Install unsigned driver caused network connectivity problem

Original title: problem with deterministic network improve miniport - unsigned driver

We recently bought a new laptop of Lenovo Edge E540.  When we installed our software Client Cisco it installs a driver Miniport of Deterministic Network Enhancer for each of the adapters.  These drivers are not signed, and it blocks my network connection.  We have laptops Lenovo E540 since a previous order and it didn't happen.  Is there a way I can remove the miniport driver and/or to allow the drivers can be installed not signed?

Hello

If the driver is not signed it means that this driver is also not have a digital signature, or it has been signed with a digital signature that is not verified by a certification authority. Therefore, we do not recommend installing unsigned drivers as this is a security feature that makes it much more difficult for average users to install malicious hardware drivers on their systems. You must install this driver if you obtained this disc from the manufacturer of origin or from your system administrator.

Is the computer on the domain?

To uninstall the unsigned driver, you can see the steps mentioned below.
1. press Windows + R, type devmgmt.msc, and then click ok.
2. now look for and right-click on the driver and click on uninstall.

3. restart the computer.

Alternatively, you can contact Cisco support community for assistance on this issue:

    Hello

Have you tried to reset your laptop to a time before this issue started with a Windows 7 Restore Point?  If it is a parameter change or software this restore point can help solve what is at the origin of the problem.

I'd also, of course, when you are resetting the router, to make sure that you let it sit for at least 30 seconds to a minute before plugging power back in.  You may need to do a few times to clear his memory to be able to connect.

In addition, have updated the drivers for the wireless card?  What version of driver currently installed in the system?  You can consult our support site, enter your serial number and click on drivers & Downloads to find the driver for your wireless card.

Finally, have you tried to empty the wireless profiles that are currently stored in your system?   If you delete the profile current wireless (which is to control your connection to the router), reboot your system, and try to reconnect Windows will rebuild the profile and hopefully allow you to log in again.

I would like to know if any of this helps.  To help resolve this more effectively please click on my user name Dell Todd and send me a private message with the Number of Dell Service from your system.  Please keep all troubleshooting and discussions on this thread open so that others can find the information they need to solve their problems.

Locally add cluster of highway or having to make cluster of 4 motorway between locations?

How far are the peers of the highway on the other, what is the round trip time?  This should be within 30ms.

Can you confirm that all highways in the cluster have the same keys option installed on all peers, as it is a requirement, call license quantities can be different, but the features option enable/disable keys must be the same.  Additionally, make sure that the version of the software installed is the same, that you have a version mismatch or could be active where encryption the other not.

Regarding the "this highway is part of a cluster, but is not the master of the configuration... '. "this message is normal for a node that is not the master, as it is said just only make changes on the master, since all changes on the slave will be replaced by the master.

What should I do if I normally connect to the wireless network does not appear?  It is not a network card problem, because I can connect to other wireless and school and other places.  I tried to reset the router, ping and by unplugging and seeing what I could understand on the computer at home, but nothing does.  Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Have you tried other computers to connect to your router? You use both wire and wireless
    connection?

Unplug the modem and Router 3 + minutes. And then reconnect the modem - when it is running
Plug in the router - when it is running - restart the computer. This is known as a hard reset.

Check with your router manufacturer support.

    Hi Kvhan,

    1. are you using cable or wireless network?

2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

This problem can occur because of network settings, try the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Run the network troubleshooter utility.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

    Method 2:

This problem can occur if authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network checkbox is enabled. If this box is checked, but there is no server to authenticate the connection is interrupted. If you turn on the wireless network connection, it disconnects again after a short period.

To disable authentication IEEE 802. 1 X, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, type ncpa.cpl, and then press ENTER.

    b. right click on your wireless network connection, then click Properties.

    c. click the wireless networks tab.

    d. under preferred networks, click your wireless network, and then click Properties.

    Hello

It seems the LAN and WLan driver are not installed properly

Are you using the right drivers?
What U300 do you have exactly?

To my knowledge, the error message is usually for use of non compatible drivers
Try to install a diagnostic tool of material such as Everest, Avast or Sandra.
This should help you to get more details on the Wlan and LAN, then you might find the compatible drivers!
