  I bought Adobe Photoshop elements 9 a year or two ago.  I have still the installation disc and all the packaging that goes with it.  Unfortunately, my imac crashed and I had to buy a new imac.  I would like to install this program on my new computer, but there is no drive to this topic.  There are also no instructions included this direct installation without using the disk.  How can I get this installed on my imac, so I can use it again?

  I upgraded from LR 2 to 3.2. I have an iMac OS10.6.4 with 2 GB of memory. My Lightroom Catalog is on a separate portable player. (By the way does not catalogue LR 3; the catalogue presents itself as a second catalog of LR2 - just curious to this topic). I read in other forums on performance problems, esp. loading the thumbnails and adjustments. I do not see the solution and discussions are pages and pages long.  I have most of the same problems, but the biggest problem is to take an image from lightroom to photoshop elements 8. It takes forever to get back, like 5 minutes for the image to open in PSE or the image to be saved in LR. If I upgrade the memory to 4 GB it will solve my problem? I had no such problems with LR2.

  2 GB of RAM will not be sufficient to run LR at any kind of speed

  4 GB will help no end.

  You can also watch by putting your actual catalog on a HDD internal. Leave the image on the outside files, but the reading and writing constantly on an external drive will slow down things without end.

  Make sure you cache relies also on a fast reader and book a significant amount of space for him. 20 GB minimum.

  You can name a catlog now seems, I assume that you have accepted the parameters by default when you updated the old LR 2 catalog and Lightroom 2, has been named to differentiate LR just add 2 to that.

  I had Photoshop elements 11 installed on my iMac. Against all odds, my drive hard iMac doesn't have (still under warranty and therefore was replaced by Apple). I tried to load Photoshop from a backup on the same machine, but it is said to re - install. Please can you advise how to do this? I have my serial number before (not sure if I should post as well here?).

  During re - install my laptop, I get the error message that I need IE 4.0 or higher. I use IE 11.0. I tried to download a version of the Adobe site, but it has only Photoshop Element 7.0 or superior-installation files. I have a much improved version 1.0 (Yes, 1.0 10.0). Can someone please help?   If you really want to say version 1, so you'll have no choice, but to press the disc you have - there is no download for what anyone prior to version 7.  The following could be useful for thwe problem you describe...
