want to display in your html code.

EndStream
endobj8 0 obj
< < AR 31 > >

Q
EndStream
endobj------------------------------------------------
.. .or ' FF0000... Ff0000' is the string printed FF0000 4500 (150 * 30) times.
In the pdf file, I see a small red square.
What's wrong?
Thank you in advance.I have attached the PDF in question.
Marra Domenico
Your problem is your flow of content is not correct: specifically, you are not ' understanding of the work of the Community trade mark with regard to the images. Common mistake.
Unlike the objects text & vector, where the a & d values of the matrix are graduation leave with a ratio of 1:1 (for example 1.0 = 100%) - for the image, it is in the real pixel values so that in this case means shows a picture of a 1 x 1 pixel. For your image, to display at 100%, you should use 30 0 0 150.
In addition, do not use ASCIIHexEncode, it serves to inflate the size of your PDF for no real gain.

Windows 7 on simple problem installing Tecra A7
Hello!
I have a big problem with my installation of Windows 7. The story is the following:
-bought a new (250GB) HD and Windows 7 Progessional
-replaced existing Tecra A7 HD new HD (120 GB)
-Installed Windows 7 Professional 32 bit simple hard diskSo far so good, everything works.
Now, I wanted to install the drivers released by Toshiba Tecra A7 for Windows 7 (32 bit)
-Everything works, without the back driver and audio driver. Whenever I start the installation executable program leaves without saying any error message.
-J' have therefore no display driver on my system now and not in the 1280 x 800 resolution support - which is very ugly
-I have no audio Realtek driver on the system (but works its basic system)What can I do? Help, please!
I've found a workaround
Here: http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/7838-ati-mobility-x1400-build-7100-x64.html you will find drivers for X 1400 (also see X 1600) for Win7 32 and 64 bit -
Simple problem - HP 4 technicians - baffled very disappointed
I have a laptop DV9500. It has a bilingual keyboard. Pressing function + home does not give me "printscreen" as indicated on the keyboard.
I tried many languages of entry selected from several versions of Windows, and the print screen function will not work.
To see a photo of the keyboard (I found the image on google): click here
The laptop is fine. The keyboard is fine. I tested the two completely.
What is not fine is no HP has a solution to this fundamental problem. They transferred me 5 times today, sometimes up to the assumption of level 2 and then come back. I had this problem since day 1 and I continued to call and call and nobody had ever a solution. Finally after the call once a month to see that if a solution was available, my warranty missed and no past level 1 talk to me. This deserves some attention more.
Here are a few possible solutions:
(1) one must 'stick' after pressng printscreen.
I know how to use this feature.
(2) your button is broken.
The standard function of the button is fine. The function key is fine. The two handset is not very well. It seems unlikely that the button is just half broken.
(3) restart, entry to remove from other languages, etc.
I did the next best thing. I formatted several times with multiple operating systems.
(4) try a new keyboard.
I did not yet because if I buy a new one on ebay, and the same problem happens again, now I have the money wasted, but I will try to use the keyboard to someone else to see what is happening, but I doubt that the keyboard is very broken highy. Printscreen works with a keyboard USB (duhh).
(5) your motherboard is broken.
No, it's not, I tried two motherboards. The same problem.
(6) uninstall the keyboard driver.
Been there, tried.
(7) try
and see what happens. Here is a list of some of the input languages that I have tried:
English (Canada) - U.S.
English (Canada) - Canadian French
English (Canada) - Canadian multilingual Standard
English (United States)-U.S.
English (United States)-United States-International
(8) antivirus, spyware, etc.
This is not it.
At this point I'm transferred once again, perhaps to support level 2, perhaps to another guy in India, and the same thing happens again. I'm pretty resolved that HP has designed a product that does not, does not and will not work as advertised.
Either way, blue french characters also do not work properly. Selecting a layout in french and using the different shortcuts to activate the "weird" symbols don't work. A lot of research on google and forum navigates more later gave no solution either. What happens here?
Message edited by NArkshaRK on 05/09/2009 18:10I solved this problem. HP installed incorrect keyboards on this range of notebooks. Some of the buttons are labeled incorrectly.
Regarding the printscreen, it is hidden under the insert/scroll button. I found this by using battlefield game. I went to the controls set up and pressed every button and copied what the game says was pressed.

I have some html that I'm trying to insert. I tried too stick and insert using "insert html" in the subject. The HTML 'object' comes without a problem, but it shifts my footer right without apparent reason. Remove the object and everything returns to normal. I pasted the HTML below to see if anyone can sport the glitch.

The HTML code you are trying to insert is not valid.
You are missing a closing for your opening div tag make sure you copy all the code embed everywhere where you get this HTML code from.

When I insert PNG images in Captivate 5.5, the contours change color and become Red, green, etc.
I use PNG images because it allows me to have Forms with the Center transparent (like the grey in the video lines). Is it the format that the causes problems? If Yes, what format I could use that would allow me to keep transparent areas ?
Little surprised by the response of the stem.
That slide quality do you use? If it's 'Down - 8-bit' try to change for optimized or high - 24-bit and check the result.

Never over charge when downloaded, xml, very simple problem Gallery
Hi all
I'm havin a very stupid problem atm, I made this slide show very simple wich loads images via an XML file. Everything works very well locally, load slideshow images nice blablabla. But problems when I load up my server, once it is downloaded and I try t o play I get this error:
[QUOTE] Error #2044: Unmanaged by the IOErrorEvent:. Text = Error #2036: finished loading never. [/ QUOTE]
It has something to do with the .xml file that I load here as:
var request_xml:URLRequest=new URLRequest("setup.xml");
I tried to replace it with ("http://www.semagames.be/.../setup.xml" ' "), but then I got a sandbox violation error that is not solvable, unless you get signed (I read that somewhere).
The way I load the images in XML format:
<SLIDE_SHOW> <PICTURE>ImagesBw/Foto1.JPG</PICTURE> ... </SLIDE_SHOW>
The file, a great pain in the * ss, can be found here: http://semagames.be/testplaats/kutbucht/BG.swf
Anyone who can help me out here? would be greatly appreciated.
your images are tiny extension. Attach your xml file.

Hi I have a scheduled task that executes the code below, I have problems with it.
what I have to do is
1. get all the records of appoint_table where the servertime is lessthan present (which I'm sure that my request is ok).
2. define a TotalSMSLeft session that gets users credit left.
3. If the credit users is SUPERIOR to 0, follow this
3. send an email
UPDATE appoint_table 3 b. delete the server time
3 c. Select all records that servertime is empty
3D. Insert in SMS_Records where servertime is empty
3. remove all records where servertime is empty.
4. If not, remove all records in which servertime is empty.
Maybe I owe a lot of code for what I m doing?
can some help me please with the best code to use
Thank you very muchI think it's get sent twice because your
tag is inside a of your GetSchH1 request, but you also have your tag a loop in the query (query = "GetSchH1"). Delete the query = "GetSchH1" of your tag and it should only send 1 copy of each. Also, I would perform your deletions outside your loops - in this way, you only need to do 1 connection to the database to delete everything and you won't delete other records before send you by e-mail.
