  • Installation of the printer. error: "printer spooler does not.

    Software printer installation error message, "printer spooler does not" no printer is installed or deposited.

    This suggestion can help.

    Quote from: http://snipurl.com/1mdayq [www_eventid_net]

    From a newsgroup post: "it seems that the print spooler does not and that it was impossible (or not configured to) restart itself.» When the print spooler does not work, printers will be not visible in the Printers folder, and you will not be able to add a new printer. A number of things could cause the print spooler to fail. It's corrupt print jobs, incompatible or problematic printer drivers or port monitors, corrupted file or disc and even other applications or processes interfering with the spooler in memory. If you try to manually restart the print spooler and it fails immediately, he may be trying to process a print job corrupted after the start. It is a common cause for the print spooler failures that occur immediately. If the print spooler starts and printing features returns for a while before a failure once again, then a monitor driver or the port is probably the cause of the problem.

    To remove print spooling jobs that could cause this problem, simply remove (or remove) the files with the extension ".spl" or ".shd' of the location of the coil when the print spooler is stopped. This place is typically "c:\\system32\spool\printers" (it might have been edited manually). Once the existing spool files have been deleted, try to restart the print spooler again to see if it works normally. If there is no (.shd or .spl files) spooling print jobs, or remove the old spooling print jobs does not change the behavior, a port monitor or driver may be to blame. • An error 0 x 00000643 attachment with the installation of the printer

    I am running Windows Vista on a laptop and I am trying to install a wireless printer.  I get error 0 x 00000643.  I went to the windows support center and performed all workaround solutions that he suggested.  The WSD port has been deleted, but whenever I try to install the printer fails and returns the WSD port.  When the WSD port is removed, the installation fails without code.  I've had this installed printer so it worked before.  Any ideas?

    Hi Moyerhouse,

    Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

    (a) don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?
    (b) who is the manufacturer of the printer?

    I first suggest you to run the tool to 'Fix' of Microsoft that automatically diagnoses and repairs printing problems, installation of a printer, connecting to a network printer and other related errors.

    Solve printer problems
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-printer-problems

    Let ' also install the latest drivers for the printer from the manufacturer's website and check if it helps.

    OR

    You can also uninstall the printer using the network browser and install it again. To do this, follow these steps:
    Open the network and sharing Center. To do this, type Network Center and sharing in the search box and then click Network Center and sharing in the list programs.
    In the pane tasks, click view computers and devices.
    Locate the printer, and then right click on the printer to uninstall.
    Once the printer is uninstalled, connect the printer to the computer again. The Plug-and-Play service begins to install the printer.

    HP8500 A909A, the installation program recognizes printer, but cannot connect

    Ok.

    It is installed by USB on the other printer?

    Did you share the printer?

    have you set up a virtual usb port?

    Have you tried to use the diagnosis of HP printer installation utility to help Setup and configuration of your printer?

    It would have been simpler to use the LAN connector so the other PC online would not be a condition for its availability.

    (1) connect the printer with the LAN connector to your network switch or router and turn it on.

    (2) make sure that the IP address of the printer is your network subnet via the embedded Web server or printer print Panel menu.

    (3) set it up as a network on all PCs compuuter to make it available for use

  • Problem with Windows update during the installation of the printer

    I tried several times to install an older printer to the Epson (Stylus Photo 925) on a computer running Windows XP Professional.  When I get to the part of the installation where I select the printer from a list in Windows this printer is not available, so I chose to Windows Update the list.  I've done several times, and the list of Epson printers is actually reduced after selecting the 'Windows Update' button.  Its unusual because a few weeks ago, I did the same configuration for a new machine of Windows 7 and Windows Update added this printer to the list.

    I should add that my printer is on a print server if the installation is a bit more detailed than just plugged in the USB cable and installation.

    If anyone can help with this question?

  • LaserJet MFP M277dw Pro: Windows installs its own printer driver after failure of wireless printer, print

    It is a problem really bizzare, I will try to explain as clearly as possible what happened:

    • I have 277dw LaserJet MFP Pro, which is connected to my PC via wireless network. I installed the drivers from HP and everything worked as a watch movement - printing and scanning.
    • Yesterday, the power is out for about 30 minutes. Computer stayed on thanks to UPS, but the printer power loss.
    • Once the power was restored to the printer, printer initialized and I was able to access his page of HTTP status without problems. All the parameters of the printer has persisted. Same IP address. Printer all self-tests pass. However, I have lost the ability to print (printer shows more as an option in the print dialog boxes). Scanner works as usual, save the scan to a network folder.
    • The State of device HP icon has disappeared from the taskbar.
    • A bunch of new entries titled "NPIF7BB8E (MP Color LaserJet MFP M277dw)" appears in the Device Manager. This 'new' device appears in the Device Manager 5 times under different categories of devices (see attached screenshot). In the Event Viewer, I discovered that Windows installed for this device right when the power has been restored to the printer.
    • Under control panel-> hardware and sound-> devices and printers, all devices installed by HP are grayed out and their status is not connected.
    • Restarting the computer does not resolve this issue.

    Anyone have any ideas on what is happening here? It's the second time this has happened - I was able to fix the first time by reinstalling the printer drivers. However, I don't want to have to do every time the failure. This looks like a bug in Windows or the drivers.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    Most likely your operating system is set to automatically install the drivers, when the lost connection the WPS driver build has been added.

    Try these steps and check if that helps:

    1. In Control Panel, select network and Internet.
    2. Open the network and sharing Center.
    3. Search your active network profile, it appears just below the name of the network (for example Private Network, work network)
    4. The side pane select change advanced sharing settings.
    5. In the profile category, uncheck 'automatically enable the configuration of the connected network devices '.
    6. Click on save to confirm.
    7. Devices and printers remove any element M277 printer), as well as Device Manager (remove the two original HP or WPS item, you should see is no longer the M277.)
    8. Once select start > all Apps > HP > HP Laserjet M277 and select the shortcut to reconfigure the device, it can appear as the printer software installation & connect a new printer, etc.

    Hope that helps,

  • HP C7280 printer all-in-one: how to stop the software installation on C7280 printer, running for 6 hours

    I completed the installation of the C7280 all in software and it got to the configuration of the printer.  I used the wizard on the printer wireless to locate the wireless on the laptop, but when I tried to search for the printer on the laptop he couldn't find it.  Tried to save because it wouldn't let me move forward on the configuration and it inadvertenly started installation, but this time it will not stop install (6hrs) how can I stop installation and save my previous install

    Thanks for the reply, I have already done 4 uninstall yesterday 7z file level and renamed the file 7z in what has been shown as lacking in the original installation failed.  I was trying to see if I could save the first successful installation after all of the problems.  So, yesterday I did basically what you said and the software is installed and this time the printer has been detected and it works fine now.  Thank you

  • X 2 Pro 512 G1/Officejet 6310: Installation of HP printer on Windows 10

    I can't get my printer to install Bluetooth on windows 10. With Bluetooth kit on windows settings, I've added, and all seems OK in Device Manager.

    The printer is correctly installed to work and connect usb cable. It's just the bluetooth option does not work.

    By bluetooth, it is paired and connected ok, and the name of the printer appears fine under bluetooth devices in device (which are all installed correctly) Manager. Curiously, it is called "printer, scanner, copier" in the printer folder devices nd, rather than by his real name, or name of the product.

    In the wondows 10 settings bluetooth settings it says driver is uavailable, and the printer is missing from the list of printers when you print from applications.

    I tried update the driver of the printer (the device, other devices Manager) but says windows can not find the drivers. (in the Device Manager it shows drivers installed and does not any errors).

    I removed and added the printer, but this has not solved the problem. I don't know what to try next.

    I have now solved this.

    I removed the printer in the printer list. I then used "add a printer" settings / bluetooth/printers add it to begin process again. When he could not find my printer, I clicked on "not in list" which meant that I could choose how I could set up the printer 'manually' - the last option on the screen. It asked what port I wanted to use. I chose the bluetooth/virtual port. It was the whole secret on how to install. Then, everything went well and the printer now works over bluetooth.

    I hope this can help others with the same question because it took a lot of time try all other options before discovering this necessary port first setting - IE. the road to the manual installation.

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
    And that way if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Data recovery, if required:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
  • Network installation error 0x0000000d printer?
    I have a Canon Pixma MX860 installed on a desktop computer running Windows XP Pro.  I'm trying to add the printer to my laptop running Vista.  He finds the network printer, but I get an error 0x0000000d during installation.  Microsoft's proposed solution is to modify the registry, which is beyond the capabilities of the computer.  Any practical advice?
    Found an answer here what has worked for me http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/NetPrinterNoPP.htm.
  • The software installation will see printer on network
    I install a Photosmart Premium C410a on a PC brand new win7.
    The installer can't find the printer on the network.
    • I checked that the software on the disc is the current version.
    • I choose 'Advanced' and enter the IP Address of the printer.
    • I assigned the printer and the PC static IP
    • I placed the printer and the PC on its own network with a router and just 2 devices (I tried static IP and auto).
    • I have used several "well-known" cords ethernet connection.
    I can:
    • Ping the printer's IP
    • Connect to the printer by HTTP
    • use the printer with a USB connection
    Did I miss something?
    Is there a solution?
    OK, let me start by saying that I swore off software firewall for many years... I bet you can all guess how this story ends.
    Mea culpa: you guessed it people, I installed the "Internet Security Suite" instead of the free AV program. Well, after 2 days of torture, the firewall is gone and the printer and the software works like a charm! GRRRR...
    Thank you all for not making fun of me (which I richly deserved).
