• Problems after updating the BIOS on Satellite Pro P200

  I recently buy a Satellite Pro P200 running Windows Vista Business. Yesterday, I updated the BIOS to the version 1.50 supplied with the machine to 1.80 available on the Toshiba site. I double checked that I was using BIOS correct update for the Pro P200 Satellitel running Vista.

  After updating the BIOS, I have now two problems:

  2 Control Panel > system now shows the processor and the memory (RAM) as "not available".   Basically, I want to get everything working again as it should, but cannot find any information on these issues.

  I have a Satellite Pro A120 PSAC1E and reflection on a clean install of Vista Home premium as a result of an upgrade memory to 2 GB.

  Download all of the drivers, tools, unzip the files and install it.

  That s all buddy and I don t know why it so hard to s?  :|

• Satellite Pro A120 (PSAC1E) - TV problem

  My laptop "Satellite Pro A120 (PSAC1E)" computer does not connect to any type of TV (digital or analog). I tried many different kind of connections to SCART-VGA to VGA-HDMI. I think something is wrong with the VGA output because apparently the Intel graphic card supports the TV/monitor output as the software driver suggests. However, I can't connect the laptop to an external monitor rather easily and without hassle.
  Someone there has the same problem and if so, do you have a solution to this problem (everything!).

  As far as I know NOT ALL Satellite Pro A120 PSAC1E are equipped with the video output jack!
  I see you are using an external monitor connector!
  This port can ONLY be used with external display (screen) or a projector, but NOT with the TV!

  The TV can be connected to the s-video port that is not available!

  The Toshiba driver page provides all the necessary drivers. There is a new update 5.20 - B70A DLA . CA? OS independent and Ca s? s a good idea to install it.
  This is the problem for writing or formatting DVD-RAM disk.

  PS; The DVD-RAM driver is also available but only for W2k

  Are you 100% that this laptop supports an IrDA port?

  By the way; all laptops with an IrDA port use a common Microsoft Windows driver to run the IrDA port.
  Then you n don't need to install any 3rd irda drivers. The windows OS using a clean!

  But once again; the question is: is this laptop supports IrDA port? I think that this feuture is not available

  I'm sure because I checked the pilot site and found all the necessary drivers for XP and the modem in the Satellite Pro A120 PSAC1 driver download area.

  I lost all sound on my laptop after downloading updates for Microsoft XP from the Windows Update site. I followed the instructions on solving the problems on my laptop and uninstalled Microsoft WINMM WDM Audio compatibility Driver.

  I found afterwards kb 935448 XP update that is supposed to solve the audio problem, but this did not work. Now I want to reinstall the audio compatibility driver to see if it will work now, but I can't find anywhere to download.

  Anyone know where I can find this driver?

  The service allowed in your country could order such a part of Toshiba if it would not be in stock.

  But as far as I know the Satellite Pro A120 needs a * PA3092U-1ACA * AC universal adapter that takes in charge 15 V, 4A, 60W.

  I noticed the same problem on the satellite U200. After upgrading from XP to Vista there is no sound, but the audio driver has been correctly installed and audio chipset has also been recognized correctly.

  I doubt that there could be something wrong, I want to say that you said that after changing the method in cooling Toshiba Power Saver, the fans don't run all the time
  Usually the cooling modules are controlled by energy savings and the BIOS contains only the table fan.

  Keyboard of my laptop or on the left side of the laptop becomes too hot because on this side, you find the cooling modules that blow hot air

  I have a 15 D portable computer Satellite pro L40 and I want to upgrade the processor Intel Pentium Dual-Core 1.46 Ghz T2310 an Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4300 2.1 GHz 1 MB 800 CPU or something similar.

  Motherboards intel more modern should easily accept a 800 mhz cpu, but I cannot guarantee. May be an idea to see if you can find out if there are other models of Toshiba L40, also with 800 mhz chip, because it would be a good indicator.

  And if I can't pass a T2310 because of the 800 mhz too is their a 533 mhz cpu that will be compatible & more powerful for audio production that my current Ghz CPU T2310 1.46.

  I've only had this PC 4 years again, it seems not to be very mobile friendly if this resource could not be designed to handle upgrades.

  Problem is that upgrading the CPU is not taken in charge and everything you do is at your own risk.

  I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro C50 - A - 1 K 9 and I am very happy with it. However, I was wondering if there is a way to upgrade the screen for a full HD, one? And if yes, can you point out some retailers to do this, instead of the United Kingdom.

  I did a quick search online, but couldn't see anything. Currently deprived of sleep with my studies, so I'm not myself confidence haha.

  As much as I know these upgrades are not taken in charge and it is not as for me that Toshiba offers several different screens for each laptop model. In my opinion, you should contact Toshiba service provider in your country and ask if a different view can be used on your machine. They have access to the database of Toshiba and can verify this.

  In general the laptop is as a sort of package of different hardware components. Some of them have the best hardware configuration and cost more than one sort of standard notebooks.

  Until you bought your laptop have you checked specification of the notebook?
