Hello, I got completely blocked on my HP Deskjet 3070 all-in-one. It worked very well for a few years. All of a sudden it would not use black ink at all. Other colors print correctly. Of course, I replaced the black ink with new cartridge, and of course, I tried the printhead cleaning options. I then tried to follow the instruction to perform a reset of the printer, but the result was that I now get a 'thanks for choosing HP' every time that I turn on the printer, and when I press 'OK' to it, I always get the message "using INSTALLATION cartridges." I saw several solutions to this on this forum and have tried to follow each of the variations, but nothing helped. I tried to unplug the power supply with cartridges and cartridges on. Still the same message: "cartridges to use Setup. I live in the United Kingdom, and the call to UK support led nowhere. I can't find any official information in my documentation on resets how, when, or why use cartridges of configuration (other than the initial Setup after purchase). I threw long my cartridges installation, as I had no idea that they were essential later, and they had to run out of ink. I was ready to buy new cartridges to install, if necessary, but can not find a place to buy them online (and I guess HP can give them anyway). In addition, I don't know if the cartridges of configuration are related to a print head, so that everything must be replaced at all. Any help at all would be appreciated.

    How do you reset the printer? A simple reset of factory of façade should not do.

    I have a guide to suggest for you below to use for the problem you are having with your Photosmart D110 model showing you that the cartridges were installed incorrectly.

    "At least one of the cartridges has a problem", "Non HP cartridges installed", "Incompatible cartridge" or "Wrong cartridge" Error Message is displayed on the control panel

    I have an OfficeJet Pro 8100 printer and I just replaced my cartridges installation.  Is it possible that I need these ever again?  In other words, are there any circumstances in which the printer may need to 'reset' that require the presence of the cartridges installation?

    Hey provide,.

    If you have configured the printer before with success, then you will not have these cartridges Setup again for the printer HP Officejet Pro 8100.  These can be eliminated in a respectful way (instead of an ink cartridge recycling).

    The only time that these may be necessary once again, this is if the printhead needs to be replaced in the x 8100. According to the HP paper for cartridges SETUP:

    • When you install a new print head, you must install the cartridges supplied with the print head CONFIGURATION.

    I used the vBundle-1 on my foglight v5 server. This week, I decided to make a fresh load and go with v6.5 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. Now when I try to install the vBundle-1, I get the following error. Anyone seen this before?

  • Newly installed cartridges are not printing black or yellow.

    I have a Photosmart C4280, which has recently been opened and installed for the first time. All was still in the original packaging. The print cartridges had never opened up when I installed them, but they do not seem to be printing black or yellow.

    It doesn't seem to be an error message associated with the problem. It happens every time I try to print the allignment installation page, or through the printer utility test pages. However, the printer does not think that something is wrong. It's playback of almost full for all cartridges ink levels.

    The printer is connected to a computer running OS x 10.6.8. I have updated the printer drivers using this linkto the HP Web site.

    The printer has this problem when plugged on a powerstrip and when plugged into a wall outlet.

    This should not be a problem of USB, because the USB cord that I use is brand new, I bought it from Office Max a week ago.

    I tried "resetting" the printer by unplugging the power cord and by plugging it in 30 seconds later. It makes not a difference.

    A form of cleaning utility is fine and accomplishes the same thing would be this from the control panel of the printer.   If the cartridges are dried out it is not a way to get back them. I would go buy a new black cartridge and three colors for this computer.

    The built-in LCD display, it shows that all 4 cartridges are not installed.  I reinstalled and replaced without success.  The diagnosis of disable cartridge I would like to print a test page (without printing anything on paper of course), narrowing of the troubleshooting.  Our company is to buy cheaper cartridges from Staples instead of HP, but this has not changed and has worked with the printer before recently.  Recently, someone has changed the cartridges and loosed a spring on unrolling transfer.  Here are my questions for the community:

    1. where can I check if the cartridges are recommended HP?

    2. where can I find a service manual for the transfer kit and cartridge loading areas are set up correctly?

    With Diagnostics enabled disabled cartridge, the test pages are not able to print.  In the process of troubleshooting, I have about 30 pages printed and got 1 out the top normally.  The 1 that came out before was a stroke of luck.  The error is jam in the TOP COVER, there are 2 pages stuck, the first one was just before the block of detecting color registration.

    3. How can I clear the error message on the cartridges is not not present?

    After completing the service manual troubleshooting steps in table 7-2 (at page 277), I decided to replace the controller memory of the electronic label PCB.  This does not solve the problem.  After seeing a small piece of metal near the lower left corner of the ETB, I found it in the manual (Figure 6-40, page 221).  I couldn't get it back in so I decided to take the drum out of re training - install (page 219-221).  It worked!

    If it is and ask cartridges of well installation, or the same problem persists, it will be time to consider an upgrade!

    I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  This could be a problem with the hardware cartridge or unit; However it can also be related to connectivity.  You are able to print a test page for the unit itself? Please see the procedure to print a test page for the device to determine if the material is shown below.  If the test page is empty or contains flaws, click here for the action on this issue.

    To print the page of unit test:

    1. On the product control panel, press the (arrow) down to select settings and pressOK .
    2. Press the (arrow) downward to select Tools and press OK .
    3. Press the (arrow) downward to select Print Quality Report and press OK . The report prints.
