insufficient resources when you try to connect. Windows XP

Computer my friend is not letting his newspaper by saying something about the lack of resources and not being is not smart with a computer, it doesn't have a single profile (all I know). We got him a brand new laptop and all, but she needs to files on the hard drive of the other laptop.

Is there a way to make a new profile without having to connect? or just take the other hard drive files and ignore what could be the problem of loading?

She really needs the documents, in order to reinstall the operating system is a big no, no.

The fastest way to get your files would be your old laptop to a system boot to a CD.  Then you could back up some files, you need a USB or via the network.  My personal favorite disc is a disc like Knoppix Linux Live.  Create this disc is as simple as downloading a file .iso and option 'Burn Image' of a program of CD burning to create a startup disk.  Other free CD options include a Windows 'Bart PE"disk or disk of" Ultimate Boot CD for Windows "but these require a Windows install disc and compilation procedure.

    Hello

Temporarily disable the security software on both computers and check if it makes a difference.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.  In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

When you try to connect to my router using the IP address, he continues to ask for a password of windows security.  I don't know what it is, I tried recording with every combination I can think.  Can anyone help?

If you do not know the password of the router, then chances are good that you will need to reset it to the factory settings. Google your model and you should be able to find the instructions.

    I hope this helps.

I have an Airport Express, which gives an unexpected error message when you try to connect to a router WEP (Verizon) existing iOS9.3.2

It flashes orange, but can not be reconnected to the router or to the title of the Setup Assistant or Airport utility.  Is there a way to reconnect to WIFI or should I bite the bullet and connect via Cat5e and be done with it.  My VPN works much better without AirPort Express connected.

Sorry, but there is no WEP settings AirPort Utility on the iPhone or iPad, or any Mac version of AirPort Utility which was used for the last 4 years or so.

If you have an older Mac still running AirPort 5.x utility or a PC with the AirPort for Windows utility installed on the device, the WEP settings that could be used to get the Express to connect to a WEP network there.

As you know, WEP has not been secured for a number of years, and there are any number of free utilities available on the Internet, which is crack a WEP network in a few seconds. Thus, all those who want to be on your network will not have problems to do very quickly.

    But it's your call.

I went to the microsoft website.  I had already cleared cache etc. etc.  I have RESET Internet explore and that got rid of the ieframe error.  Then, I was able to get into yahoo but could not go to a room.  Then, I uninstalled java and reinstalled.  I was then able to go to a room but not to make a table.  I checked the "add ons" and made sure to activate all the java.  I am now able to play canasta to yahoo.  I think that yahoo reset things because others spoke it as and when you try to connect... the screen where you must copy the letters and numbers you see... the page is HUGE and I have to zoom to 75% to get to the screen where I have to watch.  Even this screen I had to make smaller... so I have a few questions to understand.  Thank you for having responded so.

    Sporadic internet connection

My friend has a very annoying problem with the PC! When you try to connect to internet it sometimes makes other times it doesn't.
The desktop pc is connected to the router/modem (D-Link WIFI ADSL 2 + G6242) via the ethernet cable, it communicates with the router, but
not between the router and the net!
I can connect without problems with laptop wireless, which indicates that the problem is with the Office
    and not the router!
I suspect that the Office might be infected with malicious software. I've updated all the thing and run Malwarebytes, Spybot
Search and destroy and Avast AV, nothing malicious is reported.
I have restored to previous restore points, but the problem persists. It may be a corrupt file but which!
I would have preferred to resolve this problem, otherwise I'll have to do a restore of the system Dell Factory!
I'd love to help with this problem appreciate.

I'm using windows Vista Home Basic and attempts to connect to the internet via a usb Huawei modem.

    The handle is invalid

    Thank you

You can get in trouble with your device drivers, firmware and/or software.  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get the drivers (and you shouldat least make the modem and everything you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

Try to uninstall and then reinstall the modem again.  Remove the modem through Control Panel > phones and Modems, then uninstall the modem in Device Manager. Once the reboot is complete and it is reinstalled it should work (as long as you use the update of the above paragraph).  Make sure that you uninstall in this order.

Are you sure that the modem is compatible with Vista and the rest of your system?  What is the manufacturer, brand and model?  You can find here:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • 0 x 80070035 and 0X80004005 error codes when you try to connect to other computers and devices on the same network - unable to connect to the shared devices.

I have a network consisting of Windows 7 laptop computers, an XP laptop and a Wireless Linksys (Cisco) WRT610 N + N with storage attached to it via its USB port.  Your PC Windows 7 has, since I can see and access to other computers and devices on storage.  Since Windows 7 PC B I can not connect (via the file manager) to A PC or NAS storage network.  Get such as 0 x 80070035 and 0X80004005 error codes when you try to connect to the IP address on the device name.  When I ping the devices of PC B I have no trouble to achieve.

I turned off all firewalls, added the LMHOST file entries and a myriad of other tests and still cannot connect to PC B devices.  I can surf the net fine and do everything else - simply cannot connect to other devices even if these other devices can connect to me.

I was in there for 22 years and has worked as an engineer on major networks and the network I stem - anyone got any idead. I checked all the basics such as Netbios, file sharing etc etc.
