  • Disk defragmentation repeated after you install a Registry Cleaner program.

    Original title: Disk Defragmenter

    Hello.

I use Windows XP Prof and IE 8.

"After" install a Registry Cleaner program, a disk defragmentation task was executed, and he indicated that the volume needs to be defragmented. Subsequently, the task of disk defragmentation was performed again and he said that 'always' volume must be defragmented even if there is nothing to defragment (no red line showing).

'Before' installing the program Registry Cleaner, disk defragmentation task was performed and she would declare that the volume needs to be defragmented. Subsequently, the task of disk defragmentation was performed again and he said that the volume was already defragmented (no red line showing).

Why the registry cleaner would lead the program Defragmenter to 'think' that he needs to defragment even after this has been done (and no red line showing)?

    Thanks in advance.

I will not bore to 'clear all' regularly because I can see the red error icon and the yellow warning icon clearly by scroll.

Bottom line: Defrag works so I will continue to "analyze" and defragment every day when there are red lines in the graph, but not worthwhile to defragment a second time, unless the red lines still appear.

Thank you 'a lot' to work on this issue with me - It is much appreciated.

  • Resolution for Intel(r) Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 required when installing a registry cleaner

I've installed a registry cleaner but was taken aback. vacuuming has highlighted a suggestion that it requires a resolution of 1024 x 700, and the highest resolution for Intel GMA 3600 is 1024 x 600. I want to create a resolution custom above in support of various applications that require a higher resolution. How can I do this?

    MM

Short answer is you can't.  resolution is defined by the hardware and the driver.

The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 or GMA 3600 is integrated (for example in the Atom N2600) graphics without dedicated memory.

Just update you 13 windows 7 items... I sat until midnight and found the program data and ended up finding the catalog. I deleted the catalog now. and uninstalled items 13. I hope that when I reinstall it will be like new, and I can go back again. I had messed up I saw when viewing the photos in the media, it was media files and thought they shouldn't be there so I deleted them. Maybe thinking about now I get an error. Before, I made a slideshow with the media from the drive. I just started using elements 13 I used windows live previously for videos. Can you let me know also what photoshop elements or first, you use the most.  Also if I import video files in why do I see them I think of thumbnails. That's where I went wrong and thinking, they shouldn't be here. I brought a few books and trying to go through the learning process. What camera do you use?  Many questions sorry. • Install Windows 7 clean

Hey guys, I recently bought an HP computer for a family member. Unfortunately, to my disgust, he came with pre-installed software that I should not be used, most - if not all are not present on a clean install of Windows 7.

Which brings me to my question -

What is the best way to do a clean install on a HP computer? I can manually uninstall all of the programs, I don't want that moved, but it takes time...

I have a Windows 7 reinstall drive which is entered with a Dell PC I bought earlier - I have tried to do a clean reinstall using this disc and reached the last step, but decided to do incase this voilated no warranty. So, I came here to ask - it's a safe way to do a clean install?

    Hello:

You should be able to use the recovery disks, if something goes wrong.

Regarding activation... I'll say it once again.

First, find your product key on your PC. It should be on the top or side of the PC.  If it's Windows 7 Home Premium, there should be an on this 25-digit product key and description of Windows 7 Home Premium OA.  IF your Dell installation disk is also Windows 7 Home Premium, so you shouldn't have problems with activation using your product key.

You will need the product key on your PC. As Hanspuppa writes that the OEM drives are Dell SLIC 2.1. Which means that if the drive is used on any other PC as a Dell, the pre-activation does not work and you will be presented with a message to activate Windows.

If you click on activate via internet now without changing the product key, activation will fail.  Thus, any changes should activate the product key by clicking on the link that says "Change product key" under Windows Activation and enter the key of 25 characters off the sticker of your PC and windows and you should now see the blue Windows Genuine logo.

wssmith: I could not agree more with you. Nothing like a clean install with just the first OS and drivers. Most of the things that comes pre-installed is the trial anyway.

Now there are also some good things, and before you wipe your OS, get a portable hard drive and copy out of your whole SWSetup folder because that contains the installation for the programs files and drivers supplied with your PC. You can decide to only install certain software provided with your PC.

You can in your DVD burning software, you may want Microsoft Works, etc. These installation files must be located in

This main SWSetup folder in several subfolders.

One thing that you will lose, and there is no installation files for Office 2010 Starter is. Who will be gone and irretrievable except through the partition recovery or recovery disks, you did.  You will not be able to install on your own installation of W7.

Marcus: whether to continue or not is entirely up to you.  Your recovery discs should work where the experiment fails, and I think that you have no problem with the Dell disk in any case too long your HP product key corresponds to the version of Dell to the OS you install.

So I went to my mother in the House to the right to download the drivers on a CD and a flash drive from the Gateway Web site.  I tried to install the drivers, but when he finished he had nothing. No confirmation or anything.  After that I thought I had installed the drivers, I rebooted my system.  At the start, I checked device ag Manager and received the same error message.  so then I used the update driver option to run manually by the pilots, it didn't work.  I don't know what else to do. 1. Have you changed the motherboard on the computer?
    2. Using 32 bit or 64 bit of Windows 7?

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28). For more information about this error, see this Microsoft KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310123#28

  • A W7 64-bit update can be installed as a clean copy on a new PC, or an earlier version of W7 should there be?

Okay, so here's my dilemma. A few months ago when the use of my desktop PC which had a full version of Windows 7 Professional 32 - bit, I advanced and bought the Professional upgrade 64-bit of the Microsoft Student Store. However, a few weeks later, my computer died - motherboard problem, so I gave out for parts. Last month, I decided to build a whole new configuration with a quad core chip AMD FX, 16 GB of ram DDR3-PC 2100. I also put in 2 hard drives SSD and a player regular 3 TB and lots of other goodies. In any case, I realized then that my version of Windows 7 64 bit upgrade is just that - an upgrade, which means I have a previous version installed on this new PC to upgrade, because I think it takes the BOOTMGR from the previous version to be upgraded.   However, I remember having seen lots of articles in the past months to be able to make a copy fully bootable Windows 7 for which I could install a whole new clean copy of W7 64 bit on it, despite only having the upgrade ISO. The problem is, I can't seem to find them and do not know how to or if there is even an option.  So in summary: can I use my ISO Windows 7 64-bit upgrade - put it on a flash drive and install it as a copy new and clean Professional 64 - bit of Windows 7 on my new PC without needing a more/less functional Windows version to upgrade-already on this (new) computer? IF SO - HOW? IF THIS ISN'T THE CASE-WHAT SHOULD I DO AT LA PLACE? There must be workarounds!

You said that you had a full version of Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. You can use it as proof of purchase, as long as you have proof of it, certificate of authenticity. In addition, the license must be a full retail version.

If your computer comes with a qualifying previous license such as Windows Vista or Windows XP and the certificate of authenticity is still attached to the machine in good condition, then the COST is reason enough to represent the compliance to the software license agreement. No previous required software installation, which means you can do a clean install with Windows 7 Upgrade disk.

How to do a clean install with upgrade disc:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

    Click on drive Options

Select the disc/s click on Delete

    Click new

    Click on apply

    Click OK

Click Format, and then click next to proceed with the installation

Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.

When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click the link x days before activation.

Click on the link that says: "show me other ways to activate.

    Enter the product key

    Click next

Select the Activation of the phone

Click Next when you enter your key page

    Select your country

Click Next, call the number listed

Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.

Provide the installation generated when ID requested by the call agent

They give a confirmation ID in return, enter it

Click next to complete the activation.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • Windos 8 clean installation of a new SSD

I have problems, do a clean install of Windows 8 for a new SSD.

I'm suing the 64-bit Windows 8 pro upgrade CD - in the retail box.

The BIOS is set to AHCI. I told the computer to boot from the CD/DVD drive. I put the SSD in an Icy Dock adapter.  I replaced the hard C with an SSD drive.  I unplugged the second HD and all USB devices except the keyboard and mouse. Everything seemed OK.  (I checked the connectors and did several times.) I inserted disk pro upgrade Windows 8 and power running.  He went through the usual initial installation.  He then asked "where do you want to install windows? It shows no disc.  He assane "we haven't found all the disks.  For a storage driver, click on load a driver. »

After clicking on load a driver, it says "to install the device driver for your drive, insert the installation media containing the driver files, and then click OK. Note the installation media can be a flash drive, CD, DVD, or USB. "There are browse and recan buttons, which do not help.

Clicking OK search a little while and then he said: 'no signed device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers. »

Well, no disk not supplied with the SSD (a crucial M500 960GB).

I have triple checked the connections, and they seem OK.

I'm stuck at this point - what could be the problem?

    ======

Added: This computer (I use another right now) came with Win7, but I upgraded to Win8 with the upgrade of the box retail, then to 8.1 with the download from the shop Windows.  He then worked with Win 8 and 8.1.  If I put the HD in, it works as it did, but I need to do a clean install on the new SSD.

Well Yes may be the card it connects directly to the port

Well, I took the SSD to the Icy Dock adapter and taped in temporarily, and he now sees the SSD!  I checked the SSD into the adapter and it seemed safe.  He hung in place, etc.

    And now it's 'customize '.

Thanks a lot (and everyone else).

    Hello.

I really need help. I'm working on three different projects I have Adobe first CC and I'm also using AE and hearing. A few days ago they all stopped working when I started my computer. When I tried to start Creative cloud was just a blank window which stood, in other words, it didn't load anything. And when I tried to open the first or two other applications that I had installed nothing's happened. I went into the folder the programs must be installed in and you press the icon it and a small window with a warning text that presented themselves. He said something like: this application went or moved when it cannot be found. So I tried to uninstall all programs CC, used tool cleaning, restarted the computer and everything has been installed again, but as soon as I restarted the computer it's still the same as before. After this a few times and searching around the internet and didn't find anything that helped I tried to format my computer and do a clean install of windows. I am using windows 7 by the way. Now, I tried to download creative cloud and install again, but all of a sudden that doesn't quite work. This window opens instead:
